Was skeptical at 1st but after hooking up and using it I love it for the price. Audio ain’t the best but I expected that. Easy and quick setup to wifi, Bluetooth, Netflix, etc. Picture quality is good. Easy picture size adjustmentSide not Remote does not come with batteries. Will need 2 AAA.

I really liked this projector because it offers a sharp image and vibrant colors, ideal for movies, video games, or presentations. The screen improves brightness and contrast, and it’s easy to set up and transport. It connects easily to various devices, and its built-in sound is surprisingly good. Worth it
Has great sounds, good quality picture, easy setup. Only reason I marked it 4 stars is because the only apps it had was Netflix and YouTube. I went to the app store on the project and it does not give the option to download Hulu, ESPN, discovery and a few other apps we. You can connect Bluetooth to it and stream it but that minor inconvenience, nothing major.

Excellent Experience
We bought this Tecaki projector mainly for casual use at home—movie nights with the kids, the occasional game night—and it’s worked out really well so far. The setup was straightforward, even for someone like me who’s not very tech-savvy. It connected to Wi-Fi quickly, and we were able to stream Netflix without needing to plug in a laptop or anything, which was a big plus.The picture quality is surprisingly clear. We usually use it in the living room with the lights dimmed, and the image looks sharp and bright enough for our needs. The sound is okay from the built-in speaker—enough for a small room—but we sometimes connect a Bluetooth speaker when we want better audio.What I really like is how compact and lightweight it is. We’ve moved it around the house a few times, even took it to my sister’s place for a family gathering. It’s easy to adjust the angle, and we don’t need a fancy setup—just a blank wall or a white sheet works fine.Overall, it’s become something the whole family enjoys using.

Just a toy – but fun toy – with great support
Update:After I post review about this projector and express my disappointment with product description discrepancy, I was contacted by Tecaki support. They read my review and act fast. And fair.First, they updated description on Amazon to reflect actual specs.Then, they offered me new projector with advertised specs AND full refund. That means having upgraded projector free of charge. As apology. And I did not even complain to them.That level of support deserves 5 star – you can count on resolving any issues. They wrote: “We value your trust in us and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction.” – and they are backing this with swift and concrete action.Way to go, Tecaki support!Bellow is my initial review. I can add that I did connected projector to WiFi and Netflix. Works flawlessly.First time that I bought this portable cheap projector. Main disappointment was founding that native resolution is not FHD, but HD ready (720) – according to supplied paper manual. They advertise this as 1920×1080 native resolution. They even wrote that twice. And I pick up this unit over some other just for that reason – how naive… Do not believe everything that is written. If it looks same as others, it is same as others. As for item itself, I haven’t use all features of this projector yet, I just power it to see if it is working. From this brief experience I saw that you need full dark room for viewing. It does not support number of codecs from USB stick files, but new ones will play. USB stick have to be FAT32 as it does not recognise exFAT file system. Also, subtitle page code can be set, and it is working correctly – until you rewind movie. Then code page is lost and have to be set again. Not so if you fast forward… Angle is set in steps, so sometimes you will slide something under it for fine adjustment…I haven’t test WiFi, BT headphones did connect without issue, and picture is far from TV quality. Even this not-FHD issue is not annoying as you can not see difference on this picture quality level. Anyhow, this is toy projector and one have to set expectations accordingly. On positive side, it does it’s job. I have watched full movie and it’s kind of fun. Beats watching smart phone screen when it comes to movies. If you have power, some white wall and darkness at hand…

Great picture
We ordered this projector so we could do outside movie nights with the children. It arrived fast, was very easy to use and set up.The picture quality was great. Easy to use and the price was great! The size isnt bulky and love that it can be pointed in different directions and used to view on the ceiling! We had a great night watching this! Definitely recommend!!

Great projector! I liked that the setup was super easy—just plugged it in and pressed power—and I was watching shows in minutes. The picture quality is great, bright and very clear with an easily adjustable focus. I also liked that the projector auto adjusted the projection dimensions (though you can still adjust it manually to fine/tune it).The projector is also very stable. Won’t tip easily, and is also very easily to manipulate the angle of the camera. Remote is very convenient and easy to navigate.The built in speaker actually sounds decent (not tinny), but I love that I can connect my Bluetooth speaker to the projector when I want to instead. The fan inside the projector is also not nearly as loud as some other models I’ve seen. I love that Netflix and YouTube are integrated in the projector. Other ones I have had, I had to purchase a Google chrome cast to make it work.Perfect gift for my niece to use for her university dorm room.

This is a quality projector and right out of the box it is a breeze to set up. The user interface walks you through just a few short steps to setup the projector and because the apps are built in it only takes minutes to get to your favourite streaming service. I cannot say enough good things about the great wifi performance and ease of use of the built in programming.The projector has its own operating system that includes all of the most popular streaming apps as well as an app store that made it easy to watch programs within minutes of unboxing. The remote is laid out with easy to use quick buttons to popular apps like Netflix, Youtube, and Prime Video. The built in system also has an open browser that is quick and responsive to allow you to find any apks that are not found in the app store.The brightness of the projector is about what you would expect for a projector at this price point. It may be a bit brighter than others I have seen, but you will still need a darker room to really appreciate the fine details of what you are watching. The focus is easy to adjust and the screen size reduces down to 50 percent of the standard screen size which was the perfect size for my smaller space.The projector also offers 4 point keystone correction so that I did not need to place the projector in a straight line position to the screen. 4K play back also worked well and the projector managed the higher level with no issue.It is also very light weight and portable with the built in apps there is no need for an additional stick or video device so when positioning the projector you only need to work with the power cable which is a good length and is angled so that I could place the projector very close to the wall.

Been using the Tecaki X5 for a few days now and honestly — it was such a good buy!I mainly wanted a projector that could stream Netflix without plugging in extra devices, and this one does just that. It has a built-in system, so I just turn it on and start watching. Super convenient, and the interface is smooth and easy to navigate.The electric focus and auto-keystone correction are really handy. Just a click and it adjusts everything for you — perfect for lazy evenings. I usually place it by the bed and project onto the wall or even the ceiling. The image is sharp, bright enough in a dark room, and great for movies or shows.I paired it with a Bluetooth speaker and the sound feels way more immersive — like a mini home theater. The projector is great for casual use, the tilted stand is handy but I do wish it wasn’t so clunky when you change angles. It is easy to operate, has Bluetooth and a headphone jack. It also has speakers but they are just okay. I’m on my second one, my first one froze after an update and stopped working, but dealing with customer service was a pleasant surprise. Very helpful, quick to reply and sorted out my issues (which ended up meaning sending me a new one)Overall, perfect for casual movie or TV viewing, very portable, great price and great customer service.
