Good replacement for our Keurig coffee pot (which was always dying on us)
We got sick of replacing our Keurig brewer when it died after 6 to 12 months … went through about 10 of them. We looked for something else, and settled on this one. It’s a bit slow brewing a cup of coffee, but still better than the Keurig overall. Brews a great cup of coffee. Size options are good. The bold option is a nice addition. Cleaning of this brewer is easy.

Complete disappointment!
HB! What did you do? The only time I did not look at the reviews of a product because I had complete faith in the brand. We have had this coffee maker for two weeks. Purchased on October 9th 2025. It made weak single serve coffee in the first week. I ignored it thinking it was my tastebuds. I made a single serve coffee on Sunday the 19th at 3:00 pm. Monday morning on the 20th at 5:00 am the machine made a cup of hot water. I thought I forgot the coffee pod, I did not! Tried two other pods, again, not thinking that HB, would make a bad product, same thing, hot water. So, wanting coffee for the morning, I set the auto brew and prepped the machine. I selected the auto brew set the time and there was no indication I set the timer. The machine went into sleep mode and I hopped for the best. Here we are Tuesday morning the 21st, and no pre-brewed coffee. I turned the machine on and it took 30 minutes for the machine to make the coffee. The amount of steam and noise is insane. I will returning it today! It is a shame, I love the sleek design, it is perfect for the kitchen and especially our RV.

Best coffee maker I’ve owned — versatile, reliable, and worth the space
I’ve had this coffee maker for a little over a year, and it’s easily my favorite one I’ve ever owned. I regularly use both the single-serve side and the full-pot side, and they both work great. It handles pods and ground coffee equally well with no clogs or leaks — I just make sure to clean the removable parts every few months. The coffee brews hot and tastes great every time.The programmable timer works perfectly, it’s easy to fill and clean, and it’s not loud while brewing. The only small downside is that I haven’t figured out how to keep the warming plate on longer for the full pot (it might just be a setting I missed). It’s a little bulky, so not the most space-saving design, but for what it does, it’s absolutely worth it. The water reservoir is large enough for a full 12-cup pot or several single cups. Overall, highly recommend — especially if you like flexibility in how you brew your coffee.

Very impressed about how easy this was to set up and use. Coffee stays hot! Lots of options for carafe and glass sizes. I love the bold option. Great purchase! K cups are a bit weak but I’ll have to try different brands. The timer is pretty easy to set but I wish we had two time options for two different schedules!

I’ve been a Keurig customer for years, but after having to replace the machine every 2 years or less, I decided to give another brand a try. My main reasons for purchasing this Hamilton Beach 5 in 1? The versatility, sleek space saving design, and the reviews. I love that I can use k-cups or brew a full pot!! The water reservoir is slim, but holds up to 12 cups/60 oz. The water reservoir can be changed to use it on the side or the back of the machine, depending on your space, and no tools are required. Just follow the steps. It takes about 2 minutes or less to brew a k-cup, either hot or iced, and the coffee is good! You can select regular or bold brew and you can brew up to 14 ounces!! The carafe is tucked away on the side, it brews a full pot in maybe 15-20 minutes, it’s hot, and the warmer stays on for 2 hours after the brew cycle with an automatic shut off. Coffee can be regular or bold brew and it has a programmable timer to be ready when you wake up. Again, the coffee is GOOD!! The design is space saving genius, the display face shows the time, and is pretty easy to navigate yourself or read the directions which are easy to follow and understand. The needles to poke through the k-cups are slightly larger than the Keurig’s I’ve owned but I’ve had no issues with unwanted coffee grounds, outside of the norm. Now to the thing that took away a star… the cup holder plate thing. I don’t like it. It doesn’t snap in, it just sits there which feels sort of clumsy. I like bigger, rounder cups and they don’t feel secure sitting on the holder. The larger cups will fit on it, but I personally think a larger base with a snap in/out feature would be wise and definitely earn its 5 star glory. You get a great looking coffee maker perfect for small spaces with the versatility and functionality many coffee drinkers need at a very reasonable price point. I’m so happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend!! I did buy the extended warranty, but this also comes with a manufacturer’s limited warranty too. I find it doesn’t hurt to spend a few extra bucks up front to cover the whole thing for (hopefully) years to come.

HORRIBLE – ZERO STARS – GROUNDS EVERY TIME I USE A POD!
HORRIBLE! ZERO STARS! Almost every time you use a pod you get grounds. Not just a few, but the entire bottom of the cup. I have cleaned, I have descaled, I have cleaned the needle, I have used different pods, I have used my own coffee with a reusable pod. Nothing corrects the problem. I bought the machine at the end of January and it worked well for about a month or two and then progressively has gotten worse with noise and grounds. Stick to a Keurig or other brand (I had a Bunn that did pods) that knows coffee. Oh! and customer support at Hamilton Beach… The link to message doesn’t show up and it says to correct the cookie setting. I did. I even used a different browser. Still no help so I had to send them an email for customer support. No phone number, but the website shows Mexico has a phone number. I then checked Amazon’s info on them and there is a phone number – great, right?… No you call and it is a recording of a guy that sounds like he is in a bathroom and tells you to visit the website for support – which, again, is just an email! Stay away from Hamilton Beach products if you need to contact someone for support. Bunn and Keurig have live people to talk to!Update 5/7- Sent two more emails- still no support. BUY A DIFFERENT PRODUCT!

I believe this was a defective machine. I could not make a full cup or carafe without it stopping numerous times. It gave a message to add water when the reservoir was full! The coffee maker was returned.
