Overall good camera just wish it came in black with faster fps
This is a large camera especially with solar panel so don’t expect to place it discretely. You can turn off the status light so that’s a plus. Also, this one came in white and yes I painted it a matt black using Rustoleum professional series spray with no issues just take your time, cover things up that don’t need to be painted and do light sprays and several coats letting it dry between. I’ve done this with numerous brand cameras but make sure it works great for say a week before doing so. Reolink even states you can paint but obviously run a risk with warranty if you just soaked it in paint so test you paint on some paper first. With that said overall it is a good camera. Motion track works pretty good. Max framerate is only 15 fps on this model so you will get some blur(i.e. ghosting) if say someone runs by it really fast or rides by it on an off-road vehicle. Daytime, animals can walk by and it remains clear. Night time I believe the fps may drop slightly as it will blur if they are walking by like a fox. Zoom lens is I would say ok, not great but not bad either. The lights on this thing will light up a very large area and are very bright. I have used it for over a month now and have a mix of sun and shade throughout day from trees but still remain at 100% battery. I use this primarily as a game camera and using hardwired outdoor wifi units (POE not wifi backhaul) I can set it up 200-300 yards away and still get decent response times.

    worth every penny
good product, easy install and setup, resolution was surprisingly good, did need to install a range extender, price was not bad for what this camera system does, definitely will purchase another camera, nothing gets by this system, tracking is really good,

I’ve got two and just ordered three more.
So far they are great. They have great wifi connection, very clear 4k video with excellent zoom, and the tracking feature is very good. The night vision is one of the best I’ve seen and it has a 30 month warranty with registration.

Nice idea, Not practical in some cases, Not recomended for important use.
Better than nothing if no continuos power available, sense of motion and camera recording works sometimes, not always. If possible – go with a poe camera and record everything on a local NVR No Practical live view or Continuos recording due to battery life. if you must get , suggest getting the reolink 12w solar panel add on and the solar extention cable. the 6w panel included may look good on paper, but in real world use the camera never charges more than it uses with this, eventually dies, the 12w panel sofar overcomes this and imo reolink should drop the 6w panel and include the 12w. even if it costs more. I will keep until I can wire a poe system.

    Buy with confidence
I purchased 2 of these a couple months ago as I was switching from Arlo. These are far superior to the Arlo brand. App is much more stable. I have found the solar panel does a nice job of keeping the camera battery charged. The only challenge I have faced is getting the sensitivity correct to where it picks up people in certain areas of coverage, but also not picking up bugs as they fly by. After some tweaking, I have finally got it dialed in.I went with the Solar Wifi setup as I didn’t want to deal with running wires or charging battery’s. I did order gutter mount solar panel adapters from another seller, so I would recommend that as it does give the panel a cleaner appearance. I did opt to go with the hub and I do not regret that purchase either. Overall, I am very satisfied and now that I am confident in the quality, I am going to purchase additional cameras for greater coverage. After using these, it made me realize how far behind Arlo was in the camera game.

    Fantastic
I am extremely happy with it I typically never write reviews but this was a pretty easy install and once you charge the camera fully and deploy it with a solar panel it does a very good job.. the video encoding is excellent and a 512 GB storage card will give you an adequate amount of storage for a huge amount of time. The camera clarity in the dual camera mode is excellent for far away and up close it gives you the best of both worlds. The night vision is excellent. Intend to buy another one of these.

    Excellent camera
This camera is mounted at our business. It’s sole purpose it to deter people from dumpster diving at night. The siren and LED seem to be doing It’s job! The solar panel is keeping the battery charged, but barely. We get a LOT of people around the dumpsters, and we log in frequently to check, so it’s being used quite a bit.

