Great Little Bot!
Setup was pretty simple after a quick glance over the guide. The robot connected to Wi-Fi and my Google Home network seamlessly. I love the ability to ask Google to send my robot to specific rooms.Although the app is a little sluggish at times, it’s simple and easy to use. After creating an account and signing in, I selected the option to map my home and the roomba took right off. My first impression of the vacuum was that it moved very quickly compared to my previous vacuuming robot. It only took around 10 minutes to map my 1500 sq ft condo. When the map loaded into the app, I had the option of combining/splitting rooms and naming them which took around 10 more minutes to compete. I also added no go and no mop zones to keep the roomba off specific rugs. After my map was edited, I began my first clean. The roomba moved around with precision and respected any no go zones I had just set. I noticed that suction increases when moving over rugs which is an interesting feature. At some point it stopped at the dock to empty debris, then continued on.The next day I wanted to test out the mop feature after tweaking my no go zones. I filled the water tank as instructed, installed the mop pad, and sent it off to my kitchen. I noticed during this run that it got stuck on a raised kitchen mat for a bit but finally corrected itself and continued on. The kitchen floor didn’t appear to be perfectly clean but I didn’t expect it to be any more than a once over in between manual mopping. Mopping in a different room I noticed that if my no mop zones were just a little off, the robot detected when it was about to drive over a rug and backed up to avoid mopping the rug. Love this feature!Overall I’m impressed with the performance of this robot. It’s simple and easy to use and I absolutely love the self-empty feature. I’ve had issues with previous vacuuming robots getting stuck in very odd ways around the house and so far I’m impressed with this robots ability to correct itself even in tight spaces.Inexpensive, efficient, and precise! Would definitely recommend this vacuuming/mopping robot.

Roomba 105 Combo: A Quiet, Smart Upgrade for Effortless Cleaning.
As a seasoned iRobot user, already owning a Roomba S9+ and a Braava Jet M6, I was thoroughly impressed with the straightforward setup process of the Roomba 105 Combo Robot Vaccum & Mop with AE dock. The instructions provided in the box and app were crystal clear, making it a breeze to unbox and pair with the Roomba Home app. While I haven’t yet completed mapping my entire home, the limited use so far has showcased its exceptional performance. It adeptly vaccums and mops both rugs and engineered hardwood floors, tackling corners with precision. Notably, it skilfully avoids curtains draped around the edges of walls, a challenge that ocassionally ensnared the roller brushes of my other Roombas. The obstacle avoidance technology seems markedly superior, and it operates with significantly less noise compared to my other Roomba models. For cleaning, I have been using a 30-70% mix of RO water and Bruce floor cleaner, which workds wonderfully for high-traffic zones like the kitchen and master bedroom. This single device effectively eliminates the need to deploy my two older robotos sequentially to achieve comparable results. Overall , the Roomba 105 Combo offers outstanding value for its price, delivering impressive efficiency and convenience!

Decent, will get the job done
When ordering this iRobot, it is advertised as a combo, both vacuum and mop. After opening and setting up, which was fairly easy, we decided to go full force and run a cleaning cycle. The initial start of the vacuum only was pretty great, it did get stuck a couple times but that’s just the general nature of these vacuums. After slight adjustments to furniture and fixtures, vacuuming is a breeze and does a decent job of picking up the fuzz and dust and fur collected throughout the day. When it comes to the “mop” I don’t feel like it’s mopping. it’s just dragging a wet rag that’s attached to vacuum around.Yes, the cloth ends up dirty so it’s actually cleaning something but to what extent is it cleaning? At what point is it just dragging a dirty wet cloth around to “clean”. I like this vacuum for the auto emptying and the app. They really work together well and it’s quite a breeze. Being able to isolate different areas of the house and assign where to clean is awesome. What I’m not sold on is the “mopping” feature. Dragging a wet cloths around is something I can do and this vacuum is not a fix for wet spills or anything like that. It does have a hefty price point because it’s being advertised as the 2 products in one but I will likely just be using the vacuum only.

Wow! Affordable 105combo Roomba with Power performance and precision
Wow! Affordable Roomba with impressive Power, performance, and precision. It is also incredibly quiet while cleaning , so you can still hear yourself think and carry on a conversation. I can’t believe iRobot has finally come out with a more affordable Roomba that has the same amount of power and versatility as the older more expensive models from previous generations. I had the 980, and a j7+, both have provided me with years of reliable service with routine cleaning and maintenance. This new 105 combo is just as powerful at 1/3 the price and does the same job with the versatility of including a mop and a docking station to self empty the trash and charge is amazing. iRobot has really ramped up its game. The mop feature is quick and easy to clean and refill the liquid compartment and it is able to both vacuum and mop at the same time which is an incredible future and then self-dock and empty the bin and charge on its own. The integrated app through iRobot allows you to control everything when you’re not home so you’re home can be perfectly clean when you return and not have to worry about cleaning with a busy schedule. The 105 combo, makes life easier for your home and family at a very affordable price. I highly recommend this 105 combo Roomba, over other more expensive models. It is a great value to save time and money.

