Did it’s job! Time to buy it again.
I’ve had this geeni surge protector for over 5 years and it has worked wonderfully! I love the ability to turn on/off individual outlets via the app. I can also set schedules and such through it if desired. Sadly a power surge recently zapped this and minorly messed with a few other things, but this surge protector did it’s job and saved the TV and other av equipment connected to it from certain death. I’ll take a roughly $25 loss over what it would cost to replace all that other electronic equipment!!

Poor Product and Terrible Customer Service
The product has a very short life and Customer Service is terrible, they used a time-wasting strategy to ignore their responsibility for their poor product. When you cannot wait for that long, you have to buy another product for your job, and they win. Here is my story, the process took about 4 weeks:My product worked for only 6 months, then it did not turn on, and was not able to connect to Wifi. I tried resetting the device but it did not work. I tried to remove and reinstall the device in the App but it cannot be connected via Wifi again. As they offer a 1-year warranty, I contacted Customer Service and described all the issues to them.In the first reply, the Customer Service team asked me to describe the issues with the device. OK, I answered all of their questions. In the second reply, they asked me to send them a video showing the problems. OK, I sent them the video. In the third reply, they asked me if the device showing online or offline in the App. I responded that I already said it could not be connected to Wifi and I already removed it from the App.In the fourth reply, they asked me to go to the App and extract the ID of the device. OMG, did they read my email or just try to ask to waste time? I asked them to send me a shipping label so I can donate the device to them and they can do any investigation they want. Then they kept silent.I had to submit another request/ticket, they came back and asked me if my problem was resolved ???!!!. I said no and asked them about their company warranty policy for the product, and they kept silent.

This surge protector worked perfectly fine with my Google home and with my different devices connected to it able to freely switch things on and off with almost little to no delay

Well it lasted a while
I used this power strip daily at my office since March of 2023, now it is 2025 it has glitched out shutting on and off and unable to be forced off. Unavailable to pair. So great device but it won’t last forever

Dependable Geenie products.
I’ve purchased 22 Geeni WiFi plug-in outlets of various models inclusive of single, double, 4-switch, several 6-switch outlet strips, and 2 outdoor models as well. They work very well and reset when power goes down. That being said, the only issue I’ve had is due to Spectrum internet constantly dropping which gave two of my Geeni units problems with missed on/off times. Since I’ve switched to Alta fiber 1Gb service with 4 Amazon Eeros mesh 6e units. The combination of eeros with fiber allows for a seamless operation with zero problems. The better your network, the stronger consistent symmetrical up/down use with no throttling back. I highly recommend the Geeni & Eeros products. I’ve not been paid for this review, this is on my own perceptions of everyday use. Alta Fiber also uses Eeros routers for their customer based service installs. I use these strips daily for year round use for home decor. Highly recommend.

Great Product for the value
This is a great product. The kids actually remember to turn items off when they leave the room since they get to tell Alexa to do it. The Alexa App makes it easy to change the name through out the year so the decorations can be turned off at one time. My only issue is that when it does turn off it has a loud click within the unit. Other than that have not had any issues with this item, including the USB Ports, cord length or connection.

I’ve used many different smart plugs before and this is one of the easiest to set up. I bought it to replace another smart powerbar that I couldn’t reconnect after I changed my WiFi network. This one connected quickly and easily. If it matters to you, the bright blue light stays on all the time. Mine is in my living room, tucked under furniture, so it’s a non-issue, but some people may find it hard to sleep next to that.I manage it through Alexa, and noticed I need to keep the bar itself powered on or I can’t control the individual switches. I found that a little clumsy but it’s been easy to work with, especially if everything is automated. The only disappointment was that the first one Amazon shipped was clearly a used and returned model. It had scuff marks and the box looked opened. I didn’t even attempt to connect that one, just returned it and reordered. This one however is great. I’ll put the blame of the inconvenience on Amazon for mismanaging their returns.

Te pedira autorizar a Alexa.

Avoid this horrible company at all costs. Their tech support strings you along so you cannot apply for a refund.I was promised a replacement product since mine died after 5 days. All I had plugged into it was my phone charger and my watch charger, so it wasn’t overloaded.I was happy to get this power bar. It worked wonderful for about three or four days and I was able to automate my phone charger, my watch charger, and a few other things. After the third or fourth day, I came into my room and noticed everything that was plugged into the bar was off. I tried resetting it, I unplugged it for hours, then I emailed technical support as per the instructions provided with this unit.Emails were sent back and forth for days. I was finally able to send them the ID for the power bar, then a few days later they told me they reset it and it should be good as new. This did not fix my problem. In fact power bar got even worse. So I emailed support once again waiting for them to get back to me, but they never did. I forgot about it for a day or two and realized that I had gone past my 30 days for returning this item. This product worked great in the beginning, but then started heating up and it would not stay on. Technical support was horrible. Avoid it all costs. Next time I’ll spend a little bit more and get the powerbar from tp-link.
