Super easy to use! Works with all of my stuff!
Bought the EzloPlus smart hub and the video doorbell. It was super easy to set up. The doorbell is super fast, with a great picture! I also integrated my Yale lock, Ezlo indoor camera, my Honeywell thermostat and some smart lighting. I set everything up with relative ease after a short learning curve and was even able to create some automations/scenes – it was super easy to do that btw.I set my camera up in the garage so I can know when my kids are coming and going. The motion sensor sends me an alert every time there’s motion. I had to change the time period when this was sending notification to evenings and nights only because I was getting too many notifications, but that was easy enough.I also set up my outside lights to only go on from sundown to sun up and to dim to 40% so that I wasn’t lighting up the whole neighborhood. Also simple to do. I think next I’ll have the motion sensor on my video doorbell when triggered have my porch light go to full brightness when someone comes to the door, and then go back down when the motion has been absent for 30 seconds.Overall, I had a very good experience and found the product to be simple to use.

Do not bother
This item was worse than useless, it wouldn’t connect to the WiFi even after multiple attempts furthermore it would even connect directly via ethernet cable. I very expensive if stylish looking paperweight.

Very independendable, drops Alexa integration constantly
Set up was easy and finding my devices though cumbersome was not difficult. After loading up all my devices, and I have many, I started using them with Alexa. The first thing I noticed is a considerable delay between Alexa and this device activating my home devices. The delay was so significant that sometimes Alexa would say the device was not responding and then a few seconds later, the device would respond. This behavior continues to today.I have excellent Internet connectivity through Xfinity fiber, and excellent Wi-Fi support throughout my home. I am also an advanced IT specialist.I’ve subsequently abandon this device and gone with a HomeSeer Home Troller Pi which is absolutely awesome and instantly responds and completely independent of internet (though it can be controlled remotely if you want) as well as supporting a multitude of products and automation capabilities.

Ticks every box. Great piece of kit
Ordered this a few weeks ago and it’s been a pleasure to use. Set up was a breeze taking less than half an hour from opening the Amazon box to having it up and running. I LOVE the small size as others I’ve used in the past can be too big and bulky. The manual was straight forward and walked me through the process with ease, even though I’m not too tech minded. I use it with Google home and gives me full control of all my devices.10/10, would recommend to everyone

A learning curve that needs work but works well
I bought this to replace my Homeseer controller. I just wanted simple and easy to use and this looked like that’s what it does, and it kind of does. There’s the controller, the Ezlo where you add the devices, and it was pretty easy to add my devices. After that you have to download an app and figure out how to make it useful. That app is called Vera and other than seeing your devices, it looks like its from a different company. I did figure it out and got my automations done but having 2 places to do things instead of one seems a bit odd. But it works.**Update**3 months later, it just stopped talking to my devices. Nothing changed, nothing moved, it just dropped the switches and dropped the automations/events I had. When I re added them, it sees one as a switch and one as a random device so I haven’t gotten the events to work.I went years with no issues to zwave, I may have to go back.*argh*

Don’t bother. Terrible product
Don’t buy this. The first hint that this is a substandard product is the cheap packaging. By modern smart home device standards this is the worst I’ve seen. The second indication is the app which is rife with grammar mistakes. Why can’t these people hire decent translators and UX designers? The third was that the hub manufacturer is not listed in the default hubs used by Alexa. Amazon probably doesn’t figure anybody will ever manage to get it working so why bother.Pairing my door lock was an absolute nightmare. The instructions were unclear and once I managed to get it done I discovered the app won’t actually control the lock. The unpairing experience was even worse.Skip this and buy a decent hub.

Not ready for prime time
I have a VeraLite that I’ve used for several years and it’s been rock solid. I decided to “upgrade” and went with the Ezlo Plus. It adds devices easily… That’s where the “easy” stops. The user interface and functionality is awful. Web UI seems to be a Beta interface and not consistent with the Vera app (manufacturer recommended app).Virtual devices are great, too bad you can’t change or remove them if you’re learning. The idea behind the meshbots (old scenes in Vera) is great, but clunky and buggy, and doesn’t play nice with the Vera app. Finally, the responsiveness of the VeraLite is much better than the Ezlo Plus, when/if it responds.Like the title says, not ready for prime time. I’ll keep it for a few more weeks to see if it gets any better but it might just be going back.

Easy to set up and connect to Leviton z-wave switches
I ordered this to replace an outdated Vera SecurePlus controller. It was easy to set up and connect to my network using the app. There was a feature that would allow me to migrate my old settings but I simply reset them and added new because my old setup had glitches.
