SOLID!
SOLID! It’s a heavy and heavy duty piece of kit. The centering pin wasn’t properly placed for my accessory but it’s spring loaded so it didn’t matter. It’s a quality piece of hardware and I would not hesitate to recommend it. I’ve changed my opinion about Neewer. My first couple of purchases of their gear were made strictly on the basis of price. Now, if I see they make an item that fits the category I’m researching I will buy it because I know I can expect exceptional quality.

Easy to use mount
Holds a small monitor well and tightens down easily to the point it doesn’t move. What more can you ask? Oh, it’s easily and quickly adjustable too. Another surprisingly good Neewer accessory.

Works for most, but not for all…
Ordered three of these for my various field monitors. This worked perfectly for 2 of the three monitorsetups. Had to use a workaround for the third. Construction is solid. I prefer the manual tightening versus the friction style due to my own trust issue, so these fit my purpose being the least expensive option.I believe these work for 99% of field monitors out there, but for an older Atomos ninja Blade, there was a small fitment problem. The actual 1/4-20 mount screw was too long, and would bottoming out before the mount fit snugly against the monitor bottom – resulting in the monitor spinning freely on the mount. (See my review video)For my other monitors, the fitment was perfect. Not sure if this was an issue with the shallow mounting hole of the Ninja Blade, or the long mount screw on the Neewer mount. Either way, a washer helped to alleviate the problem.4/5 stars only because Atomos is a popular long-standing brand in field monitoring and recording. I would think their QC testing would include Atomos monitors – big miss if not.

Works great and is one of the best options for the Viltrox D550 Pro
I go this cold shoe and the ARRI version for my Viltrox D550 Pro. The mount that came with it was sturdy but had zero adjustment. No tilt or swivel. I tried a few other but the locator pins would be on the right side and when faced the right way would have the tilt know on the left. This doesn’t work with the Viltrox monitors since the knob is now in the way of the HDMI In port. These two versions fir exactly what I needed.Here is a pic of both cold shoe and Arri versions showing how well they work.

The mount feels expensive and really worth for the price, i can’t see why someone would pay more when there is this one cheap and high quality.The mount installation is easy and fast so unmounting and mounting makes it easy

Muy buena construcción. Se trata de un clónico del modelo de Smallrig, pero lo supera incluso en un detalle no menor: se puede apretar y desapretar el tornillo que controla el giro vertical del dispositivo. En el modelo de Smallrig no se puede; hay que conformarse con la palometa.
