Durable, fun, and useful
This guy was awesome on a recent river float trip I took with my friends. I just clipped it to my tube and let the jams roll all day. Sound quality was pretty good. I’m not sure you could expect a lot from a little speaker that might not be facing you. I liked that you could also pair with another speaker so if you and your friends are a little separated you can still hear the same music. It stood up to getting soaking wet, too.

I needed a portable speaker for my outdoor job. After evaluating the pros and cons between JBL clip 5 and go 4, I decided to go with the Clip 5. The speak is about palm size and packs a punch with the volume. It is everything I have been looking for.

Great sound quality and durability. Perfect for outdoors
Great sound quality and easy to carry. I carry this with me when going on group runs (playing music for the group), and it’s easy for me to carry, even when I’m sprinting. It also has a great battery life and can last for a while, even at a high volume. The high durability is really convenient too: I can put it down on the grass (even if it’s damp or muddy) and it doesn’t get damaged at all.

Take your music anywhere you go
Somebody left one of these behind at my son’s AirBnB, we got it working pretty easily and used it for the next week while we worked painting and maintaining the property. Super simple to get the Bluetooth working, small, portable, clip-on design makes it practical and easy and, for what it is and costs, excellent sound! I’m a musician so I hope for decent fidelity in any device. Do the vocals sound natural, is there audible bass, does it produce the sounds of the instruments evenly? It’s not tinny, boomy or harsh. If you’re an audio snob, look elsewhere but if you want better than decent sound in an easy portable format that’s great for listening when you’re busy, CLIP IT!

Brought it on a 30 mile Thru Hike
It’s bigger than I expected. I guess in my mind I thought it was going to be not too far off from the size of a carabiner but it’s more like the size of a large tape measure hanging on a carabiner. Similar weight as well. I’m really into backpacking and this was a great addition to my kit for a 30 mi hike with some friends over two days. But it’s a luxury that I probably won’t take with me on every thru hike.It definitely handled fine in the rain and the sound was pretty powerful. I enjoyed it. Love JBL
