    Great value, perfect size
I own a coffee shop and used to purchase my pastries from a bakery. The chef ended up having to quit for health reasons and I couldn’t find a good replacement. So I decided to bake my own. Please note: I don’t have a full commercial kitchen but my back room is health department approved. I verified with them what I wanted to do and then purchased this oven. My shop is NOT a bakery. I don’t need to make dozens and dozens of muffins and rolls per day. But the demand has gone up since I took over. I’ve learned how to modify my recipes to work with my little toasty baby. I can fit 9 jumbo muffins on the basket tray (I use paper lined silicone individual muffin cups – 5-6 ounce size). They bake beautifully and clean up is easier. I also have two mini muffin silicone trays that I bake on two racks to produce 3 dozen “bites” at a time. The biggest challenge are my jumbo cookies. I tried finding a flat tray to fit but ended up using the crumb tray with silicone sheets to line it. I can bake 5 cookies at a time (3″ cookies). I contacted the manufacturer and was able to order another crumb tray so I can switch out and bake more without so long between batches waiting for my tray to cool. To say I put this little oven through it’s paces is putting it mildly.Pros: Price, hands down the best price I’ve seen for the size (I got it on sale and then was given a gift certificate so my cost out of pocket was only $40 – I see it is currently $99 on sale and I want to buy another as a backup). It is lightweight and easy for me to move. I store it on a shelf and move it to my prep-table to bake. I’ve been using it now for 8 months and I bake 5-6 days per week – at least 3 hours per day.I typically set it on Bake at 400°F to start my muffins and bake them for 5 minutes before turning it down to 320°F for another 30. As soon as that batch is done I will reset it for the higher temp again to work on the next batch. It holds it’s temperature really well and quickly reheats. For my cookies I use the Convection setting and preheat to 350°F. Once I put in the tray I lower the temp to 310°F and bake them for 15-16 mins depending on the type of cookie. I cannot rotate my tray since it has the lip but the cookies seem to do well enough. I use an ice cream scoop to keep my sizes consistent but I’ve learned that I have to flatten them a bit in order to get a nice, evenly baked treat. I make them ahead of time and freeze the dough. Straight from the freezer to the oven – they bake perfectly every time. There are so many settings I haven’t used on this oven but I’ll still list it as a “Pro”. Never know when you’ll need them. I already have a bagel toaster so I don’t need to use this but I’m tempted to play with it just to see.Cons: this is more of a “things I would change but I cannot complain section”. The doors have a small gap and allows heat to escape. Having baked all summer I can tell you it does make the room warmer! I would have also liked an internal light but that’s not really that big of a deal since my backroom is so well lit. At first I would have complained that there are no trays and racks available online that will fit the oven but after reaching out to the manufacturer I’ll leave that alone. The cost for the new tray was very reasonable and the shipping was quick. The ONLY other thing – even though I use the convection setting I do still rotate some of my pastries. With that gap in the doors the food that is in the front of the unit doesn’t get done as quickly. I set a separate timer to rotate things so that I don’t lose my full bake time alert. I’ve been tempted to put a small strip of rubber on the edge and see what happens. In conclusion: I love my little oven. My husband calls it my “Easy Bake Oven” (lightbulb not included). My customers laugh at that but they enjoy what it produces.UPDATE: 1 year and 8 months in and my little oven is going strong. I bake anywhere from 6-8 batches per day, 6 days per week and this little thing is a beast. I love it so much I am going to purchase another just to have on hand in case something happens. I think that’s the highest form of praise I can give.

    Attractive and efficient
Good value, looks good … especially since it’s sometimes difficult to find a black air fryer toaster oven combo. This one is exactly the size I needed to replace my Power XL. I really like all the presets. I am surprised that it doesn’t have a baked potato preset … which is even a standard on microwave ovens. This unit is powerful and gets really illuminated when cycling on and it gets HOT! I think the 1700 watts makes it run a bit hot and as a result cooks the food really fast. Yesterday I baked a large pot pie in it on bake. It should have baked on 400 degrees for 60 minutes but after the first 20 minutes I adjusted it to 375 and it was ready in a total of 50 minutes and was close to perfect. I also have baked a 12 inch stuffed crust frozen pizza in it … my favorite! I followed the recommended settings but again the pizza started getting done really fast. The pizza tasted great but I was unable to leave it in longer for a crisper crust because the cheese would have burned on top. I followed their recommendations and used the PIZZA preset and placed it on the wire rack in the center with the baking pan in the bottom slot. It will take time to adjust and experiment with options … next time I might try air fry option or convection bake instead of Pizza bake cycle. If you want a little crisper bottom crust then maybe try removing the bottom try for maybe the last 15-20 minutes for the perfect pizza! I also did a few slices of toast this morning using the toast preset. It got golden brown and cooked 100% evenly. I also tried tater tots but instead of using the Fries button, I used the Air Fryer setting and put them in the wire basket on the top slot. I removed the rack and put the baking pan on the bottom slot to catch any crumbs that might fall. They were so crispy, golden brown outside and tender inside … A+! Oh … to clear up a couple of things from some reviewers posts: the gap between the doors is NOT a flaw but instead done intentionally and this is covered in the product details description. It helps with ventilation and because of being fairly small yet having 1700 watts of power, it helps with preventing unit overheating. The entire unit gets hot and the food cooks great and fast so the gap really is a non issue. The doors open together just by pulling one and they open wide enough and stay open without self closing until you push one shut. The design is flawless for loading and unloading your food. So … if this is the correct size for you and you want a black (or stainless) unit with many presets and no knobs in an airfryer toaster oven that does airfry, bake or convection with 17 presets … go for it!

Overall a good oven, but gets quite hot
Overall its a good toaster oven. A couple of suggestions for the next gen…I wish the preset buttons would light up or have an indicator light showing which one is in use. There is a gap between the doors, intentional? Seems like it lets a lot of heat out. Wish the preheat cycle had a countdown. The oven runs quite hot, so takes a bit of trial and error. This is the first in a long line of toaster ovens where the air fry function actually gets hot enough!

I’ll be honest – I hesitated a lot before buying this airfyer + over combo from Gourmia. The one I had before was also from Gourmia but with a non-stick coating inside and a pullout basket. I’d been planning to change it and was therefore looking for steel interiored alternatives. This was available at a promotional price but was still high enough. The reviews I read weren’t that great as many complained about the door handles becoming hot and what not. So I did my own research (I’m good at it) and found that on another platform -Mamavation, they had given a detailed pros and cons review from materials, built and usage perspective and this product featured in the one of the safest airfryers list. The only thing I had to do was swap out the aluminium baking tray with a steel one from Wildone. I followed instructions and cleaned all the parts as mentioned before my first use. We used it for a variety of snacks – Samosa, baked dumplings, spicy chicken dry, chicken popcorn’s, savoury chickpeas, and good old fries! They turned out pretty good. The best part, the door exteriors and the handles were absolutely ok to handle and unlike some reviews, were not dangerously hot. Besides, one would use oven gloves any way, right? The product side fits our needs and current space well. And the biggest thing is now I’m less worried about toxicity etc. Don’t just go by the reviews (including mine), do your own research and buy what you need.P.S: Wanted to post a picture, but the Fryer is neatly tucked away in one of the kitchen cabinets. Will update with the photo on the next use for sure! Happy cooking!
