Great Buy
I love the Echo Show 8. Alexa must have an updated version from the Echo Show 5 on this model. I think its called Alexa +. It answers more questions and has a chat gpt-esque vibe. It does role play stories with my daughter well, creates my shopping list, and could even randomize chores when I gave her a list. I use the app on my phone to drop in on the living room for video calls. I also use the app to turn the TV on for my dog when I forget. So much fun so far.

Echo Show 8 is awesome worth the money
Medical show it was great it started to mess up on the screen a little bit but that wasn’t the reason I returned it I returned it because I can’t afford to pay for it right now so don’t not get one just because I had to return mine I just couldn’t afford it they are great forgot to take pictures while I had it so no pictures sorry

Love this! Works great but I need to take the time to figure out how to fully set it up. I currently can’t say “Alexa play..” or do anything in that sense but otherwise I love that I can show pictures and play music along with seeing the weather

Amazon Slaps Loyal Customers In The Face!
This is a very impressive upgrade from the 2nd generation Show. However one fact that actually has me thinking of moving over to Googles AI products is because amazon is NOT offering upgrade discounts on all incompatible alexa products for the new alexa+ software upgrade! If this is how amazon is going to treat their loyal customers then it’s time for me to move on because this is absolutely unacceptable. I have spent a lot of money on alexa products to automate my home only to have newer products come out but I have to pay full price for those products if I want to be able to use the new upgraded software of alexa+. Its a flat out a slap in the face to loyal customers! Ball is in your court amazon because making the move to Googles is an easy one.

Live the things you can do with this! Fun games! Listen to music! News! Updates! Recipe library! We have two in our home and enjoy them and use frequently throughout the day! My favorite use is for cooking… step by step guides for recipes.

I was trying to use it when my client is deaf and has to take her hearing aid while I’m doing her hair to have it interpret what we’re asking and saying with our conversation. !
