I just set up my small recording studio to be a YouTube video studio. With these lights in the ceiling, I can just tell Alexa the brightness level, color, and the color temperature for any mood I want to create. Govee has the most robust software for this sort of control. I bought a handful of Govee light bulbs and stuck them in cheap clamp lights and covered the clamp-light shell with white pillowcases as diffusion filters. I can use the Govee app on my phone for tricky settings, but my Alexa Dot can do most of the work. I just turned 70 so it’s all a marvel to me.

Awsome smart bulbs
You can’t really go wrong with Govee lights these days it seems. Used these as ceiling lights in my daughter’s bedroom, paired with the Govee Smart Ceiling Light. I have owned and setup many Govee product through the years and I find that the quality of the build is constantly improving.Setup, as usual, is a breeze. Everything was connected in 5 minutes – they work flawlessly with Alexa, Apple Home and in Home Assistant. The Govee app allows you to change colors and stuff and also has pre-canned scens that you can use.Plus they can be super bright if you really need to light up the room. Top notch. Highly recommended.

The perfect upgrade for my recessed lighting.
These Govee bulbs are fantastic. I put them in the can lights in our basement playroom, and the kids absolutely love it. We can instantly change the room to “lava mode” (red and orange) or “ocean mode” (blues and greens). They respond instantly to commands from my Google Assistant, and the range of colors is amazing. They are bright, easy to install, and bring a whole new level of fun to the room.

Bulbs Work Good once Setup is complete
Setup for these bulbs were a little more difficult to setup but work good after complete. Works with Alexa which is very important to me, but again, set up was harder than it should have been.

Fast response time, endless color combinations
I added these bulbs above my fireplace and by my bar. Setup time was very quick in the app as it found the devices right away. It was easy to pair as a group and choose the different color scenes within the app. Price per bulb is higher than a typical BR30 but the color choices and brightness are worth it.
