When the oven arrived, the box had a dent in it, but it did not seem to reach the oven, so the oven appears to be intact. I applied for the extended 5 yrs warranty as directed by a flyer attached to the oven. In doing so, the process asked a question if I would be willing to write a review. I said yes I would. Then I received an email confirming that I had registered, but they wanted me to confirm that I received the email. However, in the email, it ask that I confirm that I wrote a review. Well since the oven arrived last night, I had not had a chance to even use the oven let alone write a review, so, I postponed confirming the email. My reviews are very important to me and many people have liked my reviews. So, I want to give a truthful review with a lot of information for people considering purchasing the item. So, lets begin. I read the instructions and followed the cleaning procedures. We had some pizza left over from the previous day, so we decided to try reheating it. It is going to take me a while to figure out how to operate the controls. I was trying to use the reheat preset, but I was not getting there. So, my wife Googled how to do it and without the preset, we figured how to preheat the oven and then put the pizza in to reheat it. That was successful and the pizza came out moist, yet the crust was crisp. First mission accomplished. The instructions caution you not to touch the outside of the oven when it is operating and to keep it 5 inches away from anything on all sides. Truer instructions could not be said. The only thing you can touch on the oven when it has been heated up is the door handle. If you brush against any other part, you will get burned. I am not reducing my stars because of this because you are warned about how it operates. You are cautioned not to leave it unattended nor to let children play around it. It would be nice if it did not get this hot on the outside, but if you want the features of this oven, that is what you need to be aware of. I am not currently reducing my stars concerning the difficulty that I am having figuring out the controls. I have been a computer programmer for many years and different programmers have different logic. So, just because my logic does not make these controls intuitive, I need to study the instruction manual for a while before I pass judgment on the controls. I suspect that within a short time, I will understand the logic and I will be able to move through the controls with ease. I wanted to write at least this much in a review so that I can say I wrote a review and I can confirm the email. However, as I use this oven, I plan to make updates to this review. If I determine I need to reduce the stars, I will. But for right now, the oven has functioned as described.

Very Nice product. I would recommend
I have just received this item, yesterday. I just used it. It of course has that New smell permiating throughout the house. But, I’m sure that will burn off the more I use it. The rack, basket, and fry plate that come with it are high class. After, reading other reviews on this toaster oven/ air fryer, I decided to take a chance. And because it’s Amazon’s Black Friday SALE, I feel I got a good deal as well. So far, I’m NOT disappointed! The Jury is still out as I just used it 1x. But I’m certain I’ll be using everyday. It I got it to keep from having to cook with my kitchen stove. And with Thanksgiving next week, I’ll be using it a lot. I’ll try to keep you informed. I find the cooking speed better, it’s easy to figure out how to use (I’m NOT Tech savvy at all) It’s VERY easy to clean, the oven quality is great! It advertises that it can cook up to a 14 lb Tukey. I don’t know about that, but I bought this because I cook only for myself. Its perfect for people who live alone. I’ll be cooking Whole Turkey legs (drum & thigh) just for myself on Thanksgiving Day. I’m certain this will be perfect for that as other reviews have been soo positive!

Best full sized for the money! Details in review
I think probably better than the #1 rated, name brand unit once I get to understanding how to use it, master it. I’m new to convection cooking and this unit is so powerful that I have a learning curve what recipes & foods to turn the convection down %. I’m still messing up the preheat but definitely recommend it. Lighting is exceptional vs my friend’s brand name. Looks exceptional. Large. The 2nd & 4th pics show two inserts, scuffed as moron who sold it to me here as refurbished didn’t pack it well and they got all banged up. I was to lazy and underwhelmed to return it as a good price. The 3rd pic is of the bottom removable crumb try. I have it lined with tin foil & needs replacing as spills but recommended using foil! The trays automatically come out as you open the door sparing burnt fingers! Keypad & dual are easy to read still & I’m 55. I keep it pretty clean except behind on cleaning sides and underside of top/elements. Never leave the mesh air fry pan to soak or even leave to drip dry in DW as starts to rust. If DW cleaning use heated dry! The manu would have a home run if the pans & whole interior were non-stick! That part is a big disappointment as by these iterations those improvements should be included!!!! Inside of window is easy to clean w/viva paper towels (as superior), wipes or gentle soap & water. I don’t leave spills to accumulate given nonstick and timeliness matters for keeping it clean & nice. The amount of drips/spills shown on the lined drip try do not make the unit smoke as of yet. I love being able to look at my food level of browning given the strong interior light as picky. This is a large unit but as you see in my apt it still fits below the cabinet with a tray & basket atop. The sides & top get hot so don’t touch or get plastic near them. Children should not use this kind of unit until teenager due to complexity and pan movement difficulty on sliders. I have issues with the mesh unit dropping down and not going in & out smoothly. I’ve got to figure that out or my refurbished pans or sliding slots aren’t factory perfect. I lastly wish the unit came with a lot more recipes for mains, sides and desserts. The NuWave is way behind other manufacturers in providing such. There are Facebook groups & such but NuWave should have a robust application of proven recipes/settings & times for use with their product vs fumbling with other manufacturers cookbooks & apps & having to tweak & watch your food vs it be the timesaver it is supposed to be! I’ve looked for some aftermarket pans and things yet my 8×8/9×9 pans fit so as single I don’t need huge pans for it. I have not used the integrated temp probe yet to review it.
