Packaging is imho ridiculous.First hdd arrived had bad sectors, sent it back.Main thing: is this a 7200rpm or 5400rpm drive? The title says 7200rpm but for what I read in the package it is 5400rpm.Really?This is false advertising.

Used this in a upgrade from 2TB WD Reds to 6TB drives in my NAS. As I couldn’t rely on WD drives being CMR I switched to Seagate and this one hit the sweet sport for spin speed, capacity, transfer rate and power consumption. The disk arrive well packaged; unlike the ones from a ‘discount’ seller (when their faulty drive is refunded I’ll buy another one from these guys).

Ich habe die Festplatte für mein Synology NAS als zweite HDD im Raid1 geholt und soll als Ausfallschutz einer weiteren Ironwolf dienen.Die Festplatte ließ sich problemlos montieren und ins NAS einbinden.Eine erste, schnelle Prüfung der SMART Werte und Ironwolf Health Test lief ohne Auffälligkeiten.Einzig die Angabe von 7200 U/min stimmt nicht. Laut Seagate dreht das Modell ST6000VN001 nur mit 5400 U/min. Da wusste ich aber bereits im Vorfeld und hat keinen Einfluss auf meine Bewertung.Der Preis von ca. 145€ (Stand Febr. 2023) ist OK.Geliefert wurde nur die Festplatte ohne Schrauben oder Zubehör.

Disco di ottima fattura, silenzioso e “fresco”.Montato su un Synology DS415+ in RAID-5 (3 dischi da 6TB), è andato a sostituire un disco di altra marca che è arrivato a fine vita. La riparazione dell’array è avvenuta in quasi 24 ore e non ho avuto alcun calo di prestazioni.Ho già ordinato un secondo disco da mettere in Hot Spare.Sono dovuto scappare dalla concorrenza “rossa” dopo aver preso una gran fregatura. Seagate è chiarissima sulla tipologia e le prestazioni dei propri dischi e sono soddisfatto dell’acquisto.Probabilmente quei pochi che si sono lamentati avranno beccato qualche pezzo difettoso (ahinoi, nessuno è perfetto).Consiglio l’acquisto.
