Great – but mounting was not seamless and adding users isn’t super intuitive.
First off this lock, especially for the price is awesome. I love that the exterior buttons are physical press vs digital. The locking mechanics feel smooth, and being able to do it from an app with a simple drag is just awesome. It was fairly easy to install, with some caveats.Everything went on easy besides the interior plate. For the life of me I could not get the included screws to thread into the mounting plate. I ended up having to use my old lock screws + one that came with the kit to screw into my door to hold it. This isn’t how it’s supposed to be, but it works.Second, adding users is kind of weird. I wanted my wife to have access to the app so I invited her via email as it prompts you too. Well it isn’t as easy as just sending an email for access like I’m use to with Amazon products. We had to get the email, make an account with that email, send the invite again now that the account was active, and then go to the Apps inbox to accept the invite. Just seemed like more steps than usual.Very minor flaws though and not enough to knock it down any stars. It’s awesome being able to set up multiple codes for parents, in-laws, whoever. It’s great to be able to unlock my house from my car and just walk right in. If you have a “dumb” lock, you’ll enjoy this upgrade.

Superior to Nest
We’ve had Nest x Yale locks for 10 years and this wins in our major pain points:1) install was easier. They put the bar code you scan in a spot where you don’t have to take the batteries out. Anyone who has moved a Nest lock or dealt with a reset knows this is a win.2) the lock calibrates on set up to know what ‘locked’ is. Again, if you’ve installed a Nest it is all or nothing with the lock mechanism needing to be fully extended or the lock errors out. I can’t tell you how many times that feature put my locks offline and in a state that I can’t remotely control.3) price – holy cow this is a great deal4) operationally I’ve had three Nests go haywire and lock/unlock themselves (I’m talking like 200-600 times over 48 hours) and wear their batteries out. When you’re 2 hours away this is distressing.5) a key. Probably more important with peace of mind for the Nest operational issues we experience, but having a plan b is great.User reviews are what convinced me to try the lock so I’ll update this if anything changes.

Great lockset
I’ve had two Schlage locks that failed within a few years. I replaced on with a Kwikset and the other with this Eufy. The Kwikset is rugged and is standing up well in direct sunlight and weather.The Eufy is on the north side of the house and not exposed to weather, it has been flawless. I like the ease of adding temporary codes for a dog sitter, guests, etc. I also like the notification as soon as the lock is used. I will definitely replace the Kwikset with this brand when it comes time to replace.

Works very well, but batteries should last much longer.
I like this lock a lot. As an airbnb owner I had several other front door locks with touchscreens – which for some reason just don’t respond well to certain peoples fingers. This model with actual buttons is working much better for me. The only downside is that the battery life is pretty bad in comparison. 4 AAs in my touchscreen lock from another company last literally YEARS – but in this lock they seem to only last about 2-2.5 months at best.

Great Smart Lock that works well and reasonably priced
The eufy Security Smart Lock C30 was easy to install and very easy to use. The quality of the lock is excellent. It is easy to control the lock from the phone app. I installed two of these locks in my home two weeks ago and they are working flawlessly. The price for this lock is reasonable and the phone app is easy to use and works very well. I recommend this lock to anyone who is looking for a quality smart lock that isn’t overly expensive.

Wonderful Security Lock
I absolutely love this eufy security smart lock. it was super easy to program. The directions were very explanatory, and programming was a breeze. I love how many codes you can provide and it not be overwhelming. The amount of numbers you can select to create your code is comforting as it decreases the chances of someone guessing your code and being able to enter your home. The one button push to lock the door is very convenient. No wasting time trying to hold your finger on the lock button. I love that it registers on your phone when ever the door is unlocked so you will know if your kids are going out or someone is trying to come in. This lock has excellent quality and craftsmanship. I would buy this again and again.

A quality lock that proves you flexibility in locking the door.Easy to set up, easy to program, easy to use app.The only downside, which is not that big of a deal, is the lock is not relatable.

Works well but not robust
Installed 2 months ago, first thing I did was update the firmware. Battery still shows full, wifi is 20 feet away.I was going to put this lock on my front door but since its a budget lock, the casing is thin and almost plastic looking. I think it would get destroyed if someone to a 3lb hammer to it so I installed it on my garage door to the house instead. Its supposed to be nickel but looks more like chrome to me.The app works good, I get a notification when locked or unlocked within about 5 seconds. No issues whatsoever. Just not robust.

A right faff to fit and set up involving creating a large hole in your door. I have an enormous collection of tools, but nothing “standard sized” cut the holes the right size. Then another faff setting it to work with alexa.After 1 day one of the two locks I bought stopped responding. They were both close enough to the router – about 10m with 1 wall between. Other wifi kit farther in the same direction still worked. Batteries measured at 1.2V (brand new, 1 day old!). Not even the keypad would operate the lock. Tried a reset etc … nothing.Locks are about security and trust. Have since removed and am looking to return both locks – leaving big holes in 2 ruined expensive doors.

Great product, easy installation, but expect to replace the batteries a couple of times during the yearPros:- Physical buttons work great even with winter gloves (for me this is a huge advantage over touchscreen-type locks)- Can check and lock the door remotely- Easy to use and install- You get a notification if the door fails to lockCons:- Batteries need to be replaced every ~3 monthsUsage tips:- You can turn off the lock sound using the app- For security, you can type a longer password and include the real password in it, like: 123102045 (1020 being the real password)
