Great lights, great software, great price, easy set up, strong adhesive
Good price, very easy to set up, and the app works very well. I bought these for my 1BD Apartment. Adhesive is very durable, didn’t even need to clear a way through my popcorn ceiling, it just sticks through it all. App controls all Govee accessories really well and I’m happy to see Govee supports their products for a long time. Definitely like their lighting ecosystem. Their light and color effects are nice, they even have custom and community light sequence setup options. 100ft, just like described.

These blew my expectations out of the water. Adhesive quality is great even on the top of some dusty crown molding in my house. Each individual strip is very bright and the light is brilliant. But the app is the best part, the lights connected in about 3 seconds and the functionality is way more than I’ll ever need. 5/5 stars.

ok I’m completely updated my review. I originally rated it as 1 star I’m changing it to 5 based on the fact these lights ARE fixable… I have the 65ft ones and the 100ft ones… during install one half on my 65foot ripped…now I know everyone says that they can’t be fixed but THEY CAN. you need a very specific 4 pin connector (ONLY for the 65 foot, 100 feet is a 3 pin connnector) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DY6KLK2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 I don’t know if the link will work but THIS is the type of 4 pin connector you need… now you may lose some length but you need to cut right at the edge of the copper (oval) connectors..DO NOT cut the copper cut past it, do the same on the part you want to connect (depending on what side you’re on make sure the ends match opposite, like if you have the right side clipped then you need to have the left side clipped of the attaching piece… now with those clippys… instead of having the clip latch facing you and on the same side as the copper connectors, the clips need to face the back so that the conductive wire is on the same side as the copper make sure the pins puncture the copper…. I don’t know if the little right angle pieces included work but the clips WILL make the 65ft 4 pin strips work full functionality.Now onto the adhesive issue… especially with the 100 ft at first the adhesive was NOT sticking at all…. I realized my walls have oil based paint… those lil alcohol swabs they give you aren’t gonna cut it… you need 91% isoporolol alcohol you need to strip the wall of that top silky layer of paint (it doesn’t really change the color, just lightens it slightly you can tell where you wiped so be precise) but wipe down where you want the strip to be and LET IT DRY, it should feel kinda tacky, the strips will stick to that…do small sections at a time and press the strip as you go… I did 3 rooms like this after the strip originally didn’t want to stick at all.All in all the lights are actually awesome…yes they are a bit fragile during install and I have noticed that at least the 65ft does FAINTLY stay on (it’s literally a pinprick of light in a few) and during install of the 100 foot if you touched that little black sensor? that is every few inches it would cause the lights to come on faintly while they were powered off but as long as you aren’t touching them they don’t come on.They aren’t perfect and I definitely wouldn’t pay full price for them but they go on sale enough that they’re worth it.wifi connection was smooth, alexa intergretion is ok but they don’t play nice with alexa routines, other than off and on. the govee app is a bit complicated on the customizing side, there’s a bit of a learning curve but it’s not bad either…Will update in a month or so or sooner if something happens and I may try to upload a video if my explanation of the clips was bad

Que ce soit pour créer une ambiance relaxante dans le salon, une atmosphère festive dans la salle à manger, ou une lumière apaisante dans la chambre à coucher, les possibilités sont infinies.J’ai également été impressionné par la durabilité et la fiabilité de ces bandes lumineuses. Après plusieurs mois d’utilisation quotidienne, elles fonctionnent toujours parfaitement, sans aucun problème.En résumé, les bandes lumineuses LED intelligentes de Govee ont complètement transformé l’ambiance de ma résidence. Elles sont faciles à installer, offrent une qualité de lumière exceptionnelle, et ajoutent une touche de personnalité à chaque pièce. Están buenísimas, sin duda son una opción genial para empezar con la onda de las tiras LEDLa instalación fue relativamente sencilla y la medida es exacta (10 metros en este caso). La tira trae su propio pegamento en la parte de atrás, listo para ser desprendido y ser pegado poco a poco. Es recomendable limpiar la pared antes de instalarlas.Se realizaron todas las debidas pruebas.💠 El control incorporado: Es sencillo de utilizar y es lo más básico (encendido/apagado, colores base, modo música y ajuste de brillo); pero si se combina su uso con la aplicación móvil puede traer “choques” con las funciones, provocando unas especies de errores con las luces, pero nada que afecte su funcionamiento.🔶 Hay que considerar el uso de un solo dispositivo a la vez (o el control o la aplicación móvil).💠 Aplicación móvil: Es necesario crear una cuenta para utilizar las funciones que ofrece la aplicación, permite controlar prácticamente todo. Es posible crear tus propios patrones de luz (o escenas), así como usar todas las que trae la aplicación. Asimismo, puedes ajustar el brillo (intensidad) de los LED.🔶 Dale una explorada a todo lo que ofrece la aplicación en “Ambiente (Scenes)”, sin duda hay mucho que ver para descubrir todo el potencial de estas luces.💠 Uso con Alexa: Su sincronización fue muy sencilla a través de la aplicación móvil. Si tienes la aplicación de Alexa en tu celular, rápidamente se vincula. Los comandos de voz funcionan correctamente.🔶 De usar comandos por voz, considera ponerle un nombre personalizado a tus tiras, para que te resulte fácil y cómodo pedir la instrucción. P.ej. “Alexa, enciende [el nombre de tus tiras]”.💠 Función de música: De lo que más me llamó la atención de estas tiras, su función para sincronizar los LED de acuerdo a la música, o más bien, al ruido que capte el micrófono. Funciona bien siempre y cuando ajustes la sensibilidad del micrófono, todo para obtener el mejor resultado.🔶 Recomiendo usar el modo música a través del propio control, no de la aplicación, ya que es algo complejo su uso. Es importante mencionar que de usar el control, la fuente de la música debe estar cerca de éste mismo.✅ En conclusión: Es un producto que vale muchísimo la pena, cumple la relación calidad-precio.Tiene muchas formas de personalización que vale la pena probar una vez instaladas.El control por voz con Alexa permite un uso más cómodo, desde el comando más básico (prender o apagar) hasta unos más personalizables (control del brillo, escena, colores…).⚠️ A considerar: Recomiendo bastante idear en donde las instalarás, seguido por el tomar medidas para que el resultado sea el esperado, ya que en este caso la tira llego completamente unida; de igual modo, el que ya se supiera cómo y dónde se instalarían, hizo el proceso más rápido.Pruébalas antes de instalarlas, desenrollalas y conéctalas, así descartas cualquier posible desperfecto.También toma en cuenta que es necesario el uso de una red WiFi de 2.4 GHz, así como el Bluetooth en tu celular para configurar la aplicación.