I’ve been using Reolink products for a decade now and I’ve always been satisfied with the value & quality of their cameras. This TrackMix 4K solar security camera has really nice video quality in daytime and really good night time also.It was easy adding the camera on my phone via the Android APP.It has dual camera’s, one wide angle gives you a large view of my entire backyard, while the telephoto lens zooms in on things it’s tracking. On the APP each lens has it’s own video feed that you can view. The smart tracking works really good on people and pets also. Since it’s setup in our backyard we don’t have any car traffic but it also has vehicule tracking. The advantages of a battery solar powered security camera is that you can set it up anywhere and you don’t need to run network cable or plug it to a power outlet. Also you camera will keep working even during a power outage as long as your battery has a charge.Another big advantage of Reolink is that they don’t force you into a subscription and spend money monthly to be able to fully use the camera and all it’s features.Yes they offer cloud recording but you can also use a Reolink NVR or Hub, setup your own “NVR” on computer and use the PC software and finally record locally on a SD card.If you need a solar security camera with great video quality, PTZ capabilities and not be tied down to a subscription model, the Reolink TrackMix is probably one of the best quality & value you can get.

5 out of 5A new aspect of design with some great features . This 4k PTZl dual lens camera with 160 degree field of view, 256g optional storage 2.4 or 5 ghz wifi and colour night vision sounds like a deal. Especially with it’s new upgraded solar panel and larger battery offering even more bang for you’re buck. This along side a 2 tear zoom design that offers police and law enforcement better chances of facial recognition. The feature set:One 8mp lensone 5mp lens designed to zoom into the frameCOLOR NIGHT VISION:x vision clear ( high ISO ) 2025 version with much less noise and higher fidelityinfraredinfrared LED lights unveil all night details up to 20 feet.detection algorithmSMART DETECTION & TWO-WAY AUDIO: Smartly detect person/car/animal movements from other objects, reducing false alarms. Plus, time-lapse condenses long-term events into minutes, facilitating easy observation of transformations. With all this out of the way, the camera itself really does offer a great field of view from head to toe. The 3d unwrapping feature helps the app see undistorted lines and shapes. Providing you with a more true to life view of a person or object. Having a remote view of someone at you’re door step really adds a sense of security and peace of mind. I never thought it would be so useful until I installed this little gem. Now I see when my amazon packages arrive and Who’s driving the vehicle. I can talk to the person directly or leave messages that will chime when needed. I can see the uber eats delivery guy arrive so I am ready to greet him. I see when my family and friends come for a visit unexpectedly. It really is amazing how I’ve missed out all these years of not having this security feature installed.Final thought; 5 out of 5The back door is always a source of anxiety since it’s the second point of entry to you’re home. Keeping this in mind most back entry ways aren’t visible from inside you’re domicile. With this dual lens camera you can finally put those worries to rest. With fantastic picture quality, 2 way communication, auditory alert, night vision, remote viewing in app and 2 way storage options. This is a must have tool in you’re security arsenal.

I’m blown away by the function and features of this security camera. We’ve installed this one on our rural driveway, It’s ideal because we have no other power source for this location. With person, vehicle, and pet detection and notification, we’re alerted to anyone or anything coming up our drive, including bears and moose. The range is extremely good, picking up our Wi-Fi signal almost 200 feet away. The camera resolution is also great, giving us further range than expected during the night. The app doesn’t have a subscription, and the camera has a micro SD card slot, making this the perfect security camera in my opinion. The app is fairly intuitive and easy enough to learn, and I appreciate that I can use my smart TV for viewing. The fact that this system is expandable, allowing me to control several cameras from one app, has me considering purchasing a couple more units for complete coverage on our property.Overall, I’d give this camera 6 stars if I could.

The camera tracks movement smoothly, offers clear 4K video day and night, and the solar panel keeps it powered without frequent charging, making it convenient for outdoor monitoring.I still prefer wired solutions though. Battery cameras like this one don’t record continuously and at a high bit rate. There has to be a tradeoff somewhere for reduced power consumption.

I have a detached garage, and setting up cameras there was quite a hassle. Although the Wi-Fi reaches, the power outlet in the garage is poorly positioned. This camera perfectly fills that gap.Installation is a breeze; just place the panel in a sunlit area, and you’re all set. I haven’t experienced any issues with the battery draining completely, but that’s to be expected in summer. This will really be tested in winter, and I’ll update my review then as well.Regarding image quality, it definitely matches other brands available in stores. While the zoom is merely a digital crop, it still provides a sufficiently clear image when necessary. Having one image zoomed in while the other lens captures a wide shot is fantastic. It allows you to keep the crucial elements in focus while maintaining a general view of everything else.
