The product works best if your windows are already clean. I purchased this because my home has smaller windows (48” x 24”), so I thought a smaller robot would be better suited for my situation, but about ½ of the units are double hung, which means the unit is also cleaning 24” x 24” windows. For the larger windows, it crawls around as it should, but with the smaller ones, it tends to get confused and will crawl to the top of the window and continually scrub the same area over and over. For the upstairs, this is problematic because even if you use the remote to bring it closer, you will need to lean out the window and grab it to release the suction. Even at only 2.5 pounds, that is a fair amount of weight held in the palm of an outstretched arm while dangling out a second-story window. I also used it on a 72” sliding door. This takes 6 minutes per side. For dirty windows (i.e., outside winter dirt), the unit ends up smearing the dirt all over and never really cleans (see my photos). For inside (i.e., hazy film and fingerprints), it does well. What I don’t like is when the unit has completed the work and is removed, it will leave circles (see my photos) at the point where it stops, forcing you to re-wipe the same area again. Thus, I’m left wondering if a less expensive model works the same. Another issue is changing the cleaning pads. The design flaw here is that the pads have elastic, and the process is best done with the unit lying on a flat surface with the bottom facing up. However, the on / off button is on the top of the unit, and the weight of the unit frequently activates the robot, or it will scream at you until it is attached to something. I’ve unplugged the robot to perform this process, but to do this each time greatly slows the workflow. Considering I spend most of my time babysitting it, I’m not sure it saves me any time. Thus, especially for smaller windows, it might be easier (and faster) to use a roll of paper towels and a can of Sprayway. My opinion…. It is a novel item that may not be worth the money.

Il robot arriva in una confezione super compatta con al suo interno, oltre al corpo e cavi di corrente lunghissimi, un cavo dinsicurezza altrettanto lungo, 6 coppie di panni in microfibra, un telecomando, una bottiglietta spray e il libretto delle istruzioni anche in italiano.Premetto che ho acquistato questo robot perché ho una terrazza con 16 vetri che compongono una vetrata panoramica.Parto dai punti negativi (che dipendono ovviamente dalla percezione di ognuno di noi)1 – lascia qualche alone (per me un non problema)2 – non pulisce bene gli angoli visto che è tondo e si muove in modo circolare (anche questo un non problema per la mia situazione)Vantaggio pulisce i vetri al posto mio mentre sono libera di fare altro, certo devo spostarlo tra un vetro e l’altro perché le guarnizioni creano un ostacolo, ma lancia un avviso sonoro e mi avvisa.Non pulirà mai come una persona, è un robot, ma sicuramente è un valido e aiuto!Consiglio l’acquisto!

Ich war zu Beginn sehr skeptisch und habe lange mit der Bestellung gezögert, bin aber mittlerweile wirklich froh, dass wir den Hutt als Helfer zu Hause haben. Ich bin kein Perfektionist, was das Fensterputzen angeht, mache es selbst einfach absolut ungerne und empfinde es meistens als Zeitverschwendung.Der Hutt nimmt mir diese ungeliebte Aufgabe zuverlässig ab. Unsere bodentiefen Fenster sind für ihn kein Problem. Er haftet sicher, arbeitet systematisch und hinterlässt ein ordentliches Ergebnis – für meinen Anspruch völlig ausreichend. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass ich ihn einfach ansetzen, starten und dann etwas anderes erledigen kann, während er seine Runden dreht.Die Bedienung ist unkompliziert und auch die Reinigung der Pads ist schnell erledigt, da ich sie einfach in der Waschmaschine waschen kann.Kurz gesagt: Wer keine Lust auf Fensterputzen hat und mit einem „sehr ordentlich“ statt „klinisch rein“ leben kann, wird mit dem Hutt sehr zufrieden sein. Für mich eine echte Alltagserleichterung, die ich nicht mehr missen möchte.

Fait très bien son travail.Le seul bémol: les coins des vitres ne sont pas lavés vu la forme ronde des disques de l appareil.Un passage manuel dans les coins est nécessaire.
