After I bought a Levoit Vital 100S for my bedroom and being super impressed with the odor removal, dust collection, and the way it improved my sleep.I decided to buy this for the downstairs space as a gift for my parents. We have a dog and my mom is always complaining that the house smells like dog, especially before guests come over. Our house is an open concept 1200 square foot space, I put this pretty close to the center with the pet dander specialty filter. The quality of the machine and filter is great, we use a high fan speed most of the time to keep the air flowing, it collects an incredible amount of dust, when in auto-mode, it kicks the fan speed up to clean the air when theres a source of PM2.5 like cooking, candles etc.Auto mode is amazing for when we’re not home or at night, still keeps the air fresh but I don’t piss off my dad by running up the energy bill.It’s a sleek looking, lightweight machine that just works. After a month of ownership I think it’s worth every penny I spent. My mom doesn’t complain about the smell any more, my dog’s allergies have gotten better leading to less biting himself and scratching. Also less allergies for the humans too as we’re all allergic to pollen.The bonus is the app, it’s so easy to link, you can control the device from anywhere, set a schedule, it’s user friendly. It also works seamlessly with Alexa.This was a great investment and I intend to buy more air purifiers from Levoit in the future. 10/10

I’m glad we bought this air purifier. We have 2 large dogs and 4 cats. Our house always smelled like DOG, despite having a good air filtration system for the whole house. Our house no longer smells like dog; it’s so much fresher. We have a couple of people who help with our cleaning, and they don’t use a vacuum cleaner with a good filter. The Levoit senses the increase in air debris and cranks up, quickly removing impurities. A few days ago, one of our German Shepherds was licking his paw about 2 feet from the Levoit air purifier. After a minute or so, the Levoit sensed the dander and fur coming from his paw and cranked up. That was amazing, I must say. You can see from the display what the current air quality is and get notifications when it changes. We set it on auto and let it go. Maintenance is easy. Vacuum or wash the pre-filter and you’re good to go. The unit seems well-built and a decent size. I really like the U-shaped air intake that pulls in air from all directions. It’s lightweight, so easy to move.

Quality, Quiet and good AP
So far seems to be a quality purifier. Air seems lighter when in use. I like that the AP shows air quality and programable settings. Was so impressed with performance of the smaller 1000S unit, after only a couple of hours use, I ordered a larger 2000S for a larger section of our home. Sleep mode, practically silent. We use fan speed level 1 when sleeping for smaller 1000 unit. We tend to use level two on this 2000S unit which is very quiet (a whisper) as well in our opinion. The 1000S actually worked well in larger area of home, the 2000S certainly larger in size, logically should be better for larger areas. When removing holiday decorations from containers that were in the garage into the home, I checked the app and saw the color had changed to red telling me poor air quality. Then, when I looked an hour later, it had suggested to clean dust sensor and inspect filter filters, the first filter was extremely dusty, but worked perfectly after I vacuumed it clean. Perhaps I don’t have the setting set properly, but would’ve liked to have been notified of this rather than find this out by manually opening up the app. However, still impressed with the app explaining what may be wrong and how to proceed.

I first bought this last year and it was good so I bought a second one for my basement. It seems to scrub air pretty quickly. I have an air quality monitor that tracks particulates in the air and it goes down quickly when this is running. There are 4 speed settings but they are not created equal: speeds 1 and 2 are noticeable noise levels (the difference between 1 and 2 is slim), speed 3 is pretty loud and speed 4 is insane. I mainly use mine while I’m dusting and vacuuming to help scrub out the air while I’m cleaning. I also used my basement when during renovations to scrub the air of saw dust, drywall dust, and other odors: this is definitely not what this air purifier is designed for but it worked though I do not know what toll it took on the purifier itself. Interestingly the advertised square footage keeps changing: when I first bought the unit it was 1800, then 1878, now 1875. I’ve never used any of the wifi stuff, I just turn it on when I want to or leave it on auto.Ultimately I like the look of this unit and it does its job in an efficient, quiet way.

Great product!
So I have an Australian Shepherd for a dog. The dog and I track in a lot of dirt/dusty. He’s also a fluffy dog(all you fur children parents know the pain) let me tell you. This thing does the trick. It has kept down the dust and fur big time. I still have dust and fur around the room but not anywhere close to as bad if I didn’t have it. You also have no idea it’s even running. The only time it becomes loud is when the fan kicks on high. It isn’t too bulky in size that it hogs a bunch of space. As for allergies, I have none. So I can’t comment on that. Overall very happy with this product and I do recommend it.

Levoit Vital 200S
Purchased the Vital 200S March ’25. We find that it’s powerful, quiet, and pretty smart. I especially like when you’re cooking, it detects a rise in “bad” air and ramps up (it’s pretty loud when doing this, but not terrible) to filter odors and restore air quality. It covers a fairly large open space easily, and the app makes control effortless. Filters are simple to replace, and sleep mode is whisper‑quiet. Great value for anyone wanting cleaner air without the premium price tag. Also, to note, as of this writing filter is at 68%. Not bad for 8 months.

Great product, it really helps reducing symptoms of allergies (we have pets) in our household, we sleep so much better with it! A big plus is that it also clears out pet hair with its washable filter, which means we don’t have to vacuum as often! Our allergies were the main reason we invested in this air purifier and it hasn’t let us down months later. We use it every night and clean out the washable filter about once a week, it’s super convenient and a great investment!For reference, our house is around 1000 ft2, all on one floor and open.I LOVE that there’s an app that lets you see the air quality in real-time and telling you when it’s time to change the filter. I also get alerts whenever the washable filter is ready to be vacuumed.On the first two settings, it’s very quiet, I’m talking you won’t even know it’s on. We also use it as a background noise on its turbo setting, very helpful when my partner wants to sleep in and I have to do things in the house early in the morning!

J’ai été convaincu.Jusqu’à présent nous sommes tout à fait satisfaits. Ils sont efficaces et très silencieux. Le plus facile est de les mettre en mode automatique. Il faut savoir aussi qu’ils peuvent être contrôlés par une application (sur mon iPad et mon iPhone) qui offre des options supplémentaires.Nous avons 2 chats. Et nous avons des amis qui sont allergiques ! Et je suis moi-même atteint d’une maladie pulmonaire chronique et je constate déjà qu’il m’est possible de réduire ma médication, quoique je ne le recommande pas nécessairement !
