The best coffee machine I’ve ever owned. It’s beautiful and has so many bells and whistles.
I absolutely am in love with this coffee machine. It is so cool and it is so beautiful. It’s a real conversation beats when somebody walks into the kitchen. I’ve had a lot of fun with it. It makes great coffee. There’s all kinds of cool little features on it. it’s super easy to use. I love that they have this little built-in arm to whipped cream or froth up your coffees in the morning. It has a nice little warmer underneath. If you wanna make a pot it’s great. This is the best purchase I’ve ever made.Bonus, you can also make your green tea or any kind of looseleaf tea in there as well there’s no need for any paper filters. It’s super easy to clean super easy to use. It’s made making coffee in the morning or even green tea. Super fun. It’s a whole experience now and when people walk in the house, they all stop to wow it’s a great looking machine! Super easy to use super fun and super easy to clean

    Best of the best.
My husband and I are huge coffee lovers, and have tried many types of brewers in the past. This Ninja was purchased in early August, and I waited until October to review so I could give a thorough review after many, many uses. I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is the absolute BEST coffee maker I have owned. We are also a Ninja-product family, so I was ecstatic to add this to our kitchen. I thought I was a regular creamer-only kind of person until this Ninja gave me options. Now its opened up a whole new world of things I’ve made… and loved! My husband is the one who likes all of the crazy caffeine concoctions, toppings, flavors etc. He is THRILLED with the versatility offered by a single coffee machine. This maker is used a bare minimum of 5 times per day (don’t judge us). Each time, we have the freedom to explore and design different flavor profiles, micro foams, temperatures etc. Hot, espresso, over ice, latte, cappuccino… the list goes on. You can choose from a vast array of sizes, from one small cup, all the way up to a large pot with just the twist of a knob. It comes with a tempered glass carafe for the larger servings. What you get: Coffee maker unit, smart scoop (labeled with how much coffee per serving), frother wand attachment, tempered glass carafe with smart funnel, permanent basket, filter basket, flip top water reservoir, de-clogger tool, instruction manual.Useage: Variety of cup sizes on this machine include:CupCup XLTravel tumblerMulti Serve TumblerHalf CarafeFull CarafeIt also features a drip stop, which functions similarly to an emergency break. This is used typically when you are making a larger serving, and would like to pause the brewing cycle to grab a cup of coffee before it finishes. Each time you use the Ninja, even if its just a small 9 oz cup, it tastes like a full freshly brewed pot. It isn’t instant like some types that just send hot water through. It takes a few minutes to fully extract the coffee flavors you want.Coffee Types: You can choose classic brew, rich brew, or over ice for each cup. For a cold drink, place a generous serving of ice into a large cup, add your coffee grounds, and brew with the “over ice” button.Frother Wand: To make a foam, simply choose your liquid (milk, creamer), place desired amount into a cup, and place your dairy cup under the wand/arm. Press the top button for around 30 seconds, and you will have a lovely foam to pour over your coffee.Cleaning & Storage: All parts of this coffee maker (except for the main unit itself) are both handwash and dishwasher friendly. In between brews, take both filters out (one sits inside the other), discard used coffee grinds, wash out, and you’re good to go. When the dreaded descale light comes on, it is as simple as running some water diluted vinegar through the reservoir. There is a small “shelf” to hold small/medium cups, and the shelf flips up to accommodate larger tumblers and the carafe.Issues/Things To Consider: This model does NOT accommodate k-cups or pods. This machine is for use with ground coffee only. I used to use reusable pods, but I actually prefer this method more. To me, it is much easier to clean a larger filter versus the tiny cups. Conclusion: This is undoubtedly my most favorite gadget in the house. I would recommend it to any person seeking a good cup of coffee from a reliable brand.

