Perfect camera 10/10
Love this camera. Was having issues with the popular brand doorbell, once I connected this I’ve had no issues. I am using the battery instead of hardwired due to user(me) issues 😝 but the battery has stayed charged a while. I am at 18% and it does not drain quickly. Installation was easy. I have not purchased a plan yet or tried the trail. Everything I need I’ve been able to see without a plan. The picture quality is perfect. The sound is good, no issues. The size of the camera in the pics look a little bigger than other brands but it’s the normal size as any other camera. They have other products and I wish I had somewhere to put some bc the quality is amazing.

Best video doorbell out there. One major plus for this bell. The feature called “Event” When you push this button a drop down of videos appears. Anyone walking up to door is on a video, nothing else. No searching, it is right there. Second cool feature is “select” and “delete”. With select it brings up a page of videos, which can be viewed or deleted. Excellent product. Be sure to hardwire it. Don’t screw around with batteries. Be sure you have strong internet at the doorbell. Easy install, very clear video. With video card, there are no fees. Also this camera works with 5g network . 100% Buy it!

I would say comparable to ring doorbell at least but maybe better
The video quality is pretty nice I would say comparable to ring doorbell at the least but maybe better depending on which model you have. The setup was easy and straightforward Once again comparable to a ring doorbell. If you’ve ever installed one of those, this one will be a breeze. The quality of the product itself is really nice, I actually bought this one as part of a set that included four exterior solar powered cameras the doorbell, one interior home camera and a DVR to record all of the footage so that I do not have to pay for a monthly subscription which is what I was having to do with ring doorbell.

It’s great for the price and the image is very clear. I live in an apartment and wanted extra security and a doorbell, which the apartment did not have. I also didn’t want to invest in a whole lot of money. So I purchased it knowing that I could return it if it didn’t work out. Well, it did work out and I have been using it for about a month now and I’m very happy with it. I also love that I get notifications on my phone if I’m away from my house or in my bedroom or anywhere. I can communicate with someone at the door if I want to. The software allowed me to limit the area that it monitors so that it wouldn’t be recording every single move people make in the hallway. You can also edit how sensitive it is (depth). And a few they do get in the way or too close to my door get a quick video, but it’s not a problem. I ignore it. I can clearly see who came to deliver something and when. Or anyone that shouldn’t be coming. The doorbell chimes at the door and they also provide a chime that’s wireless that I have installed near my bedroom so I can hear it as well. So it doubles as a doorbell chime and a security camera. I’ve had it for almost a month and I’m still at 80% battery so I don’t think that it will need to be charged very often then and the first charge I did was very fast on a simple USB-C charger. UPDATE: I am three days past the first month and the battery is at 70%. The local storage on the camera has 7 GB and I haven’t even reached 1 Gb. I estimate estimated that the battery charge will last up to or close to around three months. The local story is not a problem because it’s on a loop, meaning that once it is full, it will just write over the oldest files. I don’t see why I would need cloud storage and I think it’s awesome that you don’t need to pay for that!!

Excelente compra, se puede integrar en la misma app de la marca varios dispositivos de adentro de la casa, la nitidez de la imagen me encanta y su fácil instalación, tiene la memoria SD ya incluida y no hay que comprar otra, vale la pena el costo por tener tecnología de IA. Solo recomendaría a la marca colocar la tarjeta SD que ya viene incluida en el repetidor que va adentro en la casa y no en el timbre por seguridad.

This is now my second doorbell. I had bought one to test out for the back door and it worked really well so bought another one for the front door. The back doorbell is on battery power while the front one is wired into the old house doorbell.Size: It is a lot bigger than your regular doorbell or even the Ring doorbells. If you’re looking for something small, slim profile, etc. then this is not the doorbell for you.Battery powered doorbell: Worked surprisingly well considering it was exposed to the elements. It took a couple of months before I had to charge it up again. I live in Alberta, Canada and it weathered well in the March temperatures (dipping down to about -20C. Captured video just fine and clear but there is a lag between you receiving it vs where the person is located.Wire powered doorbell: Installation was fairly easy and integrated with the chimer in the house really easily. The location of the doorbell is on a 90 degree angle so used the plates that were provided to tilt it so it would point more towards the walkway vs just the front door. Again, captured video fine but there is a lag.App: The app worked well but I had to get assistance from customer service to get it linked to the Google Assistant but it wasn’t difficult to use. Only wish that the voice chosen could be on a more permanent scale instead of having to remember to pick the voice change before answering the person as currently, it’s defaulted to using your own voice when you open the app to answer and not one of the other voices you choose. If you’re female and want to use the male voice when answering for safety purposes, you have to remember switch the voice before answering or it will be your own voice that comes through first.Customer Service: AMAZING! I had used all the tilt/angle plates that came with the doorbell but it still wasn’t enough (the doorbell is on the side of the house so 90 degrees from the walkway) so I reached out to customer service with a picture of what the doorbell see vs what it should see. They not only responded quickly, they sent me 2 additional plates at no cost and it arrived within a few days. Every time I have reached out to them, they have been very responsive which shows they stand behind the product.Overall impression: Very good doorbell to upgrade to if you want a camera one but don’t want to spend the high cost dollars for it. The doorbell is a lot bigger than others but does what it’s supposed to do. The cost is decent for what you get but the best part is the customer service. I would give it a 6 star out of 5 for the customer service alone. Would I buy it again? Well… I already bought 2 but I would definitely recommend if people were asking.

I’ve been searching for the perfect video doorbell for over 3 years, and I truly feel like I’ve finally found it with the AOSU Video Doorbell V8S. The 5MP UHD camera quality is absolutely phenomenal—crystal clear both during the day and at night. The dual-band WiFi (2.4/5 GHz) ensures a reliable connection, and the triple motion detection has been incredibly accurate without too many false alerts.While the audio clarity could be a bit better, it hasn’t been a deal-breaker for me. The fact that there’s no monthly fee, 180-day battery life, and local storage for 2 months just adds to the value. Integration with Alexa has been seamless as well.Overall, I’ve been extremely happy with this purchase. It checks all the boxes I was looking for—high quality, reliable performance, and great features without ongoing costs. Highly recommend!

I love it. The video is clear and it was semi-easy to install. Took about an hour but everything works. Easy to watch videos on the app and the chime works great. It sends me notifications and I can adjust settings based on my lifestyle. I wouldn’t pay full price but at the discount I got definitely worth it.
