My thermostat is not heating or cooling, what should I do?
Assuming that you choose Heat Pump, please check whether your cooling or heating is selected correctly, you can try to “Reverse Valve Energize” inside the cool and heat to switch each other to see whether it is back to normal!
If the temperature deviates too much, is there any way to calibrate my displayed temperature?
Try to enter the device sensor setting interface to adjust the temperature. Path: Menu–>Settings–>Advanced–>Sensor Calibration, and adjust the Current Reading temperature to the temperature at which the thermometer is left standing.
The thermostat is locked and I can’t edit/modify the thermostat, how can I unlock it?
Please click the “O” button of the thermostat 3 times continuously or remove the thermostat from the wall and hang it up again to complete the unlocking.
How can I set up a Filter notification or warning on the Vine?
Your filter warning is built into the thermostat and it defaults to 6 months of activity of the unit. A filter icon will appear on the thermostat when it is time to change it. Setting the filter change reminder: Menu-> Setting -> Advanced -> Runtime.

Extremely good Smart thermostat that during break the bank!
I love this smart thermostat! Took about 10-15 minutes to install super easy instructions and bright east to connect to your WiFi too! Extremely easy to use and looks great! It looks very high quality and well built really looks as if it would cost over 100 dollars but it doesn’t. Works super well and a breeze to set up! The app for it is fast and intuitive! Since I’m not going to climb a roof to install a C adapter I used a plug in to the wall adapter but people still ask me where to get one because it’s awesome. The only thing is you may have to calibrate the temperature to measure accurately but that took me about 2 minutes and done! Great device!

Inaccurate can not switch between degrees
Do not buy this is whyI don’t normally write reviews however I won’t buy something on Amazon without reviewing the reviews pretty hypocritical rightWell this product is so bad I don’t want other people to fall into the Trap that I got into with itAs you can see in the first and second pictures these are two different thermostats the first one I purchased on initial power up read the correct temperature it was easy to set up and initiate Wi-Fi however Within a couple minutes of operation in an 80° room it started saying the room was 70° it also would cycle the AC on and off every 10 minutes for about 3 or 4 minutes of runtimeThe thermometer you see over the thermostat is a lab grade and accurate within a half a degree so if it says 75 it is absolutely 75Convinced by the reviews this must be a defective one and I requested a replacement and received it the next day in the second photo you’ll see that it’s not even in the same location I moved it around the corner where there’s no air disturbance just to make sure even though my old thermostat and then the same place for 24 yearsSame thing again as soon as I plugged it in it read the house being 83° and the AC turned on but within a minute it turned back off because it said that the room was 74I’m currently running it in manual mode to a regular manual thermostat shows up tomorrow and bringing the house down from 83 to 75 it only shows the temperature Has Changed by 3°This is obviously a piece of junk don’t buy it I didn’t notice but in the bottom it says caution this is frequently returned now I see why

Update 10/30/2024 12:30 PM:We have just received a thermostat update, and for the first time the current house temperature and device settings were kept the same after the update; that is really awesome as now there is no concerns at all for this device.This Vine TJ-550 is now, for sure, and without doubt, one of the best, is not the best, smart thermostat in the market, with the best possible and unbeatable price ever, period.It is still beautiful, and we all the time, and I mean it, look at it confidently for current outside temperature with just a glance at it; this is my favorite feature, and the one for which I bought it.I am still finding and using features not known or fully understood before, which are really useful and flexible. I am really impressed with this device and the Costumer Support provided. They are really putting the efforts and getting the right results.Don’t think about it any more, buy it, you won’t regret it.End of update.As a smart thermostat it works pretty good. You can remotely see what are current conditions, adjust settings, configure schedules, configure auto cool/heat (if temperature drops to this minimum, start heating; if raises to this hight, start cooling; very useful for Ocala, FL), configure auto fan (even recirculation: turns on fan 10 minutes every hour, or as desired), see history of conditions and settings, etc. etc. etc.Five starts for all those features that work Ok (and sensor calibration also).Did take a start off for the forecast feature seems not to be working correctly, as that is and extra feature, and customer support responded very quickly, and have been in continuous contact requesting information and dealing with the situation. Impressive response from customer support.Will try to remember to update with the outcome later.Update: Sorry for the delay. They said that the forecast information should be updating every half an hour. I said the symbol does, but not the temperature, this one was updating far less often.They reviewed the settings first (connection, location, etc.) but that didn’t work. They requested copy of the settings and the equipment information. They sent some test steps; they received the info. They requested additional screenshots of current conditions periodically.Note that this is a long conversation, over several days; they kept in contact all the time, and referred that they were working with the situation. In the meantime I asked for some clarifications on other functionality; they responded quickly.Finally the TJ-550 received a firmware update, and boom, that did the trick, and the forecast is working correctly. They really take care of customers, and the really stand by their products.This is a beautiful equipment, and I don’t have to look for the phone to know how cold is out there, or what to expect; it is at the thermostat, right away, with the forecast symbol and the current outside temperature. It’s beautiful.I love the automatic function; it its too cold, it starts heating; if too hot, cooling. And no one can beat the price by far.Get it, you won’t regret; this is a great device with and even greater company supporting it.

Finally upgraded from a digital thermostat to this little gem!
Works as expected. I must say I was a little skeptical about the TJ-550 thermostat at first, but so far it has proven to be as good as any wi-fi thermostat out there at any price point.Installation was easy. I do recommend following the install instructions and cut off the power, or you’ll risk the wires touching and blowing a fuse in your air system.The only issue I had was with the vine thermostat phone app. Connecting via the app was easy, but the actual operation of the thermostat in the app took some time to figure out. Having more indepth instructions on using the app would have definitely helped.I found that it does work with the Smartlife app and should work with others, but be sure the thermostat isn’t locked by the vine app and reset the wifi connection on the actual thermostat so it can be discovered by the app you choose to use.With that said, now that I figured out the app operation via the app, I highly recommend the vine tj-550 to anyone looking to upgrade to a fancy high-tech thermostat.

Nice thermostat, Most if not all of the functionality of the nest. It takes a bit to learn (at least for me) how to set a schedule on the app but its all good now. If you pay attention to detail when installing, this thermostat is a real godsend.

Make sure “C” wire is present. Installation is easy. Do not need Rh and Rc jumper. Can use switch at the back of thermostat. The thermostat will synchronize with phone app few seconds after any changes on the phone. If not synchronize, unplug and replug the thermostat. Schedule can be setup on the phone. App is “vine thermostat”.
