These are perfect! A great product alternative to an overpriced OEM set. 4 /20 screw size mates exactly as expected in a ProMonitor. Interesting enough the product instructions even mention that they are made for these speakers.Overall look very durable and the ball design articulates past 90 degrees of needed. Love this alternative.

Update July 2023Verify the thread size on your speakers match those on the mounts. I didn’t, and found the threaded studs on these mounts were smaller in diameter than the holes in my JBL speakers. They are ideal in other respects, so I made a couple of adapter plates in order to use them. I checked Amazon for a version with the stud size that matched my speakers, but didn’t find any.Original reviewInteresting how I’m asked to review products practically on the day they arrive. I haven’t installed these yet, but I am confident they’ll work. I bought them to replace the mounts that came with a set of JBL outdoor speakers. The problem with those mounts was that it was difficult to get them tight enough to keep the speakers from sagging due to gravity. They were also a ball/socket design, but were made of plastic, and I broke one this year, putting the speakers out for spring. Could get it tight enough to keep the ball from slipping in the socket.These are all steel, except for the ball, which appears to be plastic. The design of these mounts, which clamp down on the ball from the top and bottom, looks like there should be no problem getting them tight enough to stay in position, so long as the plastic balls don’t break. However, since the ball is easily removed from the bracket (unlike the JBL mounts), it can be removed and roughed up with coarse sand paper to provide a bit more friction.I hope to install them this weekend, and if there’s a problem, I’ll come back and update the review. Till then, no news it good news.

Great quality and design
Used both to hold a Polk Monitor XT35 Center Channel speaker weighing 14lbs. It needed to be above the tv and angled down. Screwed a white melamine MDF board to the wall’s studs and then drill holes in it to use 1/4-20 Hex Drive Wood inserts to attach these mounts to the board. I used the same inserts on the speaker since it only had keyhole holders. You have to be very accurate taking measurements and leveling. Bottom line, I was able to angle the speaker to my desire and the brackets handle the weight perfectly. A reviewer said that one of these wasn’t holding his bookshelf speaker that weighs 10 lbs, most likely because it has too much leverage, the speaker is too deep and these were not designed for a speaker that big, regardless of its weight. My speaker is heavy but it is slim and not too deep, plus I am using both brackets; obviously I can only move the speaker in one axis, but that is all I needed. Also, the hex wrench provided is not convenient, it’ll do the job, but it’ll frustrate you. I used a hex bit socket and a ratchet wrench, so I could quickly tighten each screw while holding the speaker in the desired position.

Too long stick
The brackets look nice and feel solid, but the screw is way too long – it doesn’t fit properly into my speaker and sticks out, which looks bad. The only way to make it shorter is to cut it off, which is not convenient.

Hangs up your speaker with a quarter-20 screw hole beautifully
I’m not sure how this little item takes on so much force, but screw the base into a stud and then screw the quarter-20 bolt at the other end of the ball into your speaker. Then you insert the ball into the jaws and tighten it. Some have reported problems but you can solve them with a long and strong Allen wrench screwdriver. Get some muscle into it and they work great!

These are well designed, strong, aesthetically pleasing wall mounts. They hold a good weight. The SVS surrounds are 3kg each.They are super super easy to install, especially when you screw straight into a stud.The price was also fantastic at $35 AUD including delivery.The only issue was the packaging was poor and this allowed the bracket to rub on itself and damage the logos and paint, as pictured. Not a big issue for me, people shouldn’t be that close to look at them anyways.Overall I highly recommend them, but be aware of all the reviews that they may arrive with minor scratches etc.
