They work well, easy set up
Anyone who has had water damage to their home can appreciate that alarms like these may help save thousands in damage and repairs. These work great. They are loud (which is a good thing), and their text/email warnings are awesome. The range is good. My house is 2.5k sq ft, and the connection is strong all the way out into my garage. They were also reasonably easy to setup. As with all wireless utilities (alarms, lights, thermostats, etc…) be sure to put these on an isolated 2.5ghz network. Devices like these can be hacked, making your network vulnerable. So set up a separate network for such devices as a best practice.

Easy App instructions and nice design.
I went directly to the QR code and followed instructions using my cell phone, I did not need the small manual included, though I glanced through it and it seemed to be written in a decent format. I tested each one using a small plate of water and all 6 worked flawlessly. Each were easily identifiable using the app and I’ve been able to monitor the battery life of each one. during testing each sounded loud enough for my 2400 Sq foot home to freak me out if one should ever go off. I would buy these again. They seem of high-quality with a nice design. I had all six ready to go within 15 to 30 minutes. I cannot speak to the long-term durability. I’ve had them all monitoring sinks and the kitchen dishwasher for about a week now. I reviewed four or five other detectors on Amazon and none had perfect reviews, including this product. Govee is known for easily getting started so I decided to go with this product. I am happy I did.

Good Product, Exceptional Customer Service
Before I get into the product review, I want to call out Govee for incredible customer service. One of the sensors I received had a slight issue. When the pre-installed battery was put in, the battery bent the spring in the compartment. I was able to bend it back to get it to work, however it was slightly loose and I was worried about the device long term as the batteries are replaced.Amazon, for some reason, was not much help. I got the feeling that I would have to go through the trouble of returning the full kit. I ended up contacting Govee directly and explained the issue to them, I also included a picture but in all honesty it is hard to tell in a pic that something is wrong. Govee responded to me within 24 hours offering to send me a replacement sensor. While this sounds trivial, I have had horrible experiences lately with manufacturers support, Eufy, I am talking about you. Kudos for resolving this for me so quickly without requesting me to send you multiple videos or a blood sample.As for the product itself, it works as expected. Be sure to test each sensor before you deploy them! Setup was pretty straightforward and I didn’t run across any issues. The app works great on all my different devices, and the local alarm is very loud.I really like how the sensors also show in Google home. I use the Govee products for water leak detection, Kasa for smart light switches, samsung for home appliances and Eufy for cameras and security. All of them but Eufy work great under Google home to give me a unified view of all my smart products.My one complaint is the main hub/transmitter. If you notice in the picture the device takes up two sockets in the wall plug when it obviously only needs one. A very silly oversight by the product team but it doesn’t impact my installation.Cheers!

It works but the base design is not thought out

I have tested each sensor before placing them in their desired locations and they provide a loud audible alert as well as a notification on my phone.One of the standout features of these detectors is their long battery life. The detectors are powered by AAA batteries, which last up to two years, ensuring continuous protection without the need for frequent battery changes.However, the only drawback is the design of the home base. When plugging it in normally into an outlet it partially covers the other outlet making the other outlet mostly unusable (pictured). if you turn the base upside down and plug it into the top outlet, you can forcibly fit another plug (not pictured) but probably not the best idea.Overall, the GoveeLife WiFi Water Leak Detector 2-Pack is a reliable and cost-effective solution for protecting your home from water damage. Its easy installation, long battery life, and remote monitoring capabilities make it a valuable addition to any home.

Pedi estos sensores ya que tengo un hermano con discapacidad que suele dejar las llaves abiertas del lavamanos hasta que se desbordara el agua en los baños, afortunadamente esta solucion me ayudaria a resolver este problema, probe cada sensor para colocarlos en cada lavamanos de mi casa pero mi sorpresa fue que uno llego defectuoso en todo lo demas funciono bien y pueden ser desactivada la alarma desde la aplicacion.

I highly recommend this item. We were struggling for over a week trying to locate water infiltration. The unit was very easy to set up and within 3 hours all the alerts went off allowing us to detect where the damage was . I’m telling everyone that this is a must have for all households.

I like this product so far. Set up can be a little tricky but once set it appears to work well and give you some peace of mind. Please familiarize and use the app to set up, do not try to pair via your Bluetooth list.Customer service is excellent, please contact them via the app if you have any issues, they solved my minor problem quickly.