I bought this for my so and partner as I love my Roomba have had it about 2 years

I bought my first Roomba September, 2020. It has served me well. It was way better than my first robot vacuum (brand not mentioned). It cleaned 500 sqm of living space 3x a week, a 300 sqm basement 1x a week and 3 bedrooms (400 sqm) 1x a week. Nonstop for all the 4 years. Carpet, wood flooring, rugs – it was able to tackle the job. I only had to replace the filter and the rollers once during the 4 years. This week, I decided to replace it as its suction power has greatly reduced. Of course, I can have it fixed (for approx C$100) but I decided to upgrade into a different model. I still chose Roomba as I was happy with my first one. I hope this new model lasts longer than 4 years (I hate throwing electronics and adding to our waste).

I picked this combo robot up on sale impulsively for 399, not fully understanding all of its limitations (new to robot vacuum and mop combos). From what I read in the reviews, I was even a bit hesitant to take the plunge, but I decided I had to check it out for myself. (Some reviews unfairly talk about it falling short in certain areas that it is really not meant to compete with, and some others talk about it not performing well at all.) There weren’t any reviews at the time of purchase that explained its performance in relation to its “actual class of vacuum and mop combo.” Hopefully what I have learned since testing it out and doing a bit more research can help someone make an informed decision, because in reality, this robot vacuum and mop combo can certainly work for many people depending on their requirements and home floor plan. The first thing to note is that this combo robot cannot vacuum “carpet” and then mop right after on its own; some user interaction will be needed to do both tasks where carpet is concerned. (Vacuuming and mopping bare floors at the same time works perfectly without any need for user interaction since the robot is programmed to stay off carpets when the mop head is attached). You just need to be sure that you have enough bare floor space between rooms if you want to perform a full floor cleaning in one run. I found that if there is not enough bare flooring space for it to get around an area rug for example, there needs to be user interaction since the mop head will lift the rug and get stuck while trying to pass.Straight out of the box, I was impressed with how well this robot learned my upstairs floor plan quickly without even installing the app. I did need to move my hallway runner rug to get a full mop accomplished, but that did not really bother me much at first. Having to move a rug for a mopping did not seem like a huge deal to me at all, and the robot cleaned every room very well with the exception of the mop reaching corners, along walls, and next to furniture, where there are always a couple of inches on average untouched by the mop. The vacuum did a much better job getting closer to those, thanks to the rotating brush on the side. Running the robot on my main floor presented me with a bit more of a challenge, though. I have an open-concept layout for my dining and living room area, having rather large area rugs in both rooms that cover most of the floor between the furniture. I also have a runner in the middle of my kitchen with counters on both sides that only leaves about a foot of bare flooring on both sides, but I have more open flooring at the other end of that runner. In both cases, that leaves very little space for this robot to get to the next location on its own. Six locations with a decent amount of bare floor to be mopped are obstructed by area rugs or furniture so every time the robot attempts to get around a rug, the mop catches the corner or edge and lifts it up, causing it to get stuck.Other than my home not being set up ideally for this robot, I was quite pleased with how well it performed with cleaning and mapping out rooms; it did get a bit confused at times before I set up the app, but even then it always seemed to self-correct. (using the app helps to improve the mapping-out performance.) There were also a couple of runs where it missed some spots, but that was only because I was moving objects around to see how it performed (it does not have obstacle avoidance technology, so clearing the area as much as possible would be ideal). As long as I cleared the area before running it, ensuring to have the fewest obstacles possible when in use, it did not miss any spots other than areas it cannot reach, as I mentioned above about corners, edges, and around furniture. (Roughly 1 to 3 inches in certain spots.) The app was also extremely user-friendly, providing some pretty great options: vacuum, mop, combo, double cleaning, scrubbing, plus the ability to adjust suction power and amount of water to be used. You can even set different options per cleaning schedule. I learned the app inside and out within only minutes. (Ease of use is one of this robot’s excellent features.)Though it is not working out for me because of my limited bare flooring between mopping areas, I still think this robot is a great option for people with enough bare flooring between rugs or carpets so it can bypass that on its own for multi-room or open-concept floor plan mop cleaning. (The robot is designed to detect carpet and avoid it automatically when mopping is involved.) Just keep in mind that the mop must be removed for vacuuming carpet. Performance- and quality-wise for its class, at the current sales price of 399, I give it a 4.5 and am rounding up on the rating. I really wish it could get over the edges of my area rugs with the mop attached, because I would certainly not hesitate to keep it if it could.

Cat With a Shopping Cart –
If you are considering purchasing this robot vacuum and you were particularly attracted to the manufacturer’s description “ideal for pet fur”: It is true!We rescue cats. Though most are getting rehomed right away, we do have a team of four who are our permanent residents. Two are long-haired, two medium-haired.Before it was a daily battle with the sweeper, now – it’s a paradise!Absolutely amazing device! The little brush moves the hair even from such complicated spots as the jungle of wires behind the TV stand. It did make us laugh once as it unplugged the cat fountain and was dragging the cord around. However, we just learned that we should take better care of the cords. Our hardwood floors are cherry color. That is the worst color to have if you have pets. But not anymore.Excellent machine. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!A bit noisy, though on the hard floors. But that is a tiny sacrifice for the amazing clean and convenience!
