Work for Samsung Q990D Surrounds
The directions for mounting the Samsung Q990D Surround speakers recommends a much higher weight capacity than most speaker mounts. These things are very sturdy and easily adjustable. They work great.

Very sturdy but bring your own anchors!
First things first: The anchors which are included with these speakers are unusable. The screws are too small for them and the do not work. On one of my speakers I was able to find a conveniently placed stud but wasn’t so lucky on the other. I was weary of the anchors being strong enough but tried them anyway. This caused me to have to then patch holes and paint, which was annoying. I got some nice steel anchors which feel quite strong enough.The above said, I am still giving this product 5 stars because they are otherwise extremely nice mounts. Nice heavy cast metal with lots of adjustability to get your speakers pointed exactly right. They fit my speakers perfectly and I have 100% confidence that my speakers aren’t going to fall down.For the price I don’t think these could be beat. Between the build quality, strength, mounting options, and the wide range of adjustability I can’t see how any other mount would be better unless your speakers are too large/heavy for what these are rated for.

Great mount except mounting hardware does not seem very robust
Bought these to mount rear surround speakers which weigh 6-7 lbs. Very solid construction. Definitely feel like they’re not going to snap/break. Would have given 5 stars except for the 2 cons belowPros:-Very solid, seem very durable-Easy adjustment of vertical and horizontal swivels-Easy to installCons:- Some of the supplied mounting hardware seems flimsy, had to buy my own- None of the supplied hardware fit the built in screw inserts on my speakers, had to buy my own

Solid small but mighty speaker wall mount
The mount is easy to install; I would only trust this kind of weight and torque on a stud in the wall or concrete. The mounting options are in the box, for gourd hole, key hole and direct with a plate. I think the plate option is the best option and most secure with the most surface area contact but it requires you screw it into your speaker and that won’t work for many people who don’t want to put holes in their speakers. That doesn’t bother me at all so I bolted in the back plates and this allows them to slide over the mount and lock in place. Easy to adjust and it holds position after tightening up. Handles weight nicely.

Not Bad But the Hardware is Lacking
Very sturdy but the mounting screws are very thin. They just stripped out and never tightened. I had to buy thicker screws. The only other issue is there is a lot of play in the up and down direction even when the knob is tight. But, they’re solid and aren’t going to go anywhere once you have them mounted.

These are really good mounts that I would buy again.
These mounts are fantastic, good and solid construction. People are right by saying, you will more than likely end up at the hardware store in the end, but no matter. I will be purchasing these again to replace the plastic junk holding up my front height speakers. These are wall mounted using the keyholes in both the speaker and mount. I did use the screws that came with this set and purchased locknuts. I also purchased some wood and created spacers in order to achieve the angle needed. These are Atmos speakers from Klipsch with the keyhole toward the top of the speaker.

A Sturdy Pair of Speaker Mounts
Did a lot of research from what was available on Amazon for heavy speaker mounts. Settled on these ones and can confirm that they do the job. Used them to mount my Martin Logan LX16 speaker pair to the wall overhead. Each speaker is 12 Lbs. and mounted via a 3/8th-16 Bolt.Pros: Made from solid metal; They feel trustworthy enough to hold heavy speakers on the wall without sag. Pan and Tilt axis each independently adjustable. Could be used to mount speakers to the ceiling if your speakers are the right size and you know how to find a ceiling joist to secure them to.Cons: One of the two speaker mounts did not come completely finished, it had a bit of extra metal in the eyelet I had to file away to fit the bolt through to the speaker mounting hole. This was concerning but not enough to cause me to dock any start from the review. They hold the speakers quite far away from the wall and I would not trust these mounts with the mounting hardware that was included with these mounts for heavier speakers. I got my own mounting hardware from a local hardware store to secure these into studs in the wall and to secure my speakers to the mounts.Not easy to secure to the wall without a second person to help you support the weight.Despite these cons I would recommend these speaker mounts for heavier speakers.

Not the cheapest option but very solid and universal. Very good quality product. Bracket can be turned in almost all directions. Also different types of mounting of the speaker possible. Supplied plugs and screws to mount are from very good quality. If you want a good universal bracket don’t hesitate to buy this one.
