Efficient & Enduring: This motion activated LED bulb provides 1100 lumens of brightness (equivalent to a 100W traditional bulb) and lasts for 20,000 hours, saving up to 85% on energy
Enhanced Home Security: It automatically illuminates when intruders approach, scaring them off and alerting you, providing an additional layer of powerful security for your family. Whether used indoors or outdoors, it ensures ample lighting and a safe environment

It enhances safety and convenience in both indoor and outdoor settings. (Tips: 1.It can not work with enclosed fixture or recessed fixture, the motion sensor part must exposed outside.)
Warm Tips – Please Read Before Purchase: Product didn’t work in a closet? This bulb requires specific installation conditions to function properly. Please note: The sensor must face downward and must not be blocked by fixture covers or enclosures. Not all fixtures support sensor bulbs, if your fixture is enclosed, upside-down, or has frosted covers, this bulb may not work. Need help? Contact us before ordering, we’re happy to assist!

Great idea, but bottom of bulb must be exposed to work correctly
After a recent spate of attempted break-ins in my area, I started leaving my porch lights on. This quickly became a pain because I had to remember to turn them off in the morning and on in the evening. I wanted a motion sensitive solution, but didn’t want to change my existing fixtures. While researching options, I came across these bulbs, which seemed like a great solution for my rear light. I simply replaced the existing bulb with one of these and left the porch light switch on. The passive infrared sensor in the light bulb with cause it to illuminate when a warm, moving body, (human or animal), enters its field of view. An additional light sensor in the bulb detects if the light is needed so that it won’t turn on if it’s light out. It works well, but be aware of two things. First, the bottom of the bulb must be exposed for it to work at all. It will NOT work in an enclosed light fixture. This is just how the technology functions. Second, the horizontal distance from the bulb that can be sensed depends upon how high the bulb is. The higher it is, the wider the area that will trigger the light. At about seven feet high, my experience is that it detects about a six-foot radius. It works exactly as advertised, and I may buy more in the future. BTW, I placed the second bulb of the two-bulb pack into my pantry, as I am constantly forgetting to turn the light off after I’ve been inside. Now, I just leave the light switch on, and the light comes on when I walk in, and turns itself off when I exit.

Works As Advertised
I am using the bulb in a basement laundry area. It turns on as I approach the washer and stays illuminated as I sort clothes and load the machine. Turns off after I leave the basement.

These are great, only one thing could be better…
These lights are awesome! but, there is no way to keep them on if you are in the room. A little longer of a timer would be cool, but I still love these for my garage. Easy to set up, color is great, durability seems good as they have lasted for a few months so far, function well and I would say a great value for the money for sure!

Works Well – Range of Sensor is Just Right – See UPDATES regarding advice to prevent failure
Having tried an adapter with an integrated sensor used with a non-sensing bulb, I found that the application at hand had a socket that partially covered the sensor on the adapter and thus failed to meet the need. So, this product, with an internal sensor, turned out to be a great choice. The light levels that trip the sensor on and off correspond to dusk and dawn for a fixture that is on a covered porch. The 3000K color temperature is warm enough to emulate that of an old-tech incandescent bulb. The 100w equivalent rating is justified – almost too bright, so if there were a 75w equivalent that might be a better choice.All-in-all, great. Highly recommended. I’ll let you know in 20 years when this bulb is expected to expire.UPDATE: About a week into the application described above, the first bulb failed – will not light up under any circumstance. The test is valid because the second bulb lights up in the dark as it should under identical conditions. One week is not “twenty years.”UPDATE #2: The failure reported in the above UPDATE was preventable. After exchanges of messages with the seller, and the astoundingly clear and open communication on the part of the seller, I understood that these bulbs are unlikely to be compatible with fixtures that have a dimmer in their circuits. Running the bulb at less than full brightness (accidentally) apparently fried the first bulb and it is not usable. The second bulb displayed a lot of flashing at some point, but it has survived. I thus attribute the problem to my ignorance of the dimmer incompatibility, not the product quality. I did recommend that the seller make it clear in the listing that it is likely the bulbs will fail with dimmers, perhaps not all, but even if they do work the dimmers should be kept at full brightness. My thanks to the seller for enduring this adventure with me, and for clarifying the problem. Excellent customer care!

Limited sensor range. Shuts off too soon.
Update: 5/5 StarsUpon my first review, the seller reached out to me and offered a return or replacement of the bulbs. I requested a replacement. The customer service and their willingness to solve the problem with the previous defective bulbs was outstanding. They truly care about their customers and the quality of their products. The range on the replacement bulbs is much better than the initial bulbs (by 2-3 feet). Also, the new bulbs do detect small animals (when mounted outside of a sliding door facing down). The sensor shuts off after about 44-45 seconds, which seems too soon for me, but might work well for others. Overall, the replacement bulbs work great and I am pleased with their customer service.3/5 StarsThe bulb screws in easily and emits a white light. It works as intended, but the range isn’t that far. You have to be within about 3′-4′ of the light bulb before the sensor detects you and the light comes on. So, the bulb, if mounted on an outside wall, does not detect small animals. That’s the main reason I bought this. Plus, the light shuts off too soon. I’m now questioning whether or not to put the regular bulb back in the socket.

Highly recommended!
I have tried every dusk to dawn device and bulb and all of them would come on randomly day in and day out. These baby’s work as advertised. Previously we had to leave the recessed porch lights on around the clock because nothing would work up inside the cans. Well these work just fine which I’m really surprised at. They don’t come on during cloudy days like all the other crap did. They only come on at DARK!

work as described. 100 watt incandescant equivalent.

Works as expected, the only issue is the listing description. It states it’s warm white with 2700k but it’s definitely not warm white. It’s more 6500k (cool white) and I know this because I have smart lights and have everything set to 2700k, these sensor light colour is too cool. Quite annoying as I intentionally bought warm white as cool white is very uncomfortable for some people with autism.

These bulbs work better than I expected. They’re very sensitive, and they work even when the sensor is inside a glass fixture, as long as the bottom is open.At first I thought I’d have to get a socket extension so that the entire sensor would be on the outside, but it turns out I don’t need it.

Nice idea but they don’t stay on very long. Only about 10 seconds before blinking off. And the sensor seems a bit wonky. I notice it’s on often when nothing has triggered it and some times I have to wave my hand under it to try to get it to come on. I bought it for my long hallway where the light switch is at the far end of my hall… was hoping that this would prevent me from keeping it on all day so I don’t have to try to wander in the dark to the far end where the switch is. And I found out it won’t work in my outdoor back yard light because it has a whitish light cover on that light. It does work on my front door exterior light well tho. It has a clearer light cover.
