Various Monitoring Parameters: The power meter plug can monitor the power (W), energy (kWh), volts, amps, hertz, power factor, cost, minimum and maximum power (W), cumulative days and time of your appliances. By switching 8 display modes, you can easily know the various parameters while the appliance is working. The wattage meter can also calculate and display how much power your appliance uses and how much electricity bill it cost in cumulative time.
Premium Material: The whole body of our power monitor is made of high-quality PC material. It makes our home power consumption monitor more long lasting, heat resistant and fall resistant. The standard US socket and plug is suitable for all US standard appliances.
Overload Protection: When the power of the appliance exceeds the overload power, the word “OVERLOAD” and the LCD display will keep flashing, the buzzer will keep making a bi sound to warn the users. All the buttons will quit working and can only work again when the overload alarm has been cleared by raising the setting value or removing the appliance. The default overload power is 3680W and is adjustable from 0 to 3680W. In general, you need to set the overload power to 1800W before using. Just press the “MODE” button for more than 3 seconds to enter the setting.
KWH Alarm: Our power monitor plug has a upgraded power consumption alarm function. You can set the alarm power consumption for the appliances you monitored. Once the accumulated power consumption reaches the set alarm power consumption, the word “kwh alarm” will be displayed and keep flashing, the LCD will also keep flashing, and the buzzer will keep making a bi sound all the time to warn the users.
Data Memory Function: The watt meter plug in will record your power consumption data when you remove energy meter from socket, or remove appliances from the electricity monitor. All setting data and cumulative data(electricity quantity, cost, unit price, time) will be saved. You can directly see the last data when you use the electric usage meter plug next time(NOT including current, voltage, power, power factors). This function can also automatically save the data when there is a sudden power failure.
Backlight Display: With white backlight and black words, the LCD display of our wattage meter plug in can display the data clearer and help you to read the data easier no matter day or night. The backlight will only lights up when the device is connected to AC power. If no button is pressed, the backlight turns off automatically after 10 minutes. You can also press the “DOWN” button to turn on and off the backlight manually.
Adjustable Backlight Time: Our power usage meter also has 5 options of backlight time. The default backlight time duration is 10 minutes(bL-0). If you want to change the backlight time, you can press and hold “UP” and “DOWN” button at the same time to enter backlight time setting, then press “UP” and “DOWN” to select the backlight time (bL-0 =10 minutes, bL-1=1 hour, bL-2=4 hours, bL-3=8 hours, bL-4=normally on), finally press the “SET” to save the backlight time settings.
Monitor Your Energy Usage: Our watt meter power analyzer lets you track electricity consumption and manage power usage to help save on bills. It works as a voltage, kilowatt, current, and electricity meter. If you have any questions about your meter socket, please feel free to contact us.

Somewhat confusing but an excellent device
One thing that I like is that there are a lot of functions, volt amps, power factor, current power used in watts or KW,you can put in the price per kilowatt you pay and it’ll calculate keep running total. But… There are some confusing parts of this too, some that don’t make a lot of sense to me Such as you have a clock that runs when power is being consumed through that meter. And that’s great and it’s a 24 hour clock. In another place it’ll tell you a day so after you run it for 24 hours you go to that screen and you see one day. So is that day one or one completed day so when you look at the hour meter and it says four hours move over a screen or two and you see day one, the first day or is it that it’s one completed day and the hour meter at 12 hours means not one day but one and a half days. Very confusing but that’s what it tries to do and that’s a good thing. It seems somewhat accurate, I have a relatively fixed load on itn hour by hour. It seems to be consistent. The last thing I have to comment on that the directions included with it absolutely suck. They are better than nothing but probably not bu a lot. A little effort and it’s decipherable just little things like the confusion in setting the price per kilowatt. Oh my God, labels on the buttons do not coincide with logic or the book. Well maybe they do somewhat coincide with the book. What I recommend this… Absolutely, yes, you just have to wade through it, but I do highly recommend it

Meter works well to check 110 volt appliances.
These meters seem to work well. I bought to check my freezer electricity usage because my bill seemed pretty high and the freezer seemed to run constantly. The meter is easy to use and set up. So actually the electricity hog is my old basement dehumidifier not the freezer.

More precise measurements, less expensive
This meter measures in Wh as opposed to 10Wh chunks which is extremely helpful in measuring small usage items. On top of that it appears to have all functions of the big name meter at 10%-25% of the price!

Instructions are essential, but very easy to lose.
This is a great little device at a very good price. As an amatuer electrician I have only one small complaint. The instructions are essential to the operation of the meter. I know down the road, a year or two from now when I need the device, the instructions will be nowhere to find. If you could find a simple way to keep the instructions with the device it would be so much more useful.

Works as advertised
Exactly what I needed to test out my DJ equipment. Told me the exact wattage per item I had hooked up. Loved the meter but angry at the lies about a 7,000 watt speaker that actually is 70 watts. Thanks meter for telling the truth. Anyways now I’ve been running around the house plugging and unplugging stuff. All I can say it works and this would be a nice companion to a home owner especially if you not an electrician.

It put my mind at ease
After showing up to a gig with my band, I asked the event co-ordinator where we could tap into power for our PA system. This is an outdoor event so we about to get loud! Anyhow, the lady takes my over to the stage and there is a string of Christmas lights hanging down from one of the street lights. I’m like, umm… it doesn’t have a ground plug… and I’m pretty sure connecting (2) 1300Watt PA Speakers, (2) Stage monitor wedges, a mixing board, wireless mics, an iPad, and a fan to keep us cool in the 98 degree heat is totally going to melt that little wire?!?!? So we went without the fan and hoped for the best. We made it through the gig without issue luckily. So I got to thinking, what sort of power do we need for all our gear? And I found this little bad boy for under $10. Well, I’ll be… Everything we have minus the fan draws less than 1.5Amps. Sweet! I won’t be so worried going forward that we are going to melt wires. It will also save some cash knowing I don’t have to use 10 or 12 gauge extention cords. 16AWG is plenty enough to handle like 2-3 Amps.
