Telecom builder’s first choice. Best switch for the money
I love these switches. I have used these in several telecom builds over the years and this is my go to switch. They are easy to setup and program if needed. The quality and reliability are outstanding. As a general rule I always buy a second one in case of a failure, however I haven’t had to use them yet. They provide great speed and stable power.

Quality product
Very good quality product from Netgear. It came with mounting straps and hardware with the instructions. I’m supposed to drill a couple of holes into the bottom of the case to use. I’m not drilling holes in the bottom of a switch. I think Netgear could’ve pre-drilled those and saved me a lot of heartache.

I’m powering two exterior and one interior commercial cameras through this PoE switch. Netgear makes excellent equipment and this is no exception. Plus in and use its that easy!

this was a good purchase for me at the time…I don’t like that it is only 1 gigabit per second when my whole house is running 10gb/s but it worked.I’m mostlikely going to replace it so my whole house runs at 10gbs with a Ubiquity switch…more expensive but I need the speedIt does work exactly like it should though so I can’t fault them for that

Glad to Receive my new Switch, But…
Solid construction, looks like a sleek version of CISCO pro-grade routers and switches. Unboxing, there is no instruction pamphlet, or “Switch Discovery Tool,” and the power supply is very dusty — not preteen and new looking. I wiped the PS down with a damp cloth, and it looks fairly new, as I expected.The switch itself is sealed and appears to be new. I’m not sure what I have here, but I’m going to attempt the installation and let you know in a follow-up message.Update: Switch is up and running for days now—all good! I feel like it has improved the performance of my whole network—love it. Can’t explain why it arrived with a dusty, less than pristine power supply and no instructions.

I needed PoE and Gigabit Ethernet but otherwise didn’t need to much sophistication. This worked perfectly for two video cameras for the video streaming, power and PTZ, all over Ethernet. Maybe the ones that cost 4 times the cost of this offer something – but whatever they offer isn’t something I need! This works great.

No issues with the switch itself, but the external PSU failed after about 3 months. Replaced the PSU and all working again..
