Great little vacuum and fantastic customer service
We purchased this vacuum, Eufy x10 Pro Omni, for a house gift to ourselves for Christmas. We ordered it on Cyber Monday and didn’t receive it until December 24th. No problem, thankfully we had a friend that remained in town and was able to go to our house on Christmas eve and place it in our garage. I started using the vacuum on Friday the 27th, 9 days ago and I have been running it through all the functions and everything I can to see if it has any issues or if it doesn’t meet my expectations so I can return it if there are any issues. Before trying to use the vacuum, I watched all the videos and read as much material as I could on setting it up and mapping the home. After feeling comfortable about setting it up I started to set it up to map the house, following instructions in the manual I downloaded. Everything went pretty well and it seem to map out the rooms very well. I noticed if you have curtains that hang to the floor this will cause the vacuum to drive around the curtains and not get close to the wall. Also if you have a bed skirt around the bed it will not go through it to get under the bed. This prevents the vacuum from going under the bed to clean. Before we clean the rooms we pull this up and tuck it in so it will clean under the bed and I roll the curtains up so it will get closer to the wall. I have tried every command and different levels to vacuum different rooms, vacuum and mop bathrooms and the kitchen. The vacuum works very well and I like how it will self-empty at the time intervals I have set it at. For tile it mops and cleans very well with no streaks. Our hardwood floor it cleans it very well however, it leaves swirling marks as well as tire pattern marks from the wheels. I have tried different water levels and trying to clean twice. I do like that the vacuum washes the mops and then dry’s the mop heads, so they don’t begin to smell. Great feature. When it self-cleans, after vacuuming, it is pretty loud. I think this is because it needs a great deal of suction to clean out the vacuum and deposit it in the bag. This is not an issue if the base is in a different room away from locations you use to relax or watch TV. Even then, it’s no problem because it only lasts a few seconds and you can run it when you’re not home. I have tried every scenario this vacuum has to offer and it has worked very well and I have been pleased up until last night. Day 8 of testing. For some reason the task of cleaning or emptying the tray for dirty water does not work anymore. I looked up how to troubleshoot this problem and have done everything, several times, that was in two or three troubleshooting guides, video and written. I cleaned everything even though nothing was dirty, since we have only had this vacuum for 8 days, before this issue. See the picture of the water in the tray and how clean it is. Not a dirt or dirty tray issue. I have checked rubber seals, blown soft air through the lines with no issues of blockage. Filters are all clean and brand new. I’ve been working on this issue for three hours now trying everything and chatting with Eufy, sending Eufy an email explaining the issue with uploaded videos showing all the parts and me going through the steps they requested to fix the problem. I can’t call them because they are not open until Monday and as usual, nothing goes wrong until the weekend. At this point I am at a standstill until I can troubleshoot the problem with an actual person. I will update this review once I go through this process and will explain the solution. If, there is one other than replacing the unit. More to come on this. Up until this issue started this vacuum has worked exceptionally well. I highly recommend if you purchase this vacuum to take the time to run it through every scenario, as I have, to make sure it has no bugs and/or that it meets your expectations. At this point I would recommend it to a buyer with caution. This is a very sophisticated piece of equipment that, in my opinion, has a lot of things that could go wrong. Things that even the best handyman won’t be able to fix. This day and age, appliances with electronics and all the bells and whistles fail quite regularly and require expensive circuit boards and electronics to repair them. Not to mention the cost for the repair person to do it if you are unable. I recommend purchasing the extended warranty. If not, run this thing every which way to Sunday before the 30-day return expires and then hope nothing fails, especially on a weekend, after the warranty has expired. More to come on this.Update. Eufy emailed me a return label and instructions to send back the base not the rob vac. I had saved the original box therefore, sending it back was not a problem. It took over a week to get a replacement base. I contacted Eufy per my concerns of this elapsed time were I was not able to continue testing the vacuum and its features within the 31 day timeframe for a full refund. They assured me they would extend this date by two weeks. I received the new base shortly after a week. When I returned the base I sent in the cord to the unit and left the vacuum bag installed. When I received the new base it was missing the cord and did not have a vacuum bag. I contacted Eufy and they assured me a cord and a pack of vacuum bags would be shipped. It’s been now almost one more week and I have yet to receive the shipment. For two weeks I haven’t been able to use the vacuum. Eufy did issue me a number to receive two wash pads for free. I had to go to a site through a link emailed to me and enter the code. Problem is, the code covered $10.00 of $12.00 cost do I had to pay $2.00. I contacted Eufy and they said they would reimburse me the $2.00 however, I would have to wait until I receive the pads and then I would need to contact them at such time. Now I’m waiting for the cord, vacuum bags and wash pads. Sorry this review has turned into a novel. I just want to put everything out there to help others to decide on a purchase. As for the vacuum and what I have experienced, while I was able to use it, I am very pleased with the results.Received the new base and everything has worked exceptionally well. Whenever I send the support or customer service an email or a question they always respond immediately with an answer. This unit I would recommend to anybody who has animals. I’ve not had a problem with dog hair tangling in the brush. If someone in the family has long hair that will get tangled in the brush. Great little mid price vacuum fantastic customer service.

