Great drive to consolidate multiple other backups, insanely good price/capacity
This drive is great – not the fastest, but for backups, it has allowed me to consolidate multiple other drives onto one devices, simplifying my setup and honestly – the price point for 20TB is insanely good. It works exactly as expected, setup was trivial – so far all good !!!

    Works Perfectly and Super Reliable!
I just bought this Seagate 5TB portable drive, and in only two days I’ve already transferred 1TB of files, photos and videos, without any issues. Everything loads perfectly and runs smoothly. The setup was fast, and it works great with my computer. I’m still using it and feeling very happy with the purchase. Definitely worth it if you need a lot of storage that’s easy to use and dependable!

Great External Hard Drive Storage for the Mac
I bought 2 of these for my 2020 iMac 27 inch. One is for my photos library and the other is strictly for running Time Machine. Probably way more storage than I needed, but am figuring that these external hard drives can grow with me + they were an excellent value at the price point. Down the road, I might add other files (apart from my system photo library), to one of them, but for now I have regained so much free space back on the Mac. Easy to format and use via Disk Utility. Might buy another at a later date for my music collection. RECOMMEND

Fast, Reliable, and Easy to Use — Exactly What I Needed
This external hard drive works perfectly straight out of the box. It’s fast, lightweight, and easily recognized by my PC and PlayStation without any setup. Transfer speeds are great for large files, and the design is slim enough for travel. The included Rescue Service is a reassuring bonus. Seagate continues to deliver reliability at a great price — ideal for backups, storage, or gaming.

    Good for a NAS build…
The external hard drive enclosure is slightly bigger than the actual hard drive itself. In my experience it has an okay speed. Not the fastest drive that I’ve used. The USB port is a normal usb-a 3.0 port so no usb-c. The power source has multiple adapters for people who would use it for their travels so no matter what kind of power outlet it present you should be okay. The design of the external case has openings to vent the heat coming from the actual hard drive inside. In terms of security, the drive is held in my rubber pads within the external enclosure that are surrounded by plastic tabs that hold it in.The external hard drive is a good choice to use for a NAS build if you are comfortable shucking the external case. The price is competitive when compared to a normal NAS internal drive. If you choose to go that route bear in mind that shucking the drive comes at the risk of voiding the warranty. Overall it’s decent and has been running well on my NAS.The okay speed on the drive is the limiting factor which is why it’s 4 out of 5 stars.Lastly the actual enclosure itself will still run other old drives if the ribbon cable and board aren’t damaged during the shucking process. Any old 3.5 internal drives would work perfectly to recycle and not throw out the remaining hardware.

Top‑Tier Capacity & Speed — Excellent Value from Seagate
I recently added the Seagate Expansion 22 TB External Hard Drive (model STKP22000400) to my storage setup, and it’s been fantastic so far. The sheer size—22 terabytes—is impressive and gives me enormous headroom for large files and drives from my drone work, video footage, and photo libraries. According to specifications, it offers fast transfers via USB 3.0 with compatibility for Windows and Mac.On the performance side, I’m impressed by how it keeps up even when moving huge files. The USB 3.0 interface ensures solid transfer speeds (especially helpful for raw video footage or large image sets) and the drag‑and‑drop setup is truly plug‑and‑play.Combine all this with a competitive price point (for 22 TB capacity) and you have a compelling storage solution. Highly recommended.

First Seagate HDD I don’t hate.
I usually avoid Seagate because I’ve had trouble with them in the past but the 28 TB on sale was too good to pass up on. It’s been working just fine with 4K video files and AI models. I’m impressed but the capacity and thinking about getting another. Not too loud and definitely fast.

What i like about this HDD is the stable transfer speed with power supply unlike other that are unstable transfer speed. Got few TB of data transferred at ease.Only thing that might be a down side is the sound created might be a nuisance but overall it works very well for my heavy data. Will be back if data exceed again!
