Ok, so I wasn’t planning on purchasing this Bluetooth portable speaker. I wasn’t even in need of another speaker. However, I stumbled upon a list of tech gifts TMZ had on their app. LolThe JBL Go 3 was the item listed. No disrespect to the 3, but upon comparison (basically amount of charge time), I decided to purchase the Go 4. I love the appearance & purple color. Set-up was a breeze… and I’m not ultra tech savvy! I pushed the power button on the speaker, and my phone automatically recognized the speaker. My phone guided me through the process. There is a JBL app that I installed on my phone but I don’t think you have to install the app in order for the speaker to work. I haven’t opened the app when using the speaker. It automatically connects to my phone like any other speaker. This is a powerful little speaker. Don’t let the size fool you! I love how compact it is… easily fitting in my purse to take on the go.I would definitely recommend this item, and would order it again! 😁

Small, effective, easy to use and seems to be durable so far
It was easy to use and set up and loud enough to hear in the shower. It seems to be a bit more durable than my last 2 speakers (different brands) but you never know if you will be able to attach it in the shower somehow. This one fits on top of the towel bar securely. My last (different type) had a strap that fit on the bar (this one does not, the strap is too small). But it works well and sounds good so far. Bluetooth was essential.

Great sounding and well-built
One of the best sounding bluetooth speakers in this price range. The sound is clear and bright and the speaker can get quite loud for its size. It is also very easy to connect it to your phone through Bluetooth. The speaker will auto connect to your phone whenever you turn the speaker on making it great for the less tech savvy. The included instructions to connect to your phone are also quite clear. Additionally, this speaker is extremely durable and well-built but lightweight as it is a travel speaker. Also, I love that the speaker has various color choices. It makes it a perfect gift for the holidays and birthdays.

Powerful sound box
This product is amazing. It’s very loud. It’s pretty small and it blows the headphones out of the water JBL headphones they don’t even compare to this little sound box. I kind of wish that headphones were like the sound box.So if you are looking for a sound box, this will be the one to get and it also charges with iPhone charging cable.Don’t mind the little rags I have this at work.

It’s small, practical, and sounds amazing
I love how tiny this speaker is. It literally fits right into my hand. Sound is surprisingly powerful with nice, punchy bass. I use it all the time in my car because I have two kids, and it’s not always easy to hear music or podcasts over the noise. This little speaker makes a big difference!It’s also waterproof, which is a huge plus. I even take it into the bathroom to listen to podcasts while I shower — no worries about water at all. The battery lasts long enough for my daily routines, and I really appreciate that it’s made partly from recycled materials.It was easy to connect it to my phone. I have been using it for over a month, and it works great.Overall, it’s small, practical, and sounds amazing – exactly what I needed! (especially if you have kids 😉)

Cute Little Speaker, But Not Perfect
For the price point, the speaker is decent. It’ll be nice for camping, hiking, watersports, etc. However, I’m rather disappointed in the severe lack of Bass. I own several different versions of JBL speakers and their bass, even my old-old Flip 3 has better Bass. I tried all the settings within the app, but no Bass improvement. Other than Bass, the overall sound quality is great for its size.The portability and size of this is great. Hang it from the backpack or beltloop with a caribiner, toss it in a bag, whatever. It’s small enough to fit nearly anywhere.The app is a nice add for these. I’m hoping it works with my other JBLs.All in all, the the size and price, this is a decent little speaker. But, I would have loved to have more of the bass that other JBL speakers have.For the price, I would buy again. But it’ll definitely be a watersports speaker where I’m not looking for the deep bass.

It’s really that loud, sounds great!
I didn’t believe the reviews but thought I would try it as my old little speaker stopped working. This one is way louder than my last one (Bose), it’s easier to charge and it’s more compact. After I got it and showed my husband I had to order him one!Highly recommended!

Great battery life.
Can’t tell the difference between the Go 3 and this one. Luckily they are priced roughly the same so I’m fine with spending a little more for a substantially bigger battery. Great for hanging on your handle bars on the ATV when out in the field. Plenty of sound. JBL makes a really great speaker.
