Icewater Creek® –
ONE OF THE BEST LARGE CAPCITY AIR FRYERS OF 2025. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!
As die-hard Ninja brand fans, until Ninja customer service failed us in our first need for help, we were very challenged to find a good air fryer with a large capacity, durability, and operational options. After testing 10 large-capacity air fryers, our recommendation is the Typhur 8QT Sync Air Fryer with Wireless Meat Thermometer—the best on the market as of November 2025. We will never go back to Ninja after experiencing this company and its quality.Priced well for the quality, with fast heating times, ease of use, a rechargeable thermometer featuring a magnet charge base incorporated into the lid, and a digital display, offering great cooking capacity. Dishwasher safe, and easy to clean and operate.VERY QUIET. Phone alert application to remotely control your unit, with cook end notifications.Everything came out crispy, even, and has so many uses we can’t list them all. The only thing this unit does not do is pressure cook, as our Ninja® was 12-1, not 9-1, as in this unit, which is not a big sacrifice.SOLID BUY AS THEY COME, AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO AMAZING IN ANSWERING QUESTIONS, KIND DISPOSITION, AND BEING ACCOMMODATING TO POTENTIAL ISSUES IF YOU SHOULD EXPERIENCE ANY.

Easy Peasy!
This air fryer couldn’t be easier to use or clean for that matter. The temp probe makes cooking meat a breeze. Select type of meat, doneness, …. and hit the play button. Don’t forget to flip mid-point. T-Bone steaks come out perfectly done and chicken could not be easier. Bacon frying is stupid simple and the cleanup is 100 times easier than frying in a pan or baking in the oven. Great product, no complaints at all. Also the noise level is just above a whisper.

Worth it!
I’ve only had this air fryer for two weeks, so a 5-star review felt a bit premature, however, this air fryer is sweet! It has a roomier basket than my last air fryer, it goes up to 450 degrees, the basket tray fits snug, so it doesn’t fall out when you turn the basket over, it cooks fast and it comes with a wireless thermometer. It has an app with lots of tips and recipes, and it’s super quiet. I really really like this air fryer so far. There are only two things I found that may bug some people, these are; if you’re not using the app while cooking, you will need to be close to the machine to see the digital read out screen because it’s on the top of the device, And because this device is so quiet, you need to get close to it to actually hear that is running. Not much of a critique in my opinion, but I thought I would mention it.

Great product – – great roast chicken.
Wow – – very simple and makes a perfect roast chicken. I would say it is idiot proof but that might imply something about me – – LOL. It also works great as a traditional air frying plus the probe works on many other meats/items. Very easy to clean – – really great non-stick surface. I have the Typhur Dome 2 and they compliment each other insofar as what you can prepare.

Wow, Just Wow
Having already owned what I considered a top-of-the-line Philips air fryer, I was skeptical that anything could surpass it, but chose this item because I wanted a larger capacity appliance for use during the holidays, when my home is filled with visitors. To say that this appliance exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. I put it through its paces with multiple items, testing the various modes, and it did not disappoint. Please see my photos of the product user interface, as well as a whole chicken and a chuck roast prepared using the wireless thermometer, and some delicious dried apple slices I made using the dehydration setting. I also baked a bread pudding in the machine in much less time than would have been required in my oven, but had to stir it midway through the baking time, as its surface was browning too quickly.Pros: Easy to unpack and set up, use, and clean; Excellent and intuitive user interface; Optional but included app; Wireless thermometer ensures desired internal temperature of food met; Pre-programmed settings for selected foods; Wireless thermometer charges quickly; Preheat setting useful for some foods; Seems durable; Quiet.Cons: Basket is dishwasher safe, but a challenging fit (I washed only the nonstick grille insert in the dishwasher, but the nonstick basket was easy to wash by hand); No automatic Keep Warm setting (a favorite feature of my Philips air fryer); Could use some accessories (such as dehydration racks or cookware in sizes to fit this machine); Large appliance=large footprint; Cord not as heavy duty as it might be; No built-in cord storage. After cooking a whole chicken coated with cooking oil, I did notice that some of the oil had baked onto the inner surface of the basket and could be removed only with vigorous scrubbing, so washing in the dishwasher or cleaning with a specialized agent such as Dawn Powerwash (allow to soak in before wiping and rinsing) might be necessary for easy removal. The whole chicken program can be used without the app, but in roasting two chickens separately, I did not notice any audible cue when the chicken was ready to be turned for the remainder of the cooking time. There is a visual cue on the machine’s display at that point, but using the app is probably better, since continuously watching the machine leaves no time for other cooking tasks.Having tested this wonder of an air fryer, I have found that I actually prefer it to my smaller Philips model, since it is easier to clean and allows me to roast a whole chicken or enough other meats to have leftovers for other meals, thus saving me time, and in some cases, money. It also has plenty of room for preparing the sorts of things that must be tossed for even cooking, like onion rings or French fries. Would definitely recommend it.

