2 years later and still going strong
After building a new patio we realized we needed speakers. These Pyle speakers seemed like a good solution at a reasonable price. Usually I go with more recognizable brands in Audio like Polk or something, but weather proof systems get so expensive.Out of the box these are so simple and easy to set up. I had these mounted and plugged in in less than 15 minutes. Hooked these up to an outdoor smart plug to easily turn on and off since the switch is on the back of the speaker. I was very impressed with the sound output of these considering they are only rated at 20W per speaker. We can easily hear the music the full length of our bocce ball court. Super easy to connect to either a phone or an Echo device. The bluetooth range is great. We have ours connected to our Echo Dot in our bedroom about 60 ft away and rarely have any connection issues.2 years later and the only issue is a bit of rust on the grill and the bracket. I just popped the grill off, washed it and repainted it and now they look brand new again. They still sounds great and neither speaker cone or tweeter looked like they’d worn much despite being exposed to coastal California weather every day.I just bought another set to add to our new deck. These are so reliable with good output for anything outdoors.

Good little speakers at an affordable price, but not quite perfect.
On the upside, the sound quality is superb, and the ability to be able to Bluetooth audio to it is definitely a plus. However, the quality of the manufacturing of the product leaves a lot to be desired. On the main speaker where all of the audio and power connections are made, the power connector that plugs into it the connector on the back of the speaker has a tendency to come apart very easily. The first set of speakers I purchased, the power connector literally came apart in my hand. Fortunately, a little Locktite 242 in the appropriate places seem to clear up the problem. Also the female power connector on the back of the main speaker came apart partially. Once I had put it back together though, it was fine afterwards. The other quality issue I have are the over sized, cheap, speaker connections that would normally accommodate 14 AWG speaker wire as opposed to the provided 22 AWG speaker wire. This maybe just a personal preference issue, but I prefer either RCA connections or direct wire connections for the sake of simplicity, and ease of installation. This would also include the 3.5 mm audio input connection. The newer version of this speaker (Pyle PDWR53BTBK) would be the better way to go in my opinion.

Great Speakers
These speakers are bad ass. So far, no issues at all. Very easy to set up and mount. No issues at all with the Bluetooth connection. These speakers are very loud, lots of power, and sound great, clean and clear.

Mostly good, but bring your own wire.
Works well right out of the box with no issues. Bluetooth pairing was a breeze. I placed our speakers on our porch at one end with one speaker unit near an existing outlet.Good sound overall. Reasonable value. Time will tell regarding outside humidity and longevity.Bring Your Own speaker Wire because the silly little 16 gauge wire that comes with the product is completely useless. It’s so thin that the bare wire is literally clipped/shredded off the threaded terminal post when you tighten the caps. Way too cheap for a product that’s this expensive. What did they save vs. one gauge thicker? 10 cents? Plus it ruins the experience and makes me not want to try another Pyle product in the future.

It’s really cheap made crap, passive speaker doesn’t work at all, L and R side are both opposite according to the simple manual the active speaker should be R but has a L label and passive speaker should have an L label but has a R label. The only one which works is the active speaker but very poor quality, the connecting wire is thin as a hair and cut’s itself each time you try to tighten the nuts and even the brandlabels are not lined correctly, although the price isn’t very high you may at least expect 2 working speakers with a sturdy wire+connectors. A really bad experience, I wouldn’t recommend them and will send it back for all mentioned reasons

240 W me paraissent pas du tout réaliste mais la qualité son est vraiment pas mal pour peu qu’on passe via un équalizer ou d’avoir un bon controle de tonalité sur l’appli Buetooth. Le pairage fonctionne bien. Avec le recul, si il y a plus puissant je le conseille mais la qualité du son est franchement tres correcte.
