This is an amazing floor cleaning robot!
Our Shark just stopped working and we replaced it with this IRobot Roomba 104. We made a great decision, quality, suction power, smart navigation , long battery run time. I loaded the app, charged the unit and first start this unit mapped my floor plan and then cleaned everything. The cleaning power is much better than the Shark, solid unit, at a much better price. This unit works it way around every inch, rugs, laminate floors, kitchen island. The unit even tells me if it gets stuck, or it runs low on power it goes back to its charger, recharges and returns where it left off, incredible. Easy to program, long battery life, powerful suction and smart nav, cleaner floors and carpets. Happy wife, happy life.

I’m lovin’ this little guy! With my phone I can let it learn my floor plan, choose regular clean super clean and tell it what room to clean or let it just do everything!Cup to empty evey couple of times, actually holds a lot for my one story apartment. Just pull the cup out and dump!I haven’t figured out the mopping yet, I’m still learning. He’s fun and kinda entertaining as I watch a movie he’s done before me! 🤣. I have some carpet a kitchen and bath tile no grout, and one bedroom hardwood floor. Goes under anything, but I do remove the chairs from my dining room. Put them on top of the table.I can set up a time of day/night whatever! Full instruction videos on your smartphone, good solid unit.

Overall pretty satisfied for the price
I needed a new Roomba so I took a chance with this one. Was very easy to set up! I do love how it maps the rooms when you set it up as well. Cleans very well and runs pretty quickly. It’s also much quieter than my previous robot. Things I don’t like is first the roomba’s bin is located on the side where it charges. So you have to take it off the charger to empty the bin. Second, the app is terrible. My old one I could see the battery life and the amount of time it’s been cleaning. This app literally gives you no information at all. It basically shows you the map and start and pause and that’s it. So they could definitely improve the app. But, overall for the price, I’m pretty satisfied.

I absolutely love these! I bought my first one over 10 years ago, it still works like a champ. I’ve bought rebuild kits for a couple times and a battery once. They are super easy and CHEAP to maintain. They clean amazingly well. The old one was kind of a random motion generator, it just sort of drove around for several hours, and when you’d look at the tracks on the carpet you would think that a toddler had been driving it. But it did the job! The little dust bin would be absolutely full. You wouldn’t think that little tiny motor would be powerful enough to do much good but it really is. I love the functionality of these things, I turn it on and I leave. When I get home the floor is clean, how simple is that! It fits any place you want to, I would suggest you use double back tape to tape the docking station down to the floor though because if it’s not solidly fixed, it will be confused trying to dock itself and recharge as the dock scoots around.I just recently bought two more, they are even better than my old one! They were not terribly expensive, so I bought one for my daughter for Christmas and a second one for us. We use this new one upstairs at our business where a lot of us bring dogs to work so you can imagine the dog here. You don’t realize how much dog hair is on your floor until you have one of these things running around every other day picking it up!I use them primarily on hard floors, but it does equally well on carpet. One odd thing though, my upstairs of my house has an extremely high-quality extremely dense carpet and I cannot use it up there because it leaves really bad deep tracks where the wheels continue to run the same path over and over. but on regular low carpeting, normal quality, it does just fine and does not leave deep tracks. It does a great job on all these carpets when it comes to cleaning though, it’s just my complaint about the tires leaving tracks in my deep carpet that I don’t like.The last thing, do not use these on a very deep shag! My daughter had one a few years ago that she used on an area rug that had really crazy deep shag, (so deep that it actually laid over because the strands were about an inch and a half long.)It choked that thing down terribly and ruined it. So do not use it on extremely long shag style carpets. Only use it on very tightly woven carpet or hard floorsIf you will look at the photo, this is an example of what I’m trying to describe about my upstairs carpet. It’s extremely dense and these are the indentations that chair legs leave. They clear themselves up in just a few minutes, but the Roomba would continue to grind those tire tracks in every day Which did not look like it was real good for my carpet. So do not use a Roomba on an extremely dense carpet

The right amount of robot
Our floors are much cleaner now that we run this machine every few days. Because we have it, we are mindful of cords, cat toys and other items on the floor that could tangle it up, so its presence also kind of enforces a level of tidiness.This machine does not learn quickly, it is not using satellites and cameras to map the shifting topography of our home, and I am happy with that. What it does is wander from room to room in an apparently random fashion, and it always finds dirt. It eventually seems to go over the entire floor. We have two cats who find it loud and unpleasant, but also fascinating. They stalk it from covert locations, calculating the balance of the predator/prey relationship. Someday, they may attack it, but if that happens, I think the Roomba will survive.Cons:Somewhat loud – It is as loud as a normal vacuum cleanerNeeds supervision – It can’t be left running home alone, because it gets stuck under furniture from time to time. It sometimes makes mistakes that could endanger its life. I block it from entering areas where it could fall off of a cliff, because in spite of the cliff detection feature, I think it might very well fall off a cliff if given the chance.Only one phone allowed – The phone app seems to allow for only one phone per user, so only one member of the household can command the vacuum from the phone app; not a big deal for me because I just push the button on the top of the Roomba and it takes off.Pros: It vacuums the house frequently. I am never going to do that.It has the work quality of maybe a ten year old who was asked to vacuum the house–but unlike a ten year old, it is persistent.The suction is good, it gets diirt out of deep rugs and it does well in the corners.It is able to get over thresholds and it is fine around our cat dishes- pushes them a little bit but then backs away.

Tengo muchos pros que contras, yo pensaba que el producto no iba a salir tan Bueno, pero de verdad que me ha sorprendido estoy enamorada del producto, me ayuda mucho, ya que en la mayoría de veces uno está muy ocupado con el trabajo, deja muy limpio, espero y deseo que me duele mucho este equipo y que si pasa algo, haya el soporte en mi país, lo malo es que tarda en ir a su base, va a todos lugares menos a la base, a veces choca de lleno con los muebles y si da como que cosa que se vaya de esa manera y otras veces lo hace con mucho cuidado.

Got this for our parents to help control pet hair build up between vacuum days.It has worked great. You can map all the rooms and set schedules on what rooms need cleaning on what days. We have a cheaper model for doing the same thing but it doesn’t have mapping and just bounces around so regardless of what model or brand you choose get the mapping.I give it a 5 star because it’s doing exactly what it was purchased for.So if you have pets and want help keeping the floors clean between vacuum days these little robots do an awesome job.

Great vacuum! It’s so quiet and i can still listen to music or watch TV while it’s running. The mapping is so easy and it does a phenomenal job at cleaning my apartment. The app is also easy to use. I really hope the company doesn’t go out of business, it’s a great robo vac.