I honestly have to say that I am incredibly impressed with this air fryer. By far, it is the most quiet air fryer I’ve every used. It’s so quiet I questioned whether it was actually heating, but it is. And it works great. The buttons on the top are bright and easy to navigate, the basket slides in and out easily and it is huge. The non-stick on the inside is actually non-stick. Last night, after making pork chops, I was able to put some dish soap into it, spray it with hot water and rinse it out clean. I didn’t even have to touch the inside!Speaking of making pork chops, I wanted to try the thermometer probe to see how it works. I use them all the time when I am smoking things on my smoker, so I am familiar with how they work. When I went to use it, I noticed that the battery on it was dead, which I found odd since I had used the air fryer previously while it was in place. Regardless, I put it back in place and turned the air fryer on for about 15 minutes and the probe was fully charged.I stuck the probe into a pork chop, put it in the center of the basket and chose the pork preset of medium. Then I turned it on. Immediately, it showed the internal temperature of the pork chop and the target temperature of 145 degrees F. There was no indication of how long it would take, but my understanding is that if you install the app and connect it, it can guestimate the time. I watched the internal temperature rise and it jumped pretty quickly through the temperatures. I jumped from 100 degrees to 118 degrees to 125 in single bounds. Then right to 130, 135 and 140. Not instantly, no, but it didn’t progress one degree at a time. This made it a little difficult to know when to start the sides, but again, apparently the app addresses that (which I don’t want to install). In all, it took about 15 minutes to cook. When it got to temperature, it simply turned off.And as for how they tasted, they were really good! They were cooked perfectly and they weren’t tough at all. If I’m being honest, I don’t think they were as good as when I grill them, but for the little to no effort involved in cooking these, it was totally worth it.I’ve cooked several things with this air fryer so far, but last night was the first time with the probe. Even without the probe and using the conventional temperature, it works great. The temperature goes all the way up to 450 F, which is something our current air fryer doesn’t do, only going to 415.I simply can’t find anything of concern about this air fryer, other than its lack of name brand. $200 for an unknown brand feels like a lot, but now that I have one, I have to say it would be worth it.

I knew the Typhur Sync 8QT Air Fryer was going to be big, but I didn’t realize just how massive it really is until it arrived at 32D x 34.8W x 46.2H cm, this thing looks like a piece of serious kitchen tech, not just an appliance. The design is sleek and modern, and despite its size, it fits nicely on my counter. The built in wireless thermometer and smart app are truly impressive and actually really useful. It notifies me when my food is done, which is perfect for when I’m multitasking around the house. It has some really interesting features alot of which I dont think i will ever get around to using. But with the features that I do use the unit is quite the fryer

This air fryer feels premium the second you unbox it. The 8 quart capacity handles family sized meals with ease even a whole chicken fits well. The built in thermometer is a nice touch, making it easy to get meats cooked just right without overdoing them. The ceramic basket is sturdy, non stick, and cleans up easily. Everything from fries to salmon came out crisp and evenly cooked. It’s quiet, runs efficiently, and looks sleek on the counter. Easily one of the best air fryers I’ve tried.

Typhur is simply the best brand name in air fryers. They are most well known for their more premium air fryer and this is a newer product designed to compete with the more typical air fryers.Let me start off by saying the quality is definitely there – all of the materials feel quality and the unit is very sturdy. The basket is huge and you can fit so much in it. Not to mention there’s a wireless thermometer that I don’t think I’ve ever seen in any other product at this price point. Just as an aside – Typhur is also known for making high quality wireless meat thermometers and you can see their other air fryers and thermometers all over social media. There is an optional app for it, which I tend to use to check on it while I’m in another room. The touchscreen on the unit is clear and bright and it’s also easy to clean after use. It’s not as loud as my Ninja foodi and cooks things better too. It’s very easy to use as well and the instructions that come with it are excellent. You really can’t go wrong with this air fryer, or Typhur in general. Quality company and excellent products. You’re going to be very happy with this one.

Be careful when you open the food drawer to check on food; the drawer is not anchored and will fall on you or the floor;a very significant burn injury is very likely. The preset chicken function did not give me a FLIP signal as it was supposed to do. The built in temperature probe and the large basket and the large control buttons make it a very good machine but a small design change would make it safer
