JUST what the Doctor ordered
My husband’s nose has been running since Fall, when the high humidity in our area dropped….of course we didn’t know that was the reason for his constant runny nose. My husband’s doctor mentioned it at our last visit (since he always had a hanky in his hand) and YAY, his doctor told him that HE had humidifiers in his home to add humidity when we get into our dry dry winters and we should get one.When we got home from my husband’s visit to the doctor, I did a little research and chose this system….the “Rolls Royce” of large bedroom humidifiers. I ordered it the same night and a few days later I had it hooked up, had the app installed on my phone and had it filled with water. That thing holds a LOT of water. It is really quiet, we can’t tell it is on even when we have the mist coming out on high. I was a little afraid a cool mist would make my husband feel cold, as he always has a space heater on (another reason for low humidity in that big room), but it didn’t bother him. We placed it on a large desk just behind his recliner, where he sits most of the time to watch TV.This humidifier was a great value. There were some that only held a Liter or two………again, this thing holds a LOT of water. We keep it on all day now, and I turn it off late night………I am filling it about every 36 hours………it is a large master bedroom.I just checked the app on my phone and the humidity in that (really big) bedroom is at 46%. We have it set for 45% because that seems to keep his sinuses in check….it turns itself off when set on auto, which we do.There is nothing about this thing that I don’t love, and I’m the one who has to take care of IT, and the Husband.

Worth the money
Honestly this is a really good and easy small appliance to use. I don’t have any gripes or problems with it. The app is great to use and is easy to navigate, and it’s easy to refill and clean. It’s a beast at putting out mist and the water capacity for me in upstate New York seems to last a couple days. If I had any negative thing to say about this it’s only that the diffuser part of it is more of an afterthought and hardly is noticeable. Overall though still a very good product. Highly recommend.

Works as described but keep in mind…
We live in S.E. Arizona so humidity is typically very low except during monsoon season. Local power company suggested adding humidity to help keep the air in the room warmer as well as running ceiling fans counter clockwise. Both supposedly help keep the power bill down. I got it specifically for our living room.The unit is nice and runs very quietly and I think it’s a quality piece of gear. It does use a lot of water and you need to run distilled water thru it not just tap water (ours is brutally hard anyway). So unless you invest in a home water distiller you’ll be buying lots of bottles of distilled water. It adds up quickly at a buck + / gallon bottle. The unit holds just under 2 gallons.The instructions indicate you place it on a hard flat surface so Ok, but what about height? Does putting it on a table or shelf make it more effective than setting it on the floor? Inquiring minds want to know.Like most gadgets these days this thing requires an ‘app’. The controls on the unit are not adequate to set things like humidity level or schedule so you have to get the app. You have to be able to pair it up with your home network which again requires the app.I don’t care for the app at all, it’s overdesigned with lots of cute pictures – ‘scenes’ – the majority of which are irrelevant, but getting to the functional settings is a pain, it would be much better if they streamlined the app with a direct tap to set humidity levels, schedule etc. without all the other unnecessary stuff that gets in the way. I’m a cantankerous old fart who values ease and simplicity not a lot of useless stuff to manipulate. At the end of the day I couldn’t get the schedule feature to work so I just turn it on and off manually.Bottom line it works and is a quality piece of gear that consumes a lot of water quickly even on ‘low’. It may be better in smaller rooms as it rarely seems to hit the humidity level I set. So FYI.

I’ve had a lovely experience with this humidifier. It looks really clean & sleek. On high, it really puts out a nice cloud of humidity. I’ve seen them in plant stores and the look really added to the overall vibe. Super easy to set up and refill. The light is kinda ugly unfortunately. That wasn’t a huge draw for me, but I do wish I could turn it on at night for a cute nightlight. It works, I just find it bad to look at haha. Overall would recommend and when I need a second one I’ll get this one again.
