    We Love Eufy
    Our house got broken into, so this is what prompted us to buy them. We have always loved eufy. We have had two robovacs and a baby monitor for them. We love them as a company, so we expected the same quality for these cameras, and they didn’t disappoint. Easy to set up, great video quality, no problems with WiFi, and the night vision is incredible. Highly recommend.

    Awesome Camera, Awesome Support, Outstanding Software
    Works great, battery lasts a long time and support is unbeatable. Look at my historical reviews – I give low scores when deserved, and in this case, it’s all five stars.The motion detection is amazing, and with the radar I never get false positives. Nor does it miss a thing. Sound and picture quality is outstanding. The app is powerful and easy to use.You can set advanced rules if you want like to activate when you’re away and deactivate while home. Or turn on audible alerts if your away and not otherwise. Tons of options to tweak if you feel like it but not required at all.I’ve used a few other brands and they all fail in a certain category, like battery life stinks or the software is missing features or they have a ton of false positives. Eufy got it right!

    Pricey, but highly recommend!
    As per normal, we did a LOT of research before purchasing the Eufy S3 Pro cameras (and base station).Our first priority was a security camera system that worked with Apple HomeKit, but because video quality is reduced from 4K (Eufy) to 1080P (Apple HomeKit) we are only using the Eufy app. (Apple really needs to step up their game on quality of videos for secure storage!)Other priorities were: solar-powered, excellent night vision, and NO monthly fees for video storage. The Eufy S3 Pro cameras excel in all of these!Our cameras have been installed for over two weeks now, and they are constantly at 100% of battery power, due to where we had them installed. One camera is installed on the north side of our house, and we can use the additional solar panel that came with this package if that camera begins to not get enough sunshine per day to keep it fully charged.The night vision options are awesome…without needing the camera to turn on a spotlight of any kind.And, not having to pay a monthly fee for video storage is also awesome. The base station will hold 16GB of videos, but we delete uninportant videos daily, so we will never reach that 16GB!The Eufy app is pretty damn good, including allowing us to turn off sound for notifications when there is a lot of activity on any given day due to contractors, etc. But, we don’t like that it doesn’t tell us a percentage of battery power in numbers, instead of just in a visual.A negative is the ability to easily weed out motions that should not be detected, as some of these are still in Beta mode. This means that we receive motion notifictions when people/birds/airplanes cast a shadow in our activity zones.Sound quality isn’t the best, but we haven’t really explored tweaking this yet.We do love being able to see a live video of the entire camera view (and not just the activity zone), and creating a photo of that exact event, and having it saved to our iPhone photo library!Other negatives: the 130 degree viewing field; and not having some installation method that would deter theft of these cameras. That said, there is a theft-deterent setting within the app that you don’t want to activate if you are installing/touching one these cameras, but this setting will alert you if anyone tries to steal on of your cameras once they are installed.While we have a couple of negative comments, we still give this camera system a five-star rating, and are, overall, very happy with it!

    ZERO customer service and technical support – 1 defective camera in kit
    Defective camera and ZERO customer service. I ordered the 4-camera kit with the S3 Pro camera and homebase unit. The kit arrived on July 14th. 1 of the 4 cameras was defective upon removal from the original box it was shipped in. The camera would power on, however it wouldn’t connect with the homebase. I verified it was completely charged, and went through all of the troubleshooting suggestions from the manufacturer. The 1 camera still would not connect to the homebase. The other 3 cameras work flawlessly, have a great picture, and connected directly to the homebase unit without any issues. The quality of the working cameras would have received 5 stars to be honest. However, with 1 of the cameras being completely defective, I attempted to troubleshoot the issue with the manufacturer’s web site. I wasn’t able to get the camera to work, so I tried to contact the manufacturer by telephone. I received a message that said “Our call volume is too high, please use our web site.” I then tried to use the online chat support tool on their website. After messaging with the chat application, they informed me “this is going to require a conversation with our technical support team.” They recommened I send an email to the technical support team. I sent the first email on July 15th. I will say on a positive note, they were initially quick to respond to the email, however it quickly became a massive headache to deal with the manufacturer. Over the course of the next week, I exchanged emails back and forth with their technical support team 10 times! Each time, they would ask for something different. After multiple emails back and forth, they even began requesting the same information I had supplied in the original email communication. The final frustration was the email I received a week later that reads (copied/pasted from their technical support team): Your package will undergo a thorough inspection once it arrives at our facility. This is to ensure that the contents of the package are confirmed and match your return request. Any replacement process will only commence after the inspection is completed and the contents of the package are verified. We strive to process all returns as quickly as possible, and we will keep you updated on the status of your request.I understand the need to resolve a technical issue, however this company is awful. It would have been so much easier and faster for me to have returned the item directly to Amazon and get a new kit sent out. I didn’t feel this was an amazon issue however, it was only a manufacturer defect. Again, I will applaud the quality of the working cameras, the night color vision is excellent. However, if you can’t rely on support and have this much trouble with the company, I definitely would not recommend purchasing from this manufacturer.

    I have a small older house with stucco on it. The cameras work great so far! I hope as winter approaches it still remains charged and with a clear picture. It has a nice clear picture. I love the alerts. The solar cells are a great idea! Seems like Eufy thought of it all.

    Es un producto bueno, pero es súper caro y creo que, al menos para mí, no te dicen al pie de la letra que necesita la cámara para operar ni sus límites. En primer lugar, esta cámara no funciona sin el HomeBase, el cual te cuesta como otros 3000 pesos, y sólo te ofrece 16 GB de memoria, o sea, nada. Si quieres más almacenamiento tienes que comprar una memoria externa la cual incorporas al HomeBase, lo cual implica otro costo. Aunado a ello, apenas descubrí que la cámara no graba continuamente sino la conectas directamente a una corriente eléctrica, entonces, hay que comprarle un cable para la alimentación, la cámara viene con un cable usb tipo C, pero muy corto. El punto es que es una cámara muy costosa y creo que pude buscar otras de menor precio. Además, la cámara no la puedes cambiar de angulo desde tu celular, si la quieres enfocar otro punto lo tienes que hacer manualmente. Yo la necesitaba básicamente una cámara sin cables que grabara todo el día con una memoria interna, que al menos me durara un mes, que pudiera también enfocarla de diversas maneras desde mi celular, tal vez no existen, pero pensaba que ésta era la indicada. El aparato sin alimentación eléctrica directa graba todo el día, pero por pedazos (la cámara le llama eventos). Invertí mucho en ella y tal vez puede encontrar algo mejor.
