Great for Supporting Home Theater Surround Speakers
The Perlegear speaker wall mounts are well-made (mostly metal construction) and heavy duty. It comes with instructions and necessary hardware (lag screws) for attaching unit to studs on wall. This product was overkill for my small home theater surround speakers which weighed only 8 pounds each; per the instructions, it can support up to 55 pounds. Used the lag screws and mounted the bracket on the wall, which had a 2×8 board behind the drywall and provided the necessary support. The speakers where secure and the swivel mount allowed for lateral adjustments and a slight vertical adjustment (few degrees, allowing speakers to point down a little). Nicely designed product. Very strong and look great!
These mounts are amazing. They are super strong and once you put them in a stud I felt like I could do pull-ups on them. They will easily hold bookshelf speakers. I bought two pairs for an Auro 3d setup and they look great and removed all my fear of the soeakers falling.Will definitely buy again if I ever need to wall mount more bookshelf speakers.

Easy install into wall studs. Unit is extremely sturdy and holds my Elac Debut 3.0 DB63 speakers securely. I am using the mounts to hold Atmos height channels on the wall near the ceiling and increased the tilt angle by placing foam pads near the rear of the speaker. Clamps tighten down securely. Highly recommend.

Works like a charm. And CAN be used on drywall.
Solid, sturdy, sleek, and does the job. The trick is to use the proper anchors. Weird that it states to not use these on drywall. Why? They can be used on drywall as long as you use anchors, preferably steel self-drilling anchors or toggle bolt anchors for 50lbs+. These have the best tilt, at 15 degrees, as opposed to the others at 7.5 degrees. Makes them a great choice for mounting height/overhead speakers in a Dolby Atmos rig, since speakers have to be facing the main listening position (MLP). Very happy customer 😀
