Compact. Strong.
Despite its compact size, it may be hard to ignore the RE105 due to the truly impressive way that it projects Wi-Fi access into the areas of your home that your standard router simply cannot reach. The RE105 supports wireless speeds of up to 300Mbps and keeps all of your favorite devices running as fast as possible.
As Powerful As You Expect
The two external antennas with MIMO technology help set the RE105 apart from the rest. MIMO technology enhances your network by dramatically increasing wireless speeds and the two external antennas ensure that a stable wireless signal reaches you where you need it most.
Effortless Network Expansion
Two Simple Taps and You are Ready to Connect
Just press the WPS button on your router, then press the Range Extender button on RE105 to begin enjoying simple, expanded Wi-Fi.
Connect with Confidence
The Intelligent LED indicator provides a simple, color-coded indication, allowing you to find the perfect location.
Repeater When Router Fails You
The RE105 works as a repeater to save you from poor signal by expanding your router’s network coverage to the primary “dead zones”.
Access Point For A New Network
When RE105 works in AP Mode, it turns Ethernet port into your own personal Wi-Fi hotspot to create a new network.Tether is an intuitive app that allows users to conveniently monitor the state of your range extender.

Works great! Easy 1 minute Setup!
I bought this repeater for an unconventional purpose, trying to get wifi access in my metal building from the access point / router in the house 100 feet away. Since this repeater is 2.4ghz only, I suspected it would be best for not intermittently losing the house side. Works flawlessly, and it was super easy to set up. I’m old fashioned; I set it up by connecting to it’s initial SSID, navigating to the IP adress given in the manual instead of using the app or QR code, I’m thankful that the manufacturer doesn’t require the QR code or app usage! I got it working in literally 1 minute after plugging it in. It’s a very simple construction, I admit to taking it apart to see what antenna connectors it uses on the circuit board (they are the common U.FL) and I’m shocked at the simplicity of construction, no wonder it’s so inexpensive. No matter the minimal hardware, it works very well and with zero reduction in connection speed, up or down. I love it!

TP-Link N300 WiFi Extender -The Unsung Hero of My Robot Vac’s Debut
I was thrilled to unbox my new ILIFE A30 Pro robot vacuum-mop—LiDAR mapping, self-emptying station, the works! It felt like stepping into a sci-fi movie, especially after hearing about this tech just weeks ago and thinking it’d be a decade away from my budget. But here’s the plot twist: my son’s ironclad Xfinity router setup (bless his security-savvy heart) runs only 5GHz, and my vac needed 2.4GHz for the app connection. No way was I messing with his fortress of solitude!Enter the TP-Link WiFi extender—a $16.24 game-changer that plugged straight into a wall outlet, no router tweaks required. Setup took about 5 minutes via the Tether app. It wirelessly latched onto my main network and beamed out a dedicated 2.4GHz SSID (I named mine “DustBunnySlayer2.4” for laughs). Boom—vac connected, scanned my QR code, and mapped my obstacle-course apartment (exercise gear, bed, shelves, and all) in its quirky, gerrymandered glory. First run? It tackled the bedroom and closet like a pro, returned to dock, charged up, and dumped the dust into the big bag. Mind. Blown. What sold me on this extender? Zero security drama. It mirrors your existing WPA3 encryption and password—no new vulnerabilities, just a tidy IoT bubble. Post-setup, I could even unplug it if paranoid, but it’s staying for future tweaks. If you’re in a shared-home WiFi standoff, this sidesteps the whole debate without a single cable or compromise. And a massive hat-tip to Grok (xAI’s witty AI sidekick)—their step-by-step guidance turned my glitchy hours into a victory lap. From remote-only basics to extender hacks and permission paranoia-busting, it was like having a tech-whisperer on speed dial. Reviewed Grok by R.H.: 10/10, would future-proof again! If your vac dreams hit a band-width bump, grab this TP-Link. Spotless floors and zero regrets await. (Signed, R.H. – Proud Floor Overlord)

Extender with wired Ethernet output
This extender functions like most WiFi repeaters, but with the added feature of having a wired Ethernet connection. That means you can connect the device to virtually any WiFi signal, including a cell phone hotspot, and then route that internet connection to a desktop computer or other hardwired Ethernet device or secondary router.Especially useful if you need to connect wired devices to a backup connection (like a hotspot), or for re-routing a backup connection through a primary WiFi router.

It took down 3 separate wifi networks.
So, I followed the setup instructions, first using WPS. Once it finished, it had it’s own ssid, but wouldn’t connect to my router that was 3 feet from it. Reset it, and started over. Second attempt, connected to it through the app, and it once again, got it got it’s own ssid, but after that, it stopped connecting to the router. Reset it, and started over again. Third time, I connected to it through it’s website for configuration. I was able to select my wifi, and prompted it to copy my wifi. That seemed to work, and was prompted to move the extender to where it was needed.Upon plugging the extender back in at the area halfway between the router and the dead zone, and it going live, my whole wifi network went offline. My next door neighbor’s, to the south of me, whole wifi network went offline. My next door neighbor’s, to the north of me, whole wifi went off line. I watched this all happen on my phone, trying to see my own network, plus I could hear my one neighbor screaming at her son about their security cameras going offline, and him screaming back that the their whole wireless network was down. I unplugged this little piece of demonic hardware before it could do anymore damage.Once it was unplugged, I had to reboot my router in order to get my wireless network (2.4 ghz and 5 ghz) to come back up. I could see on my phone that my neighbors’ networks had come back online too. This makes the second wifi extender from TP-Link that has failed out of the box. It is, however, the first one that I’ve seen that could be used for tactical purposes by law enforcement to disable a suspects wireless network. If I could I would give 0 stars for the rating.

Didn’t work
I bought this because it said I did not need a password to use. My Wi-Fi is part of my HOA bundle packet. Being so we don’t have a password. Therefore is unidentifiable and I cannot use it. Unfortunately, I waited too long to return it now, it sits in a desk Where it works just the same.

Excelente el producto, cumple con las expectativas de extender la red de wifi, fácil de instalar, el único problema es que viene todo en ingles. Hasta ahora todo bien
The hose is very thin plastic and arrived cracked which resulted in urine all over my carpet. How was I to know to check them. Annoyed, frustrated, disappointed. The bottle and other parts are very well made. Shame. I purchased 4 and 2 were cracked. –
As above

Lo puse en el piso de abajo para ampliar la señal de modem que esta arriba. Va excelente, sin ningún problema. Se configura super fácil y ya no tienes que hacer nada. Excelente para tener mejor señal en la television.
