*Based on 300s of recording time per day. Actual battery life depends on several factors such as the number of times motion is detected, event recording duration, and environmental temperatures.

Why doesn’t my SoloCam S340 battery stay at 100%?
Power collected by the solar panel depends on the weather and available sunlight. If little energy is collected in a day, the battery level may go down. It can run for up to 3 months on battery and it will be charged once the weather is sunny.
Can SoloCam S340 be installed vertically on the ceiling?
Yes. The camera can be installed vertically on the ceiling or horizontally on the wall with a separate solar panel (ideal for strong solar power), or horizontally on the wall with an attached solar panel (minimal drilling required).
Does SoloCam S340 support 24×7 recording?
No. Battery cameras aren’t currently capable of 24/7 recording, even if connected to HomeBase 3（with firmware version V3.3.2.6 and above）.
Which HomeBase S380 features are SoloCam S340 compatible with?
When connected to HomeBase S380, SoloCam S340 will be able to utilize the storage capacity of HomeBase S380 and the AI will be enhanced with BionicMind, enabling familiar faces, human recognition, vehicle detection, and pet detection.

Fully featured cameras without the subscription.
These are great cameras! Easy to install and set up, no subscription required, and they have been up fivemonths without problem. The solar panels seem to charge them very effectively, only needing to charge about every three days, and you can track that through the app very easily. These have pretty much every feature you could want in a home security camera. The one feature I wish they did have ( and could probably be added later through firmware update, hint hint Eufy) is the ability to have the cameras scan an area regularly. You can set a default position and multiple additional views in the app, but have to switch between them manually. It is great that I can view recorded clips and live footage from anywhere very easily and everything is stored locally at my home with no subscription. AI features are good and constantly improving as well.

Great Clarity and Sensitivity!!
I had been searching a subscription-free security system for a longtime. I learned about Eufy’s systems from my daughter. I read the review and chose the wireless system vs the wired system. I don’t mind working around my house, but I refuse to crawl in the attic to connect the wired system. Installing the wireless was easy, just had to used an extension ladder two of the cameras. All the cameras work great as well as the clarity of the pictures from the cameras. Great product!!! Good value for the money.

Good Camera and Excellent Software
Easy setup. Works great. The software is the best I have seen and it is actually free. No subscription required. It has a check box menu where you can pick detection of people, cars, or any movement. One important thing to know is that the camera really only activates in daylight when when there is motion within about 30-40 feet. Night vision is very clear but motion detection is reduced. You do not have to pay for a subscription. The only thing I do not like is the camera only works on the 2.4GHz. No issues with connectivity here.

Pretty Good PTZ Solar Security Cameras
These cameras are pretty good. Good clarity, good tracking, not too sensitive or lacking sensitivity. Picks up wildlife around my property when I have animal detection turned on. Human tracking is ideal. I do recommend following the installation instructions and mount the camera(s) so they detect at an angle. Head on monitoring doesn’t always pick up a person approaching the house. Easy setup and if you need a larger amount of storage, purchase the Home Base. Battery life is good. The solar panels recharge the batteries well. The only downfall I have found is that when viewing Live View, there is an annoying pop-up every couple of minutes causing you to either keep live view going or cancel live viewing. I rely heavily on live view and I monitor my battery level so I don’t need a pop-up that cancels the live view if you don’t choose to continue it. I have sent a suggestion to the manufacturer explaining my issue. I think (I’m no pro at how this all works) it may just be a programming change in software (app). We’ll see.Anyway, aside from that, I would recommend the to someone looking for good PTZ, solar charged security cameras.

Best camera – no subscription needed!
I love these cameras! The solar feature is super convenient, and the fact that there’s no monthly subscription is a huge plus. They record movement with great clarity and the video quality is much better than I expected. I’ve had Ring and Blink in the past, but this Eufy camera is definitely my favorite so far. Reliable, easy to use, and totally worth it.

Easy to install, no subscription required and, great image quality at 3K.
Great addition to home. The Camera is easy to install and connection to WIFI is QR driven and very easy to use. The Camera will track Humans, Cars and non-defined motions. You can select one or all of these selections as needed. Preset positions allow Auto-Zoom when detected and saved for viewing. You DON’T need a subscription to use the Camera and multiple shared Camera an be connected and monitored. Great product!

Hands down the single best security camera!
I will preface this by saying I have owned many cameras prior to this one, Ring, Nest, Google, night owl, etc. This camera specifically is absolutely incredible. The video quality is superb, the solar works amazing where my camera has never dropped below 90%, ever! this is with the settings maxed to catch everything. The zoom is fantastic as long as you mount it correctly so its not off level or when zoomed in its too low for a large front or backyard, I recommend turning the camera on and setting it up so as you mount it you can view how it will look then adjust to your needs. The app is very good and has everything you would wont right there, the AI tracking is really good, always catches someone even if they ran by, the night vision is very very good as is the low light color. I have had mind mounted outside in the hot california desert sun and the battery is still just as good as new which i worried about, rain has not affected it either. I love this so much im buying one for the backyard and for my parents. The connection range is great, never lags or wont connect it just always works. I have only one single issue and that’s the mount is not the best, I wish it offered an adjustable mount to make the mounting area a little more versatile, but not a deal breaker, I would not hesitate to buy this again what so ever, great value for the money it cost.

I’ve been using Eufy security products for a while now — including the HomeBase hub and several cameras — and they’ve all been outstanding. The S340 fits perfectly into that lineup and continues Eufy’s track record of quality, reliability, and thoughtful design.Setup was quick and seamless through the Eufy Security app, especially since I already had the HomeBase hub integrated. The picture quality is excellent, both day and night. The dual lenses really make a difference, providing a clear, detailed view of wide areas without losing close-up clarity. Motion tracking is smooth and responsive, and I appreciate that everything runs locally for privacy and faster response times.Battery life has been solid so far, and the solar charging feature is a huge bonus — I haven’t had to worry about recharging at all. Notifications are quick, and the AI detection seems accurate, filtering out most false alerts.If you already have other Eufy devices, this is a perfect upgrade or addition. And if you’re just starting out, this camera shows exactly why Eufy products are so highly rated — dependable, easy to use, and built to last.P.S. the bonus solar panel included with the purchase was a welcomed treat!Certainly cements my position and confidence in the eufy product line
