Very satisfied
A friend dropped a cigarette on my couch during a football game. I didn’t have much hope that I would be able to repair the hole. I wish I would have taken a before photo but the after shows you can barely see what happened. If you don’t know to look for it you don’t notice it. I got lucky and one of the colors was an exact match without having to mix it. My friend offered to buy me a new couch but this $20 fix saved a lot of money

Worked will for me
Worked well and easy to mix colors (I have an artistic background so that was easy) that match the upholstery that I was trying to repair in my RV. Kit has LOTS of colors and is pretty easy to use. I can’t say how the patch will withstand wear and tear, but it does look good.Lots of colors to use and match pretty much any upholstery if you know how to mix colors. Not sure how it will do on large patch jobs.

This product has great potential
Though the chart provided with the kit did not represent the color I needed, my end results were quite positive. I took a picture of my jacket, which needed a minor repair, and used a Google search to find out what tints were needed to match the color. I used it to meet my desired need. The first picture showed the minor area to be repaired. The second picture showed how I mixed the colors to achieve the color. I now must wait the required six hours before applying an alcohol treatment or conditioner. It would have been helpful to know this final detail. Fortunately, I have leather conditioner, so I am hopeful that the treatment will allow me to wear my outfit tomorrow.I used less than a drop of each tint. I hope the tints last a very long time, as I hope not to need to use this repair kit for a long time.

AMAZING RESULTS!
This is a great little kit! I bought this to repair a pair of vegan leather hiking boots that I’ve worn for 6 years and just love. The vinyl cracked about 1/2″ and peeled over the instep. I was able to match the color perfectly (I have some experience in oil painting so I know how to mix the colors to achieve the correct saturation) and saved myself having to break in new boots before a long trip. Easy instructions, and very easy to clean up. Definitely would recommend this for repairs, scuffs, cracks, etc.

So happy with my repairs
I’m very impatient and didn’t do a test before digging in. The kitty cat claw marks on my chair looked amazing after just two coats with the black tube. The picture is of the worst part smoothed out. The small rips in my brown chair were harder but turned out ok. Here are some things I learned:1. Have rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth on hand to buff as it starts to dry (not included in package). This helps blend both color, finish and texture.2. IMPORTANT- let some sit in the pot for 1-2 minutes before applying. This will show you the color it’s going to be when dry (I.e. the lazy gals test strip).3. Have furniture polish or leather shoe polish on hand that you know blends to the furniture to further buff out any difference in the spot repaired.

Definitely a learning curve
I took these to a shoe repair and he told me it was not worth fixing because they weren’t constructed well, but i still wanted to do something to keep it from continuing to peel. It took me a while to get a feel for how to apply it- it probably didn’t help that i was working on a seam as my first use 😅. Took me a couple hours and probably 10 times of remixing small batches as i went along to get the result I hoped for. This stuff dries FAST, but thankfully it also comes off easy if you hit it with some alcohol soon after. Im considering buying some sort of sealant to protect all that work.

Ho seguito i procedimenti consigliati. Il taglio che avevo nel divano, causato da una cintura dei pantaloni si è effettivamente chiuso ma si vede da lontano la riparazione che ovviamente ha un opacità diversa dalla pelle del divano ed è oggettivamente esteticamente brutta. Ho una buona manualità ma il risultato è mediocre. Lo strappo si chiude ma si vedrà la pecetta!