    Pour over no more!
The “specialty” button on this model makes a better cup of coffee than my pour over method, not exaggerating, which I’ve done for years. Read on for tips.I first bought the Ninja model without the “specialty” button at the store- and then got on amazon and realized that the store didnt even have this model. So I returned that and ordered this. While the specialty option does not taste just like an espresso, that’s fine with me because the flavor is fantastic (Gevalia Colombia!) and honestly I don’t like how compact and thick espresso tastes, to drink every morning anyway. (I returned a Nespresso before buying this. Not for me). I use just 2 “big scoops” instead of the 4 recommended by Ninja, and it is the tastiest coffee, rivaling fresh ground bean pour overs and beating most, which is a shock to me. I think if you used the 4 “big scoop” recipe it would work well for drinks with milk. I don’t drink milk in coffee but can imagine double the strength working fine for that purpose.I no longer have time in the morning for pour overs, unfortunately, but this machine is really making it easy on me! I am in love with just touching a button and walking away- and getting better tasting coffee! It “blooms” the grinds and has a showerhead water dispenser, so it might just work better than a pour over, in terms of consistency. This recipe is strong, though, so I often clean out the filter and just hit the “classic” button again, into a clean glass, and use most of that water to dilute my drink. The idea is that coffee is simply less bitter the less time water is running over it. So brewing a lower yield cup for shorter time, and then adding clean hot water to taste, really does rival a pour over. I do this even for a half carafe- just select a lower yield option (see the quick guide) checking that the brew coming out never becomes that pale brown color (that’s the bitter part). Just always clean out the used grinds to get some clean water. You have to play with the preset output options and amount of coffee to make a larger quantity this way. But it’s way less time to do than standing over the grinds and pouring yourself. My main concern is heating water inside plastic, which is why I started using the pour over method. I wish Ninja would make it BPA free and label it as such, as some other brands do. I was not able to find a machine without plastic, and the BPA free brands had some bad reviews about performance, which I don’t have time for. So Ninja, if you’re reading, please make your coffee makers BPA free as I know lots of people won’t use coffee makers due to the plastic. I just have been forced into using a machine, so, taking my chances but really enjoying the coffee. If you are looking at other Ninja models, or other single serve option coffee makers, this guy has it all and performs very well. You can go from a single morning cup to making a full pot, and all the milk drinks. It does it all. I read so many reviews and they are right. This is a great machine.I store the water tank in the fridge when Im done to prevent mold growth. There is definitely water inside the machine after a brew (same as any model) so dont let this sit unused and definitely run the cleaning cycles as recommended. I will be keeping my eye on where the water goes in.But the removable tank is easy to pop in the fridge. I really like that.Ok! Please click helpful if this helped you! I am late to work now but wanted to help you out! Have a good one and hope you buy this guy! 🙂

  5. Customer in Canada

I love this coffee maker! So many options in one machine. The specialty coffee with frothed milk is a fav. Easy to use and clean.

  6. Amazon Customer

This is the coffee machine I’ve been waiting for! Not yet around in Canada, but ships from the USA via Amazon Canada.I don’t need a coffee machine that makes tea, I don’t need a spinning whirly gig on the side to froth milk… I need a ‘Coffee Machine!’ And this is it! Boy does it keep coffee hot and that’s on the low ‘keep warm’ setting which doesn’t tarnish the flavor. And what about that flavor, it’s amazing whether just brewing a single mug or brewing a complete giraffe (it has a long neck) the flavor is consistent. Love, love, love the cold brew feature. How have I lived without this? Previously I’d brew a pot of coffee and put it in the fridge to cool down, but this baby brews straight over ice, again by the mug, if that’s all you need. Again, awesome full flavor without being bitter. It sits under the counter too and because of the horizontal action of the brew basket, you don’t have to move the machine everytime you want to brew a coffee. The included measuring spoon attached to the side and ‘drip stop’ feature make this machine standout from the crowd for sure.I’m English, we don’t make cups of tea in a coffee machine and I believe you would be deported from the UK for doing so.So if it’s real coffee you’re into and not all that ridiculous frothing nonsense, this is the machine for you!

  8. Jon

Just a good, reliable, well built coffee machine. Nothing overly fancy, it makes good coffee and looks good on my kitchen counter. Purchased in July 2024, haven’t had a single issue as of Feb 25/25.
