[Original review]I received the drive and installed it into my Synology NAS. It is currently rebuilding but all seems fine so far.The white label on the drive does show recertified and it appears to be recertified by OEM since the word was printed directly onto the label.I will run a SMART extended test after the rebuild. If anything unfavorable appears, I will update this review.[Update]SMART extended test completed under 24 hours and found no issues and no bad sectors as indicated by reallocated sector count of 0

It purs like a cat
I got the refurbished ones and so far they are working great. I setup two drives as raid 0 in Mobius Pro 2c enclosure. The photo from my Intel mini Nuc 12th gen. Hopefully it be setup for storing security cameras videos and pics. So far I’m very happy with my purchase.

Bad drives, all pass 24 hour burn in: READ EDIT
I ordered 10 of these 14TB x18 drives. They all were reset to 0 hours, so impossible to see how old they are, but all passed the 24 hour burn in test.Speed testslowest 269 read and 268 writefastest 283 read and 282 writeRegistered all and are good for 6 months with seagate.Overall happy, can’t wait to see how long they last.EDIT:First drive failed at about 120 hours. It said 5 year warranty, and other reviews speak of a warranty card. I did not receive any such card. This first fail is less than 2 months, but I still have 9 more, I am sure the remaining failures will be a fight to get replaced.EDIT 2:Have yet to receive my first RMA drive returned back to me and a 2nd drive failed. now 2 of 10 have failed. Logs put the 2nd drive failing at 281 hours.EDIT 3:Hard drive 3 failed before I was able to install the RMA drive 2. The hard drives may not be worth it, but I can honestly say the RMA process is pretty painless. Glad I setup a redundant raid, I feel like it is completely reasonable to expect 3 bad at one time.EDIT 4:Hard drive 4 failed. This hard drive was the replacement to hard drive 3, it made it 34 hours.

Works great on my Synology DS918
These refurbed drives are great. Smart trip showed less than 100 hrs. Did a full surface scan with AOMEI partition assistant (free version), and found no bad sectors. Will buy again next upgrade.

Very fast delivery tested drives all has a clean bill of health with drive dx. Ran speed test all 4 of them were right at 400mg read and right over thunderbolt 3.

I ordered this after seeing in the description that it has a five year warranty and then seeing in a review that when shipped it had a five year warranty card inside the box. I bought from Tech on Tech and they did not ship this.Amazon did and they did not send a 5 year warranty card. Bait and switch. I ordered from Tech on Tech. Not Amazon and I want the 5 year warranty card.
