I’ve been really impressed with my Govee light bulbs. The setup was quick, the app is super easy to use, and the color options are bright and vivid. I love how smoothly they switch between scenes, and the scheduling feature has made my lighting feel way more customized.They also respond fast to voice commands and pair perfectly with my smart home setup. I’ve installed these Govee smart bulbs in virtually every room of my home, and I genuinely can’t get enough of them. What really makes them shine (literally and figuratively) is the Govee app—it’s intuitive, fast, and makes grouping bulbs by room or scene super easy. Voice control through Alexa and Google Assistant works flawlessly too.I picked these up during Prime Day, and honestly, my only regret is not buying even more. Awesome lighting options. Easy setup and control through Govee and Alexa.
We love these lights. I’d eventually fill the entire house with Govee bulbs..working on it. They fit into our living room lamps perfectly. Great quality – solid build. Connects to the Govee app immediately and since we already had Govee items connected to Alexa, that was a breeze. There are dozens and dozens of lighting options. We love that. We control it through Govee (which gives us complete control) and through Alexa, which has trouble with “Color Scenes” (like Starry Sky or Forest) – but the common ones have no issues (“Alexa, set the living room lights to Nightlight”) works just fine. We didn’t have to program each one. But again, the unique ones don’t work (e.g., “I don’t know how to set Living Room Lamps to that setting.) Oh well, maybe we’ll find the ones we want and just program them individually. You can set all the options through the app directly. It’s just voice control that’s tricky.

A fantastic value upgrade from LIFX — easier to set up, good performance, and way less hassle
I picked up two 4-packs of these Govee smart bulbs during a sale to replace a set of aging LIFX bulbs I’ve been using since 2017. After eight years of syncing, grouping, and trying to get everything working just right with LIFX, I finally decided it wasn’t worth the extra cost for features I rarely used. One LIFX bulb had failed, and a couple others were getting flakey with connectivity. I wanted something simpler that still gave me color and scheduling — and Govee delivered.Setup was incredibly easy. These new bulbs were detected almost instantly when I plugged them in. A couple of taps in the app, and they were connected and even auto-integrated with Alexa. That’s a huge improvement from earlier smart bulb setups (even earlier Govee ones I own). I now have seven of the eight bulbs installed along with two Govee light strips, all grouped and running Halloween scenes on my patio. It’s been a solid setup so far.Compared to LIFX, the color control and brightness aren’t quite as dynamic. The LIFX strips, especially, had more nuanced transitions and stronger color saturation. But in practice, the difference just doesn’t matter much — especially when synced to music. After years of trying to get light/music syncing to be something magical, I’ve come to realize it’s more of a gimmick than a feature. Govee still delivers good color scenes and effects, and unless you’re obsessive about subtle hue shifts, you’ll be more than satisfied.I’ve used Govee products for at least five years now — four bulbs and two strips — and they’ve been very reliable. One older bulb has a minor issue where it doesn’t completely turn off and glows faintly like a nightlight. But after that much usage, I’m fine with that. It’s a minor flaw, and the overall track record is solid.These bulbs have made my smart lighting more manageable. They’re easier to set up than LIFX, play well with Alexa, and give me the features I use most without overcomplicating things. For the price, they’re an excellent value.Pros:• Incredibly easy setup and instant Alexa integration• Solid performance with grouping and scenes• Very good color options and brightness for the price• Great value — especially compared to LIFX• Reliable brand experience based on years of useCons:• LIFX still wins on color precision and transitions• One older bulb didn’t fully power off (very minor and after years of use)• Music syncing and advanced lighting effects are still mostly gimmicks in both brandsMy rating: 5 stars – Product is excellent and exceeds expectations.Star Rating Guideline:• 5 stars – Product is excellent and exceeds expectations. Good brightness. Super easy to sync and use with the app. Settings are fun to set up! Super worth it. Going to replace all my bulbs with this if day 1 is anything to go by.

Easy application, product as advertised
Love using Govee products. I have picked them as my go to with mood and outside lighting in and outside my home. I’m using these bulbs to enhance my Halloween outside lights and decorations. They are as advertised. It’s easy to connect to the app and manipulate colors. Something convenient is the on/off timer in the application. I use it to start my lights when it’s dark and shut off at my regular bed time. They also come on early in the morning when I head to the gym and shut off shortly after I leave. I will keep these bulbs year round and change colors depending on the time of the year.

Perfection, simplified. The app does all the work for you. Simply screw in your bulb, turn the light on, and go to your app, and you will be walked through the rest of the simplified set up. The color range is phenomenal, the applications of colors is beyond all expectations, and whether it is for mood lighting or party, there is something for every occasion. And when you can’t find exactly what you want, the app allows you to design your own.

Two of the set of four are working fine. Whoever unfortunately, the other two bulbs are defective and won’t work. I tried to contact the seller maybe they can send a replacement but sadly I couldn’t get a hold of them. So far the product has been 50% success rate so i highly recommend finding another seller that might offer a better customer support if the items are defective.

Increíble cambio, mi anterior foco era de otra marca y comparado con govee se siente mucho la diferencia aparte de que mi foco anterior eran 400 lúmenes y este es de 800 si se nota la diferencia en la iluminación y los modos de iluminación son muy buenos tanto la aplicación como los focos son excelentes.

I’m really happy with these Govee Smart Bulbs overall. The setup was super easy, and they connected to my Google Home without any issues. I also like how intuitive the app is and how quickly I can change colours or brightness.The colour range is good, but not quite as refined as Philips Hue bulbs. I find it a bit tricky to get the exact colour tone I want, especially with softer or more subtle shades. That said, for the price and the features you get, they’re an amazing value.If you want reliable smart bulbs that work well with Google Home and don’t want to spend Philips Hue money, these are a great choice!
