Excellent purchase
I have read many reviews and i have to say is: the negative reviews come from heavy hands. I have fixed and upgraded multiple laptops, and use the toolset for my personal PC. Never stripped out screw heads, or the tool bits. The durability is in not forcing things like you would with a vehicle or fixes around the home. Those screw heads were built for a little abuse.The set comes with everything you need and the lid turns into a nice screw tray. This is especially handy for laptops and mobile devices.The best 40.00 spent (roughly) on PC tools. Only wish it came with an ESD wrist strap for repairs in the field, but can purchase one for 5.00-7.00 usd.

Nice little kit
Took apart a laptop and the kit had everything I needed. I’ve already used it for a couple other random projects. I can see it will be handy to have around. Neat foam storage system keeps everything in it’s place ready for next time!

This is a good kit, it has the essentials, I no longer fix PCs full time. I just do my own and like phone stuff. This has what it takes.

Solid Toolkit
Solid kit overall when it comes to fixing electronics.In this case, it was used for keyboard modding.The pry tool does work well, but there are concerns for the stability of the metal to the handle espcially if force is used, which can result in the tool breaking.The price is somewhat debatable, but overall is still worthwhile to have in inventory.The case could be better made as a separate attachment can be concerning should someone accidentally drop the case and the items in it fly out.

Just buy it
This is a very nice tool set. The suction cup, spudger and the super thin guitar picks make opening devices a breeze and are leagues above the “free” tools included with replacement batteries and screens. My only suggestion for improvement is to have a more sturdy case (currently a hard plastic lid with 4 magnets at the corners) and have the tools stay in the foam without them falling out easily.

A good variety of essentials.
This kit has a great variety. The plastic prying picks are surprisingly durable. Good kit to have for any electronics you need to teardown.

Great product. Yes its expensive in India because its imported, but it is still worth it, provided you have regular use for it. The pro tech toolkit is also available In India but this one does most of the job at half the price. However if you just need a basic toolkit you can get cheaper options that can give a greater value to you.

This is the second product that I have owned from iFixit. Bought this one for the office and you’ll never be disappointed with iFixit product. It’s a really good quality product – the price is a tad bit expensive (for me at least) compared to those cheaper options but you pay for the quality and you can be sure that it will last a very long time.
