The speaker holder fits snug around the speaker. And the plug is square against the outlet. Coiling the wire takes some patience. I am happy with this purchase.

This unit works as advertised. It’s self supporting once you install it in the wall, and it even disappears from sight if your HomePod mini is the same color as this.

Well designed – looks nice too
This device optimized to hang in the top outlet and cover the entire outlet face. This device is not designed to have the HomePod mini above the outlet.If you are like me, you don’t want to waste an outlet. If you hang this from the lower outlet, the small gap behind the HomePod mini will act as a small lever that will pull the outlet away from the wall a small bit.This is easily remedied by adding a rubber bumper (found in the hardware aisle in any hardware store) behind the unit.

Great to use without touch it
The product is great! But if you touch the HomePod mini, the holder might move down

Black is best if used with black speakers
Black is best if used with black speakers.The clear plastic ones just look too “dollar store” for my taste. The black ones look pretty good and you forget that they are even there. Oh wonderful options for getting speakers up off the counter. I do wish they held them more securely. You really have to wrap the cable very intentionally, and then treat them carefully so that your speakers don’t fall out.

It’s actually pretty good
Pretty straight forward and easy to set up. Wish it allowed a way to position the HomePod at an angle however to help with sound. It does take away some bass from HomePod.

Not stable hanging from outlet
Too loose hanging from the outlet. I would have returned it but I ripped up the box. Amazon has had better outlet hanger designs in the past.

The item functions as described and is overall fit for use – I am in Australia though and we had to heat up the mount in the sun to allow the wall plug to fit in. Regardless it does hold the HomePod Mini perfectly but I have refrained from buying more due to the plug size issue.

Ordered the US-plug version based on other reviews, but the AU plug doesn’t quite fit. Took a bit of force to get it about half way, which is more than strong enough to hold up the homepod, but looks a bit weird.
