Works well upon delivery
It gets hot fast. It has good burst of steam and spray. It is heavy so it irons better without me having to push down hard. It’s attractive looking. No leaks upon first use. The steel plate is smoothe and glides over fabric nicelyToo early to tell how it will perform in the long run. What I didn’t like, was that they sent in in the on position, the hottest setting too. Stupid me, i didnt check it because no one leaves an iron on. So I got it out of the box, plugged it in and began to fill the water reservoir. I grabbed the iron to tilt it into position and burned my fingers badly. Who would’ve thought? I haven’t used it enough yet to observe the auto shut off.

Great iron!
Reason I went w/Rowenta again is because my old Rowenta lasted me almost 17 years! Although it still worked, it took forever to heat up. This new Rowenta is great. Heats up in no time! I love the color. Some say it’s hard to see water level but i just fill it as normal and dump it after use (leaving water in makes iron lasts less time). This Rowenta only lacks one thing that i liked about my old one ….it does not have the rubber stops on the bottom for when you sit the iron it makes it more stable. First couple of times i used it, it did drip a bit of water but now it’s good to go. Buy it for $50…it’s worth it!

Terrible product
This iron is terrible. It’s impossible to fill the water without spilling it everywhere and you can’t manually adjust the temperature. It’s too hot for delicate clothing. Also the only way to turn it off and on is by unplugging it. Will be returning this item.

It spits more than my pet llama
Okay, I don’t actually have a pet llama, but if I did, this iron would spit the most between the two. I tested this out on some cotton shirts and a few linen shirts, and while it made generous amounts of steam and just bulldozered all the wrinkles, every time I lifted it from what I was ironing, either to stand it or reposition, it spits copious amounts of water all over what I was ironing.Thinking that this was a case of user error I carefully read the instructions but they didn’t offer much help. To ensure it wasn’t overfilled I continued to iron until it ran out of steam but it still spit when lifted.I’m of two minds about keeping this or sending it back. Except for the spitting (and lack of a “Rayon” setting as our previous iron had for my Hawaiian shirts), it’s a very nice iron with great steam and a nice nose for getting into tight spots. I’m just worried about it causing water spots and stains on some fabrics.

Awesome iron especially for the price!
I’ve had this iron now for about 3 weeks and use on a daily basis for work clothes. This iron is AWESOME, especially for being $40. Just an FYI, there have been reviews saying it ruined people’s clothes. You have to adjust it to the proper material setting. If you have it on cotton and try to iron a synthetic shirt, it will melt right thru it. User error doesn’t mean it’s a bad product! Plenty of steam, easy to fill with water and works great on all materials. Yes, it’s a little difficult to see the water level due to the color of the water tank, but it is a very minor issue. My previous iron was a Rowenta Pro Master that I paid $90 for and so far, this one works just as well. Highly recommend.

Bought this as a replacement for an older Philips Iron that was purchased many years back. The pump for the steam and spray stopped working so it was due for an upgrade. This neat iron has many steam holes on it and pointed under plate which make it super easy to use. The functions are simple and easy to use. No issues so far with this iron and it works perfectly for basic ironing. I do wish that the water compartment was bigger or didn’t run out as quickly but that could be something I am doing wrong. Otherwise for the price point you cannot go wrong with this!

Not working as expected. When plugged, a foul smell of burnt wire comes and some sound “poc-poc” . I’m not using it being afraid of not causing short cut of electricity. And is not ironing as described, when I’ve tried it first time. Waste of money
