If you want to bore clean holes on a construction or general contracting job, then you need Milwaukee’s titanium bits. This kit, the 48-89-4680, is a collection of several standard-sized bits of some of the most premium quality on the market. Everything about these bits, from the extended hex shank, to the 135 no-walk tips, is crafted for the professional tradesman to get the job done with speed and precision. The shafts are designed with a particular helix geometry that allows the bits to clear chips and debris away from them while boring through wood. This, coupled with the titanium coating on every bit in this kit, cuts down on friction and heat, speeding up the hole boring process while minimizing damage sustained by your bits. You’re not limited to working with only wood. These bits are also capable of drilling through PVC and some metals. Keep these bits with you in their sturdy carrying case, and you’ll be Milwaukee ready for whatever job may come your way.

Sharp, Durable, and Perfect for Tough Jobs
This 18-piece SHOCKWAVE drill bit set lives up to Milwaukee’s reputation for quality. The bits are extremely sharp and cut cleanly, even through tougher materials like stainless steel and hardwood. I really like the RED HELIX design, which helps with faster drilling and debris removal — you can feel the difference compared to standard bits. The durability is excellent. They don’t dull quickly, and I haven’t had issues with snapping or bending under pressure. The 1/4″ hex shank makes them super convenient for quick changes in my impact driver, and the set comes in a sturdy case that keeps everything organized.Overall, this is a great all-around drill bit set for both professionals and DIYers who want performance and long life out of their bits.

    Worth the money. Highly recommended
I would give a 10 star review if I could. I love Milwaukee tools and this just reinforces that. Used them in both metal and wood. Outstanding. Worth the money. Highly recommended.

So Handy!! These are a must have for your impact driver
I got these after reading reviews. They are great. What I LOVE is the container they come in. It’s a display case, and to remove a bit from the front row, you pull it up and then it pops right out. When you seat it back in (standing up) and press it back to laying down, it’s fixed in place. They don’t fall out, and they are easy to get out and put away. This may sound silly, but in the past, it was a bit of a struggle to force bits in and out of their containers.

These are good bits. I’ve used them for the last few months and not had any break. I’ve also somehow managed not to lose any of them: I don’t know if that’s my dumb luck or a function of Milwaukee’s superior engineering, but I’m glad for it whichever it is.

    These don’t break!
I had previously purchased some hex shank drill bits that were very cheap.Don’t do that.On my first use a cheapo drill bit, the shank came out of the hex base because it was just pressed in. Ugh.These drill bits on the other hand have been phenomenal and have held up a lot of use I highly recommend them! The construction of the shank into the hex base is solid as a tank.

My main goal in purchasing these is during my wood working, when I need to drill a couple pilot holes, so I can then put in a couple anchor screws, before I add the rest of the pilot holes. This involves me switching to the drill bit, then back to the screw bit, then back to the drill bit, and finally back to the screw bit.I’ve built a number of projects where I’ve had to do this. It was aggravating, and spurred me to purchase these expensive bits. And, when paired with a quick bit holder, I can pop in my new drill bit, take it out and pop in the screw bit. It works really well, although the drill bit is a bit wobbly. It works well enough though. So far, I’ve drilled wood and 2mm steel without any problems. This set also has a goo range of sizes. The only negative really is the case is very stiff. I can’t remove the bits with my fingers. If you get this, I recommend you use pliers to remove the bits a few times until the holes loosen up.