In love with a clean house!
This is my first robot vacuum and I absolutely love it! Review is after a current month of use.Object detection: 9/10This does a fantastic job of detecting common objects that might cause problems. You get alerts on your phone and it takes a picture of the object it avoided so you can review what you had laying around your house. It did however pick up a small charging cable once, I think it just had one of those once in a thousand chances to approach the cable on the ground at a perpendicular angle while it was laid out straight on the ground so the camera had a hard time recognizing it. Grey cable over grey rug you know. But I chalk it up to a fluke as its detected the cable on the ground when its more bunched up rather than laid flat out. When it did vacuum up the cable the vacuums tangle detection went off right away and the vacuum stopped in its tracks to prevent any sort of damageVacuuming: 9/10I love it but i will be hard pressed to give it a 10/10 on anything. Vacuuming works amazing for my modest apartment. I have no kids and no pets so it never has too much to pick up after it. The app allows you to set multiple type of modes from light vacuuming to more thorough deep clean. The vacuum itself it able to transition from my area rugs rather well, the only thing it seems to have issue with is lighter rugs but its more of a problem of those rugs then the vacuum. I can’t expect the vacuum to be smart enough to avoid the curled up ends of my hallway runner and not fold it over itself. My bathroom rugs are another story however. I have concrete floors and my mats slide around easily and because of this the vacuum can’t properly drive on top of them, ends up just trying to push them around. The auto-emptying feature can be a bit loud as well as the vacuum itself, I tend to let it run while i’m at work however so that has never been an issue for me. So nice coming home to a clean house every day!Mopping: 8/10Disclaimer I’ve only used the mopping feature a couple times. I haven’t used it on anything extensive, ive had a few minor spills that it appears to mop up well. Mostly i’ve just been treating this as a light mopping to clean up day to day dirt that accumulates during the week, I choose to run the mop once a week for my kitchen. The main reason i knocked it down to 8 is when i’ve applied a deep clean and watched it I believe the mop might have a tendency to dry out and not enough water gets applied. It could also be some settings I need to better apply.I will say I had some sticky spots on my floor and it cleaned it up properly so i’m 100% happy with it for my needs. The full self drying and cleaning feature of the mop pads it wonderful as well! I would recommend emptying the dirty water tank day of cleaning or else I would imagine it would start to smell having dirty water just sitting in that container. Also emptying it out quickly means it only needs a quick rinse with clean water to keep any sort of smell from building up and sticking inside from the dirty water. Which for me is a concern since the docking station sits behind the couch for me.AI Features:- Object detection 9/10: as i went over above earlier- Room Detection 10/10: Robot did a fantastic job mapping out different rooms in my house. Makes it so easy to explicitly tell it to clean certain rooms. For example due to my bathroom rugs I have it ignore vacuuming the bathroom on its daily task. Then on the weekend I can pull out my mats and send the bot to go clean just the bathroom, or I can set a weekly task for just mopping up the kitchen and main entryway- All in one cleaning 10/10: You can set the robot to figure out when it should vacuum and mop. I have concrete floors with area rugs, the robot will map out and properly detect your carpet and will intelligently figure out it shouldn’t mop your carpet and only mop the hardwood/concrete sections. In the map the app builds of your floor plan you can actually see it map out any carpet you have over hardwood floors. All in all I would say the AI does better than advertised. A good example is on setup, they’ll recommend you place the docking station somewhere with a good foot around both sides to make sure the robot can get back to the docking station and i’ve placed my docking station in a corner against a wall due to limited room. I can definitely see it have difficulty in navigating back to the docking station because it wants to make sure it doesnt scratch up the wall, but it always finds its way back with time. Ive tested placing it per recommendations and it has no issue navigating back to docking station immediately. but if you dont have a large place to put it, don’t worry about having too much room on either side, just make sure you have a nice straight unobstructed path in front of it and it will be fine.I was honestly feeling I was having trouble justifying the price of this just to keep my house clean, but honestly coming home to a freshly clean house everyday is a mental health game changer. Especially when you don’t have to put in any physical effort to keep it moderately clean. I come home and see the clean lines on my carpet from my vacuum running earlier, any small spills making breakfast are cleaned up before I get home.Another major bonus, since you can start cleanup tasks remotely. If you’re out on a date and feel like you might bring your partner back home, or your out with any company and you know they’ll be coming back to your place later to relax you can start a quick vacuum task to do a small bit of tidying up before anyone arrives telling it specifically to clean only the rooms where your guests might be relaxing!Edit:I would just like to give a few month update on this product since I know like myself hearing about how well these vacuums last after a few months is key. Vacuum is still a 10/10 for me. I come home to a clean home everyday after work, and it’s fantastic to use for my kitchen after I just finished cooking, letting it mop up any liquids that fell and vacuum up the little bits of food. My house always feels spotless and clean and it’s amazing.

