Useful and Accurate
I like this model as it has a power cord like a power strip, so its easy to use on the bench while testing equipment power parameters. It displays watts, voltage, amps, and power factor. Its accurate and reads very close to my Fluke meters. I do wish it displayed VA (Volt Amperes), though thats easy to calculate. It has other modes like elapsed watt hours, though I never use those functions. The Briidea power meter is now my go to device to get real readings of what computers and servers are consuming so as to not over provision power planning for these devices. The only wish is that it had an illuminated display. For 30 bucks, its a great price and performs well. highly recommended.

Works as advertised, but could be improved.
I bought this to measure the power consumed by my audio system as a way to gauge the output power. I have a couple powered monitors and a subwoofer plugged into a power strip plugged into the Electricity Usage Monitor. I want to know how much power is being used at any given moment. I set it to watts and it does indeed show the power used, although it is difficult to read because it is always fluctuating with music. My suggestion to the maker would be to have peak/average power modes for dynamic systems. Test Tones are needed to get steady readings. The results are that I was able to pull about 200W in my small-ish office. I didn’t push it too hard because it was getting obnoxiously loud.I would also like to say that this needs a lit OLED screen with some flashy graphics. Put those outlets on the side and you have a slick piece that you might want to mount on your wall. It does come with a wall mount, but I don’t think I will use it. The cord is too short and could use a flat plug so you can fit behind your furniture. I had to buy a 3ft extension cord just for this strip.

Great Device. Simple to use.
I ordered this device so that I could measure the power that my computer tower draws so that I could determine the minimum capacity uninterruptible power supply that I would need to meet my power requirements. This device has provided the information that I need to make an informed decision. The controls are easy to use and the screen is easy to read., but note that the cord is very short so you might require an extension cord. In addition, there are only 2 electrical ports., but 2 is sufficient for me. Nevertheless, this is a great device.

Only displays 1 decimal place for kWh which makes it hard to determine accurate energy consumption
This device works fine. The two-outlet option is nice so you can keep track of the energy usage of two devices at once. But I didn’t realize that it only shows one decimal place for the kilowatt-hour energy consumption reading. So if you are measuring a low-wattage device, it can run for 24 hours and still only show like “0.3 kWh”. I didn’t realize this until it was past the return window, so I’m stuck with it.I needed more accuracy on the energy consumption (kWh) display and wanted a back-lit display, so I purchased this watt-meter and prefer it: Suraielec Watt Meter, Plug-in Socket Power Meter, 90V-250V Wide Range, Backlit Large Display, Auto Cost Calculator, Overload Protection, Kilowatt Wattage Voltage AMP Tester, Electricity Usage Monitor. You can only test one device at a time, but the added accuracy and back-lit display make it a better option for me.
