Great drip coffee maker with built in grinder!
This DRIP coffee maker is great! We looked for six months for a coffee maker that had a built in grinder and removable water reservoir. We visited several stores that carried high end coffee makers but they all focused on espresso makers. We really wanted one that had the removal water reservoir and also was quiet with the built-in grinder. We are on our third month and it makes great coffee and having the screen tell us when our water is almost empty and when beans needed added is also a great plus. One of our best purchases ever made off of Amazon!

Bad Product
This is a very expensive coffee maker and it does not have a warmer plate so the coffee won’t stay hot longer than an hour or two.

Great coffee with slight learning curve
Makes a great cup of coffee. The beans do not automatically feed. Even when the hopper is full the machine will pause and flash add beans. You open the hopper and push them closer to the grinder. The basket for the single serve does not sit in the filter compartment correctly. The lever – slider that goes from pot to single serve can be a little challenging. The machine gets confused. I find it easier to just brew a small pot, 4 cups. I like The water reservoir can brew two full 10 cup pots. Cleaning is simple with the provided brush. There is a feature called last time to brew. It displays how long since you brewed the pot. It really does brew a great cup of coffee. There will be a slight leaning curve. Hope this helps.

Profile vs. Breville. Profile Wins!!!!
Very happy with my new Profile coffee maker! I’ve been a long time user of the Breville grinder-maker. Went through 2 in 10 years. The Brevelle was high maintenance and quirky. So this time I tried the Profile. SO GLAD I DID!!!! The design is superior! It also makes great coffee! Well worth the money! The wide mouth on the pot makes for easy cleaning!My one disappointment is the max capacity of 10 cups. I would have preferred 12 cups. Still, a great machine with great features.

Poor engineering
I replaced my Gevi with this and am disappointed. I wanted to have a built in grinder and the ability to brew bold coffee. Coffee brews bold with ground coffee but is weaker with beans. It has a sleek looking design but, functionally, it’s mediocre. I had trouble figuring out how to close the basket. It takes an upward gentle push once I figured it out, it works fine. The carafe leaks from the spout while pouring so I need a paper towel every time I pour so it doesn’t leak down the carafe. You can’t get the last bit of coffee without removing the cover and turning the carafe upside down. Removing the basket after brewing for cleaning is messy because there is still brewed coffee that didn’t make it to the carafe. The cover of the carafe has a clunky fit that requires trial and error to seal every time. In summary, ok coffee brewing with poor design.

UPDATE: It’s a Leaker first time, second had defect!
Started leaking out the bottom about 2 weeks after receiving! Thought it was condensation, but it kept getting worse, and probably a fire hazard. Ended up contacting GE, since the return window had passed. They would not replace it until I went through a process which, eventually, they will send a box to return it THEN replace it! Thank goodness we kept the “Old Faithfull” Cuisinart machine!!! Wife would have a fit without morning coffee. We’ll see what happens, eventually, with the replacement. Clearly NOT the GE product of old!!!UPDATE: So … GE replaced the leaker with a new unit. After just two weeks the new one started displaying “OVERTEMP” and not doing anything else!!!! Now in process of returning the second unit and getting a full refund. Well, at least they send a FedEx label and apparently box to return it. You couldn’t give me one of these after my experience!!!

The filter basket close is unnecessarily finicky. Otherwise it works very well and brews a good cup of coffee.

Finally a brewing system worth the money
As a big coffee drinker, I go through alot of pots, the last one lasted 3 months. Finally found this one.Craftsmanship is good. A large reservoir is great and the components are tight fitting and easy to manipulate. Connect to WIFI? Easy with the app (nothing better than starting coffee while sitting in bed. No real drawback, but the messaging system needs revamped: large clunky scrolling messages seem out of place on such a quality product. Get one for yourself, you’ll like using it!
