Nice for lightweight additions
Excellent for the price to add a lightweight item to a camera cage or cold shoe. I use it to mount a Cam Ranger.I don’t think it would be great for heavier items but you’d want to spend more for something like that anyway.

Better than mount comes with monitor
This NEEWER monitor mount works perfect for my 5.5″ field monitor. The cold shoe mount is super convenient for quickly attaching it to my camera cage, and that anti-twist 1/4″ screw really does its job – no more annoying monitor wobble while I’m trying to nail a shot. It feels solid and well-built, giving me peace of mind that my monitor is secure. Definitely a great addition to my rig!

I got this Monitor holder because I wanted something more stable than the one my Monitor screen came with, material looks strong. It is perfect for I wanted for, as you can see in the photo it work perfectly with my cage and folds enough to be on top(my cage is the old version and doesn’t have the hood on top like the new version).