    Handling pet hair great
I have only used it 5 times, fully expecting my border collies hair would clog it and bind up the underside rollers…. So far GREAT! Exceptionally easy setup. Again this is the first week. Past self emptying machines got lost, constantly said it was blocked and need to return the base and then would just die ( I have no t bought a robotic vacuum since 2020 because they just didn’t work in my environment. Eufy accidentally got into my office where multiple sheets of paper and Eufy didn’t disturb them.First night Eufy mapped the house, next day I pushed the the start button and off it went. I have not used the app yet, just not that techi, so my choice to manually start it. After each cleaning I check the underside and no dog hair has accumulated on the spindles. I hand empty the dustbin. I do move my kitchen stools into another place I do not clean because it got stuck on its horizontal bar. I did not give it enough time to unstick…..I need to see what would happen if I left it. Also quiet except for the 20-30 second emptying process. To clean my area it does 5 trips on the concrete floors. I Have been picking up the muddy matts near the doors and shaking them outside when Eufy works. I also do a quick sweep with a broom or a fast vacuuming prior to launching Eufy because I have 5 dogs and live on a dirt road, in a high desert location. I’ll update in a month or so

Writing this at 3 monts after purchase. Love sitting back and watching my floors get vacuumed and mopped. I’ve had other robot vacuums brands for 12 years and this unit is the best by far. It offers amazing features at a reasonable price. The app works great. Only comment is that we have loose rugs and 1 in every 10 cleaning sessions the one mop will fall off when it tries to get onto a rug, but this does not happen often.

I love this product! It has a sleek design and can fit into all the nooks and crannies of my house and scoop up all of the dust underneath my sofas and furniture. It’s also quite silent, so you can have it running in the house without feeling like there is a robot vacuuming around. I purchased one for myself, and I loved the convenience of it so much that I’m planning on ordering another one for my parents.I also love the application, which is simple and easy to use, and I love that I can set it up on a daily or weekly schedule, so the vacuum will automatically begin cleaning and I can come back home to a sparkling clean house. Another plus is that when you decide the vacuuming is complete, the robot vacuum will automatically go back to its charging station, so it saves you the trouble of having to find where the vacuum went and placing it on the charger yourself. If you hate chores and love cool little gadgets, then this product is definitely the one for you. Love it!

Usage: large spaces, limited furniture, but varying surfaces (commercial carpet, high doormats, uneven wooden floor), plenty of foot traffic. We compared to a Shark robo vac (without mopping) and the eufy X10 Pro Omni beats the former in all of the categories below by a huge margin.Pros: easy to set up; mapping without issues, map editing intuitive, great app (quick to open, intuitive to use, plenty of videos are linked to the error messages and settings); powerful suction and mopping functionality; settings for spcaces are saved for the next time; operating pretty reliably over/around obstacles; doesn’t fall down stairs and respects no-go zones; easy maintenance (again the in-context support videos are quickly accessible, so google-ing the instructions on the wild internet), super-responsive support by phone, chat, and email (I cannot stress this feature enough – they even sent us a a evaluation package of their proprietory cleaning solution when we asked whether it was right for our hardwood floors – which it prooved to be [shiny surface, just as nice as Murphy’s, no lemon scent tough]).Cons: Can’t think of any. I think this is as good as it gets in terms of AI powered vacs/mops. I find it does need supervision, though. For spaces with furniture, I think it requires prep if you are after a thorough (close to the edges) clean. You have to move the furniture away from the wall, temporarily move power cables out of the way, etc. and then put it all back together again. And I would like earlier warnings about a compromised brushroll (entangled) or dustbin. The little guy was acting oddly, but I couldn’t figure out what was going on. So, there is some room for improvement. But now I know to just put ‘vac maintenance’ on my duty rotation sheet.Notes: It’s not as fast as I would like (especially when vaccuming & mopping in one go, looking at the history it took 1 hour to clean 77 sm2 (829 sf, no carpets, just hardwood floor). As it can’t do much more than that on a single full charge, I have taken to subdivide our large spaces so that the ‘Auto-return Cleaning function’ doesn’t kick in at inopportune times. There are scheduling functions available that might improve my usage, but I am not there yet. Out of the box it’s a bit chatty, which is not helpful as very hard to understand (by the time one has tuned into the voice and accent – the message is already over with and cannot(?) be repeated). And one last little thingi …. it goes quite close to the wall, which is great, but to do that it keeps bumping into the wall (and doors) which can be a little noisy. All in all: One of the few purchases that really made a difference and are a breeze to use. Highly recommended. Eufy rocks!

Honestly, I have many pets and a kid. There’s ALWAYS a mess to clean up. But I’m finally FREE! This was the best purchase I’ve had in a long time. It’s easy to set up. It’s easy to control with the remote and will notify you via app if something is stuck or not working. It’ll also beep. Emptying it is a breeze. There’s not cat hair floating around anymore and it’s less dusty. You can also do spots only which is great for when there’s crumbs on the floor. I don’t have carpet so I can only account for hard wood and laminate. But I’m sure it’ll work on a non shag.It comes with tools for if a string gets wrapped around the bottom and things to clean it with. It also looks like parts are available for an easy order on Amazon.Honestly I was so excited to find this on sale. I’ve wanted one for a long time and I’m so happy! I didn’t need to spend a thousand dollars either. Less work for me! I just tell google to start it and continue with my day.
