Great value. Here’s why …
I’ve had this pot now for about 3 years. It’s convenient, cute, heats quickly while the exterior stays cool to the touch, and still works as described. The 4 settings – off, low, high, and keep warm – work as indicated and respond quickly when changed. The clear lid means I don’t have to open to see when to adjust the temperature. The generous size supports making a few cups of herbal infusions and decoctions. The cord length is typical for crockpots and hot pots. It’s a perfect little pot.

True to product advertisement and great quality
This is an EXCELLENT little product! Serves probably 2-4 people size wise as long as they don’t have competitive eating size hunger. Should be okay.. easy to clean. Cooks very well. Steaming function is excellent. Steamed some chicken and vegetables. No weird odours only great food smell! Not sticky easy to cleanAs picture described. Will add pictures later

Perfect hot pot and steamer!
I’m so happy with this hot pot, I love the neutral color and the useful handle that makes it easy to pick up and hold onto while cleaning. Nothing sticks to the bottom either, which I wasn’t sure of when I was deciding which hot pot to buy, there are so many. I also like that the water boils super fast on the high setting, then I just turn it down to the regular setting after adding my ingredients like rice. The steamer made perfect hard boiled eggs and it was the first time all the shells came off without the eggs looking like they’d been in a fight lol. Also there is no leaking of liquids from the lid which is important. So far everything I’ve made in this has come out really good and clean ups a breeze! And if you’re like me and always had bad luck with pots boiling over on the stove than this little gems for you, no boil over! I really love this hot pot and it holds quite a bit and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It’s also pleasantly aesthetic looking to leave out on a counter.

Very slow to heat, but convenient.
I don’t understand the other reviews that this is fast to heat up. It is extremely slow at heating up, vastly slower than the water boiler I use for tea. It’s faster to boil the water externally and pour it into here. Other than that, it’s a cute little item and very convenient for single servings of soup. I live alone and appreciate that. It’s also a very nice small steamer. The handle on the side a very nice ergonomic feature.

Your Go-To Appliance for Effortless Cooking and Steaming!
What sets this hot pot apart is its efficiency and versatility. With a 1.6-liter stainless steel cooking pot, it’s perfect for preparing noodles, soups, hot pot dishes, and more. The adjustable temperature control allows you to achieve the desired cooking temperature quickly and easily. The added steamer attachment expands the possibilities of this appliance. You can use it to steam vegetables, dumplings, or seafood, making it a versatile addition to your kitchen. Here’s a personal scenario: I recently used the Dezin Hot Pot Electric with Steamer to prepare a hot pot dinner for friends. It was a hit! The adjustable temperature control allowed me to customize the cooking experience for each guest, and the steamer attachment made it easy to serve a variety of ingredients. Cleanup was a breeze thanks to the stainless steel pot.

Must buy!
Best hot pot! I’ve been using it for years now and the quality is still the best! It’s so cute and I can order pho to go and warm it back up and it cooks so fast. I’ve cooked ramen noodles in it, I’ve boiled water for tea I can use it for anything especially if i’m on a time crunch. Perfect size and fits in my cupboard well. I do remember it did have a slight burnt smell when I first started using it but after a few uses it went away.

Absolutely Rubbish
This thing is so horribly designed I am astonished that anyone would have such a lack of integrity to bring it to market.First thing I noticed was, the heater coil does not distribute heat evenly. When I took it apart it became obvious why, as there was not actually a coil, just a semicircle of heating element that left one side of the pot cold while the other got hot enough to burn your food.Second thing is that the other side of the pot gets hot enough to burn your food… in just a few seconds, even if you have it on the “Keep Warm” setting. This happens because the only temperature control mechanism is a 2 thermal switches with different set points (one is intended for the keep warm setting and the other is for either of the 2 cooking settings). Their calibration does not seem to be very precise, and their hysteresis is enormous (meaning that the pot will get scorching hot and burn your food before the thermal switch turns off, then it will remain off for a long time before it gets cool enough to re-engage the switch. The third and final nail in the coffin – I almost found a work around that made this thing slightly useable; by turning it on for 4-5 seconds at a time and then turning it off manually and furiously mixing my food I could prevent it from burning on the hot spot. But then the switch arched internally and damaged the main line voltage contactor so that it wouldn’t conduct anymore or turn on (this is what happens when you use a switch that is not designed to handle the current load for your application).I was able to swap the contact with one of the other contacts making it useable for a little longer (minus one of the modes), but this is just a dumpster fire of a product… I wouldn’t even consider this a MK1 prototype of a bench top hobby project except they’ve spent a nice chunk of change to manufacture a clam shell to hide their hideous workmanship.Normally I would just throw away a piece of junk like this and wouldn’t waste my time disassembling it or writing a review, but right now I am stuck in government quarantine in Korea being served cold food, and this hot pot is my only way to heat it up so I have rigged it to work good enough to take the edge off. But this product is not worth $26, it’s not worth $0. This thing should not legally be allowed to be sold as a food appliance in its current state. This hunk of plastic and poorly assembled cheap (probably soldered with lead) components is a horrible reflection on the seller (Seavox Commerce), it’s a horrible reflection on the manufacturer (Dezin), it’s a horrible reflection on Chinese manufacturing, and it’s a horrible reflection on Amazon. You all need to get your act together or we’re headed for a seriously bleak future.

I first bought a Salton hot pot and it was a total waste of money: the teflon started to peel off the heating surface after two uses and it was near impossible to clean due to being all plastic inside and having a lid that would not come off. I should have bought this one first. It’s all steel inside and perfect for heating soups, water, and other liquidy foods. I have not tried it for actually cooking anything because I just need it for soups. The stainless steel interior is very easy to clean, especially since the lid comes off. It has simple temperature controls and you can turn it off without unplugging it (both features the Salton lacks). Also, it sticks less than the Salton even though it doesn’t have a nonstick interior, I think because it heats more evenly. The Salton only heats in the middle so things burn on easily. The inner pot is NOT removable so you can’t submerge the unit, but I haven’t see any economical hot pots with a removable liner except Crockpots, which take about a half hour to heat soup. The only thing I would improve is that the cord is extremely thick and stiff and the pot is small and light, so sometimes the cord can make it hard to position the pot nice and flat exactly where you want. Minor issue. This is a really good little hotpot for heating soup or emergency cooking when you don’t have a stove.

I will talk about my experience I bought the beige one, the pink one with the same features costs about double the price of the beige one. As far as wattage goes, perhaps the LO setting provides 200 watts if the local voltage is 110 volts. However, the local voltage where I live is 127 -128 volts, and the device provides over 350 watts, according to my power meter. I have found this hot pot to be good for quickly heating up ready-made soups, and for heating up a mixture of water and milk, or just water. I don’t use it for preparing thick-flake oatmeal or multigrain cereal, because there is no temperature control, just the LO and HI settings, no provision for simmering. I prepare those things on a stove top, where I can simmer for fifteen minutes after bringing the water to a boil. As for cleaning, I have found it to be easy to clean after heating something with the LO setting: if there is a thin layer of food stuck to the bottom of the pot, the most I have had to do is to put a half cup of water into the pot to soften the layer, then to wipe it off after a minute or so, As for the HI setting, In one case, it took much longer to soften the food layer that had stuck to the bottom. As for the Keep Warm setting, it provided under 30 watts of power. That may be all right in some situations. All in all, this hot pot has simplified my life, and I think I will use it often.
