LED Strip’s maximum run length is 32.8 feet (2 reels). After the maximum run length, the voltage drop becomes too great and you will lose light and efficiency from your system. If your application needs more than the maximum run length you will have to get another power supply or run wires from the extra strip directly back to the first power supply (wiring in parallel).

They are nice and bright. I put roughly a 10 inch piece in the wife’s trunk to do away with the dinky pinch bulb, bright enough you can tell its on in the middle of the afternoon on a sunny day. Then added them to the under side of the bed rails on my pickup truck. Only complaint is the silicone sleeve that nothing sticks to unless its more silicone and i wasn’t doing that. Instead i used MG conformal coating and put 3 heavy coats after adding double backing tape to it, its been through 3 heavy rains and still going strong.

The light strip is extremely bright! I used this as courtesy step lights on my Chevy Silverado 3500 crew cab, Duramax dually truck.There was a loose solder joint on one end of the strip and the end caps needed to be waterproofed, as the silicone that was injected when originally manufactured was not sufficiently distributed around all edges.I also needed to purchase some silicone specific adhesive to attach the strips to the rocker panels of my truck. If you’re planning on using these lights for a similar application, plan on spending some extra money on a silicone-specific adhesive. Regular 3M double-faced tape will not adhere to the silicone encasement tube.Once installed, I was thrilled with how bright these lights are! I used the leftover section for my truck toolbox lid light, and I even installed a 12v transformer to my Ridgid sliding compound miter saw and applied a 4” strip as an auxiliary blade light. Wow, what a fantastic modification that was!All things considered, I recommend these lights. I dinged one star due to the poorly sealed end caps and one poorly soldered wire.I do recommend using a fine tipped soldering iron such as you would use for any electronics and use flux when soldering to these lights, as this will aid in making a secure connection to the strip. Also, use a low temperature solder and soldering iron, as the strip will likely not survive high temperature, large tipped irons.Soldering to any LED strip lights takes the proper tools and a delicate touch to be successful. 😉

Everything it should be. Easy to wire. Works great. The rubbery backing did not stick well to the adhesive strip i hoped to use. Had to get industrial strength double tape

Warm and cozy
These didn’t work for what I originally bought them for, but if you want a pretty, diffused, warm light that doesn’t totally blind you, and at a decent price, these are pretty sweet.
