    Powerful smart vac
I am really pleased with this iRobot Roomba 104 Robot Vacuum and Mop! It’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s my first time purchasing one but I’ve house sat for family and have experience with them so I knew what to expect from a good one and happy with this one. Unboxing the vacuum was a breeze and quick to set up after downloading the app. Just used the QR code from the box to find the app I needed. Initial setup had the vacuum map out the first floor of my home, then I renamed all the rooms and set the rooms I wanted it to clean. I would recommend letting it charge fully before letting it clean straight away like I did, otherwise it will need to leave the rooms it’s cleaning a few times and go back to the dock to charge a little bit then resume.App: I really like the app, it will show the path your vac has taken so you know it’s covering the areas you want. Also when you’re setting up a routine you can choose from a spot clean (small spot in a room), light clean, standard clean, or deep clean. So depending on the clean you’d like to do in a certain room you can choose just the right clean you need. I chose to deep clean certain areas that get high traffic and standard clean for other areas for the first clean. Another interesting feature in the app is Robot Health, which shows the health of each part of your robot vacuum for maintenance purposes.Vac: I find the vac to be pretty durable and the AI works pretty well. I’ve seen some other models that will get confused and get stuck in an area and keep bumping around and not get unstuck. This vac gets around obstacles without issues and will climb area rugs very well and clean them (I have a thick plush area rug and it was a breeze cleaning it). It’s also great at detecting stairs and doesn’t launch itself off of them, I have a staircase I was initially worried about but not anymore! Suction power depends on the routine you set and it’s sufficient at keeping my home clean. Overall very pleased with the model I chose. It’s great at keeping pet hairs at bay daily with automated routines and gives me back time to finish other things and focus on my work. I’d recommend for anyone looking to get time back from mopping and cleaning the floors often.

    Roomba 104 Review.
I give it 5 stars, simply because it is a super cool gadget. This hardware is impressive—how it maps, moves around, and goes through and around various obstacles. I have various carpets, thin rugs, a runner in the hallway, and plants. Some things could become obstacles, but the Roomba went through all of them. You could use the Roomba without the app because you push the button, and it starts doing its thing. I give it four out of five because the app could be better. The setup:Obviously, this is a high-tech device right in the Box. There’s a QR code that everyone should scan to download the app, and that’s where you set up the connection and update. Still, we ran into some issues where the Wi-Fi would not connect. Remember, you have to use a lower frequency Wi-Fi. I have a 5G Wi-Fi, and I had to make some adjustments to turn on 2.4 Wi-Fi. I ran into some struggles because my wife wants the app on her phone; therefore, I had to reset the Roomba to set it up on her phone, which was a bit of a struggle. It didn’t know what to do, but we got it to work after a few resets. The App.Getting used to the maneuvering back and forth gives you a check in the settings, but it still takes getting used to.I noticed one section of the app that freezes when I click on it. I will have to completely exit the app and come back in. Another thing is that the user guide with pictures and instructions is a PDF file within the app. You need to have a PDF app to see it. I could see someone may have to struggle with that.Overall, our house is always clean, and there’s nothing on the floor to make it difficult for the Roomba, so my setup and mapping were pretty smooth. If you have a messy home with stuff on the ground, I could see that it will be rough for the Roomba. I suggest a preclean, as in picking up oddball stuff, and let it do this mapping.Final review: It’s great for busy people, and the large home format makes hardwood cleaning with solutions the best. If you have a smaller apartment, one bedroom is probably easier to grab your vacuum and be done in 20 minutes. The picture shows you the mapping in the bathroom pattern from the Roomba it covers virtually everything but my tables. Two circles on the app, the with the sad face is the one that freezes the app.The only reason 4 out of five instead of 5 out of 5 is that the app may a struggle for a few users.

Mediocre battery life and app but solid product
I’ll make this simple to read and break it down into pros and cons:Cons:Poor battery life, especially on deep cleanCumbersome app doesn’t let you see things like battery chargeStill gets stuck on minor items like cords and small objectsMop feature is lower endDeep clean can get loudProsExcellent suction, especially on deep cleanFinds home much better and faster than past iterationsMopping feature is basic but does a decent jobSuperb mapping allows the vacuum to know what room it is inPrice point feels very fair, a bargain when on saleMuch kinder to furniture and delicate objects than previous modelsStandard clean and mopping are quietThis is a solid buy, but if you find it on sale it is a no brainer.

    Great Robot Vacuum & Mop
This Robot Vacuum Mop works really well to help keep my house clean and tidy. The mapping feature was effortless and did a really good job of mapping my house and different flooring. I like that I can control the Roomba from my phone and can pick and choose what rooms I want cleaned and how I want them cleaned. I also love that I didn’t have any issues with the vacuum getting stuck anywhere. The vacuum feature is far superior to the mopping feature as it automatically dumps the dirt into the base and you have to manually add water for it to mop. Although you have the refill the water as it mops an area, it did a really good job of covering the entire area. Overall this vacuum mop combo is such a time saver and does a really good job of cleaning.

Wanted to share my excitement about the Roomba 104 with you. After switching from my previous i series robot, I have been thoroughly impressed with the Roomba 104’s performance. The cleaning capabilities are significantly better, and the LiDAR navigation is simply stellar. For an entry-level robot, it is definitely worth every penny. One of the standout features is the improved suction power, which makes a noticeable difference in the cleanliness of my home. Additionally, the noise levels seem to be lower, making it less intrusive during its operation. The mopping function is fantastic, especially since I have carpets. The Roomba 104 smartly navigates around the carpets without getting confused or stuck.Another great aspect is the flexibility with cleaning solutions – you can use any solution you prefer, except for vinegar and bleach. The size of the empty base is also worth mentioning as it is small and discrete, fitting seamlessly into my home. The app is quite user-friendly, allowing you to customize the map and create no-go zones, which is a fantastic feature for an entry-level robot. Overall, I believe the Roomba 104 is an excellent choice for anyone with a small house or apartment.

I’m 73 and stubborn but finally I broke down and bought one. BEST PURCHASE IN YEARS! It did a more thorough job than I did. The spot clean feature and choose your rooms is so convenient. It easily covers our aprox 1000 sq.ft apt.Very happy
